The best thing about this mall is the Asian lady's gum stand. Gum stand is based. Massage place is not good. Other stores are scammy upsellers. VS has low variety. Salon is subpar and has no new technology, they use fans and the place is dirty. The people will just sit right next to you on the bench touching you with other places they could be. The arcade area is dope. Movie theater is probably worth it and staff are nice there. I'd go here for a quick cafeteria experience IF I liked any of the restaurants, otherwise... skip it! read more

This feedback isn't about the mall in general, but specifically about Aerie, a store I often visit for my young teen. For over two years, I've appreciated their exceptional treatment and assistance to even the most reserved young ladies. I'm grateful for the staff's excellent customer service and their ability to make customers feel at ease. The selection is impressive, and the prices are fair. It sees like so many malls are going down hill in smaller cities but this one was pretty impressive considering the size of this city. The upside doesn't look like there are a lot of options but there are plenty of good solid stores open. The courtyard is great with a lot of variety, the carousel and a good movie theater. I saw a lot of sales and das able to get a good selection of clothing stores for good deals. Loved the pretzel shop and marble slab option along with chair massage. We've never considered driving to Brownsville from SPI but this has been a great choice to expand things to do. Sorry took no pics' read more

Been to plenty of mall's around the country and I have to say for the size of the city it resides in, it's a nice mall with a nice assortment of essential stores, a built in Movie Complex, a generous Food Court with an actual upscale restaurant built into the mall. I may add that "Adolios" is stocked with a full bar and large screens to take a load off from shopping and catch up on sports while the misses continues her shopping spree. Let's not forget about the beautiful, signature, 2 tier, Carousel that's located in the food court. Anchor stores include: Bealle's Dick's, Dillards, JCPenny's, and Sears. In addition to everything going on inside the mall, the surrounding area has an additional shopping area full with other chain stores, some boutiques, and plenty of restaurants. It's definately worth a gander if your in the mood for shopping and dining! read more

This is the best place for shopping in Brownsville but definitely not in the valley. I wish the mall was a little bigger, had a few more stores, and a lot more parking. The mall gets uncomfortably packed during the summer and during the holiday season but because of the movie theater inside of it i give it a four out of five. read more

Bathrooms bathrooms bathrooms -I love the mall, but why do the bathrooms have to be so disgusting! I would rather go home then continue to shop! You can smell them as we walk down on the hallway! I really do think the mall could do a better job of cleaning the restrooms. Maybe the people could use some kind of chemical cleaner or cleaning product. To clean- because it is BAD ! This is the best place for shopping in the Brownsville/Southmost area. Sunrise Mall use to be a Brownsville shopping reject, but not anymore this Awesome mall has a good mix variety of shops and stores. With awesome food court, carousel, and movie theatre you could spend all day here. Which is what I have done in the past. There is something for everyone here. Sunrise mall is the North Star of Brownsville it doesn't get any better than that. I gave 5 stars to Sunrise Mall cause I can't think of any better place to get some shopping done in Brownsville. read more

Pretty good mall overall. Good variety of stores with nice atmosphere. There was recently some remodeling done on the floor and restrooms so that is a big improvement. Probably the best thing about this mall is that it contains a Cinemark movie theater. However, major hang out spot for teenagers so expect a lot of them walking around. read more
