The way they treated my mother in law was disgusting. They pulled her underwear down during the massage without any notice or permission. They treated her like a bother because she was gifted her massage through Groupon, and they left partway through the massage without saying a word​ to go talk to the receptionist. They demanded a tip, saying she NEEDED to tip, and even repeated it when she was confused. I am reviewing this awful establishment in support of her because this behavior is ridiculous. read more

First time and last time coming here. The lady was texting the entire foot massage. Wild. I called at 6, the lady on the phone said to come at 7 and they'd be able to accommodate a one hour foot massage. Yelp said they close at 10. The lady who did my massage seemed to have just finished and was irritated to be doing another one. She didn't pull the rag down far enough over my eyes so when I noticed only one arm alternating between aggressive leg rubs and basically stopping I opened my eyes to see her texting. She texted the entire time she worked on my legs and feet. When I turned over, she shoved her elbows into my spine and caused more pain than what I started with. I was able to do a last-minute two hour booking at Sunrise Spa. it was very easy to book online, which I really appreciate in this day and age. Everything was spotless when I came in from the front desk to massage rooms. My therapist, Dylan, was very adept at many massage styles which he used throughout the two hour time period. It was so relaxing that I fell asleep in the middle of it. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the friendliness, the professionalism, and the value for the cost. They were located right next to my hotel and had plenty of options available for massage because My husband and I called all around town and everything was booked up. Firstly, I would not believe any of the recent poor reviews, likely from depraved, soulless individuals. These ladies are really nice (considering they don't even speak english) and know their business and craft. I would return without hesitation. I received a $100 gift certificate and it got me a wonderful, effective, relaxing 90 minute massage from JJ, who doesn't look a day over 18. The shop itself is super clean and nice with an actual heated toilet seat should you need to use the bathroom. As far as the music, it is spa music in the massage space, but someone in the building enjoys listening to American rock too. I heard a bit of Bob Dylan and The Boys Are Back in Town by Thin Lizzy. If this bothers you I suggest bringing a pair of earplugs. Easy to find and super easy to park your vehicle in a safe area near a lot of amenities including an Investment Brokerage next door! I won't be returning because there were a few major issues. First off, the communication is lacking, and while this could be attributed to a language barrier, the employees don't attempt to make anything clear. Some signage or written directions would make a difference. During the massage the employee kept removing my sheet, and I was pretty uncomfortable with the exposure. I've always felt massage therapists are pretty discreet about shuffling the sheet around, etc. This was NOT the case and I was stark naked multiple times. Additionally, the massage wasn't even good and I question whether the person giving the massage had any training at all (or even looked inside an anatomy book for that matter). Sometimes they used lotions, sometimes it was dry and kind of painful. By the end I was just waiting for it to be over. Upon finishing they demanded I pay in cash, this wasn't discussed upfront and there were visa and mastercard stickers plastered everywhere. Luckily I had the cash, but then they told me my tip wasn't good enough. Uh, excuse me? How much I tip is my choice and honestly the experience was crap. Furthermore I was forced to pay in cash and didn't have anymore. It was not an enjoyable or relaxing experience. I won't be back and w ould not recommend this place to others. read more

Zero stars if I could. I went a few months ago for a massage, and the door was left open in my room. The other woman working walked in during my massage and was talking loudly making so much noise that it completely ruined it. The massage was unfortunately not what I had hoped and I left feeling worse than I came in. I then was expected to tip $20, and when I didn't, they laughed at me. I wish I would have read Yelp reviews before coming here, I had a bad experience and it seems on par with others. I felt really uncomfortable with the lack of discretion by the person giving my massage. She kept removing my sheet entirely and exposing my private areas (which was totally unnecessary for the massage and inexcusable). My massage was not good, and now 11 hours later my back hurts to the point of it being tender to even sit down. I have had lots of massages before and this one felt like it was done by someone without any training or education. I guess I should be grateful I wasn't injured. Lastly, I too feel ripped off regarding the tip. I felt disrespected regarding the nakedness and didn't enjoy my massage, yet a front desk employee had the gall to tell me what tip was required. The women there were really friendly and smiled, I felt welcomed. But there are a few things they can do to make the experience more comfortable. The area where your head is suppose to go into was very hard, and it hurt my head and neck. We spent about 30 minutes of the massage trying to communicate about it as my masseuse did not speak English. I left with neck pain. It was also very noisy from the business next door. This was bait and switch. Made an appointment via text, and had a male masseuse lined up. When I arrived there were two women who didn't speak any English and no male masseuse. The women wanted me to go into a back room. I felt very uncomfortable and got out of there as fast as possible. Afterwards I texted them to ask what happened, and they said I didn't want a male masseuse--but he wasn't there and they didn't understand English. During the massage she was very uncomfortable as he was massaging her buttocks a little too much and her shoulders exposing her breast. Very disappointed. I have visited this spa three times over the past year and have given three gift certificates to family. I guess you could say it's my new massage parlor. I love the ambience. The temperature of the spa is always comfortable, the music is relaxing, the lighting is spot on and it is clean. This last time I had a 60 min massage and 30 min foot massage. I asked for strong pressure because I needed it. The lady who worked on me did a great job. My body felt so much better during and after. She also did some stretches on my muscles that really helped. There is a bit of a language barrier but we always seem to understand each other and everyone that works there is very nice about it. I will definitely continue to go here and would recommend it to anyone who needs a massage and wants a relaxing experience. read more

When I called to make an appointment the man on phone did not speak English well, and he couldn't give me any information. I recommend booking on line and to ask questions on website. The massages were quite good although different than we are used to. My husband had never experienced a woman walking on his back before, but after the initial surprise he really enjoyed it.! We asked for a Couples massage and weren't told his would be different. I guess we could have figured it out by the funny looking metal canopy bed. Lol! What we liked was how Japanese massage fully engages the muscles. This was a perfect technique for after mountain bike riding, and all those sore muscles felt much better. What we didn't like, was there were some issues with professionalism. I read some bad Yelp reviews, which made me a bit nervous to try Sunrise. My review is mixed, so I wanted to address the good and the bad. Initially we had to wait about 30 mins, because another couple was supposedly late. The women were apologetic and friendly, but they were talking during the beginning of massage in loud voices. I asked them a couple times to not talk, so they began whispering. It was hard to fully relax because of this and because we waited so long with no explanation. I actually had to put on a robe and go to front desk ask what was taking so long! Communication is the issue for me, not the massages because they were better than expected. One warning for modest folk, if you don't like feeling exposed be sure to tell them No 'bottom massage' otherwise you will end up with a towel covering your private parts. Other Yelp reviews mentioned this as a problem, so I wanted to prepare anyone for what to expect. These kind of surprises can ruin an otherwise enjoyable massage. About a week ago I got a certificate to get a service at full price and a service for a friend free. Yesterday was the last day of the special so my friend and I decided to go get the 60 minute full body massages. my first impression was that it was very clean and seemed nice enough. The lady at the front desk barely spoke English but was nice enough and we muddled through. My massage therapist, while ok at massaging, had little regard for my privacy or modesty. First she walked in while I was still undressing after only one knock. Secondly several times during the massage she lifted the sheet far more than necessary revealing my body. My friend had a even worse experience with her male masseuse and said she felt very vulnerable several times like her breasts and private areas were exposed and he did not make sure she was covered properly. When we went to pay she blatantly asked for a tip (rude!). I was a bit disappointed with the lack of modesty but the massage itself was ok so I decided to tip slightly over 11%, $7 on a $60 bill. She pushed my two $1 bills back to me and demanded I give her another $5 totalling $10 (which is over 16% tip if you're counting). I really wanted to like this place since they have good prices and a good variety of services however, I can't recommend them and I won't be going back read more

Oh my goodness, I just left and had to post a review immediately! I had a 90 minute massage combined with a 30 minute foot massage, with Ivy. She is amazing! She seems to intuitively know where the knots are and gets at them from different vantage points. She speaks English to the point that you can say more pressure or less, let her know if it's too hot or if you're cold, and so much more!She is incredibly sweet and adorable, going out of her way to make you feel relaxed and comfortable! The ambience is relaxing with classical music playing and the front desk personnel are welcoming and kind, no one makes you feel weird because they speak a different language. I just have to throw this in here... There is a bidet in the bathroom. Yes, details like this "float my boat"! Again, I need to expound on Ivy...I have had many many massages, from many many different people. I feel like a massage connoisseur. And in saying that, Ivy is absolutely amazing! Booked a 2 hour massage with this place for me to show up early for my appointment and waited over 20 mins to be helped after my appointment time and they asked if I could come back 4 hours later because a party of 4 walked in at the same time. They decided to take them first and push back my appointment time longer so they could benefit from making more money with someone who just walked in. Based on recent reviews I decided to book two combos for myself and my friend. The massages themselves were OK - not great - just ok. We were both surprised at the lack of modesty/respect our masseuses used (covering towel repeatedly pulled down too far, for example). We were surprised they used towels instead of sheets for coverage. The reflexology was nice. However when it came time to pay they pushed us to use Venmo, and then when I tipped in cash the proprietor had the female masseuse count the amount and then she demanded more, citing a 90 minute massage. It was incredibly rude but I handed over more money since the masseuses were standing there at the time. Tips are reflective of service: if 20% is industry standard but the service was subpar, the tip will be less. She was very pushy. It was poor etiquette and bad business. Additionally, they refused to match an online deal even though their virtual assistant had promised that when I booked. Won't be going back! read more
