I had no problem finding a spot. As with many Winners stores, there are displays when you first walk into them. I was pleased to enter this one, as it was -30°C outside with the windchill. I found a number of decent items. I got a bottle of OPI base coat and a pair of cozy pajama bottoms. The best part about shopping at Winners is that it has large shoe sizes for folks like me. I found a pair of Vans moccasin hi-top suede sneakers for $18. It originally was going for $50 and got reduced three times before I found them, tried them on, and said that they were meant to be. The store wasn't busy. There was one customer at the checkout before I went up there. The woman was friendly and cheerful. I love this Winners. I'm glad I finally visited it! (15)

I'm never a fan of big box sites, and this is no exception. The stores are simply not walkable to one another since the area is so big. Besides, does anyone even shop here? I've never seen the parking lot more than 20% full! What a waste of space. I do like the Empire Theatre though, but in terms of the design of this place...a huge step backwards in promoting environmental sustainability (and no, those sidewalk engravings don't do you any good).

This store is situation in an area full of box stores. It seems new. This Winners location is bright and spacious. I love Winners. Each store is different. I love this one even more. We visited the women's shoe section. I normally expect my friend to find plenty of shoe selections, as she wears a size 8. As for me, I automatically go with the thought that the selection of size 11 shoes will be flat out ugly and slim pickings for me. As fate would happen, I found a cool pair of purple Converse shoes. OMG! My friend was ecstatic for me! I love purple. I love Converse. I love size 11 shoes. I got all three in one lovely pair of shoes. Yay! Needless to say, I tried them on, fell in love with them, and bought them. I recommended Batiste dry shampoo to my friend the last time we met. She loves the product that she came back to Winners to get another can of it. Cool! The woman at the cash register was friendly and pleasant. I only needed one bag of almond flour. 4 cups to be exact. It was in my errand path, so although I was hesitant, I did it.  I placed my order for the ONE bag at 11:04 am. I just got back from that location. They had over THREE HOURS to grab one bag of almond flour. I walk in and there is a customer at the cash and a blonde female was checking out her order. There were two dark haired teens SITTING behind the counter playing on their phones. The girl finally gets up and I told her I had an online order. Everyone gets an 'oh crap' look on their face. I said, "It's one bag of almond flour and it has been three hours plus."  I got the standard excuses and blaming ME saying I should wait for a phone call. They had no idea about that order. I don't think that call would have ever come.  She then said, "It's been busy..." I said, "Oh really, while you're back there sitting and playing on your phones?" I'm DONE with this location. I will NEVER visit again. What crap customer service. The thing is that for the past few months, I've ordered at Weber and have never had this happen, not a single time. Lazy is what it is, and it's costing you customers and you should know about it. The kicker is that they knew it was one bag and what it was. None of the three offered to go get it. No one apologized. I told them I'll be sending another email to head office, as this is the 5th time at this location. No excuse whatsoever.  Good luck...with a staff like that you will need it. And I'm being sincere, not sarcastic.

Compared to the other local Walmarts around, this one is one of the most organized in terms of shelving and overall layout. It doesn't feel overly cluttered like the Walmart in ira needles for instance. Lines aren't long and they have 2 massive self checkout areas. Customer service isn't exceptional but typically nothing too bad. Fitting rooms are often out of service and there just might be one open and the surrounding area is often messy (clothes piled in carts, and the pyjamas are all over the place) but still functional. They also have a pretty solid international food isle with a lot of asian groceries I can't find at other classic grocers. They have a big selection of ramen! Yum!!

However, in these uncertain economic times, I think Walmart is a good place to shop. The selection isn't always perfect (for example, I can't always buy the specific peanut butter my wife likes), but the prices are fantastic (in fact they guarantee the lowest price and have a price match policy). The in-store McDonald's restaurant gives a nice place to stop and have a break. This local Supercentre store boasts a complete grocery section with everything from soup to nuts, meat to dairy, bakery to fresh produce, as well as a full-service deli. The quality of the items are not always the best, but when a pair of jeans are priced at only $10, I can't really complain, especially when you take into account their fairly liberal return and exchange policies. If you are looking to stretch your budget, and you are willing to make some compromises to get more savings, Walmart may just be the place you're looking for.
