When she eventually moved to Florence, Oregon, I was genuinely sad to lose such an incredible practitioner. Recently, my cousin and I decided Michelle was worth the trip, so we planned a special girls' wellness weekend in Florence. My cousin had actually seen Michelle once years ago while visiting Seattle when Michelle was still at Ballard Health Center. That single treatment left such an impression that she has talked about it ever since and often says she hasn't been able to find anyone like Michelle in Los Angeles. When I mentioned making the trip to Florence, she immediately wanted to join me and flew up from LA so we could go together. During our visit, my cousin and I received acupuncture treatments from Michelle, experienced the HOCATT with McKenzie, and spent time in the light therapy room, which was incredibly relaxing and such a unique experience. Together, Michelle and McKenzie have created a welcoming healing space that goes far beyond a typical wellness appointment. Michelle has an incredible gift for treating the whole person, not just individual symptoms. Every time I've worked with her, I've left feeling better physically, mentally, and emotionally. She is a true whole-body healer. McKenzie is wonderful in her own right. Years ago, while she was still practicing in the Seattle area, my late mother was living in a nursing facility and wasn't exactly excited about trying acupuncture. McKenzie met her where she was comfortable and provided acupressure treatments instead. She even traveled to the nursing facility so my mom didn't have to leave or worry about getting to an appointment. My mom absolutely adored her. The kindness, compassion, and genuine care McKenzie showed her is something I'll never forget. The fact that my cousin and I planned a special girls' weekend and traveled from Washington (and Los Angeles) to Florence just to see Michelle and McKenzie says everything about the level of care they provide. The healing, support, and attention we received made the trip completely worthwhile. We left feeling more centered, energized, and restored, and we're already hoping to make another visit in the future. I had to ask, " do you use the little thumper do-dad?" He said no, that he runs a "Crack House" ! I was sold Dr. Epley is a great guy. He has a genuine desire to fix what is going on with you. Had I had more time or lived in the area, I might have went along with blood tests etc Just to see what he had to say. He took a lot of time explaining and listening to my thoughts as well. I was impressed as now a days no Dr. has the time to listen. They get paid to rubber stamp you through your "insurance " (joke) The good Dr. determined I just needed some maintenance adjustment, and it felt very, very good.
