That was 41 cents short of the minimum required, so the order would not go through. I called and spoke to the store manager and asked if they could waive the 41 cent shortage and was told absolutely not. I called Walmart and arranged a pickup order, for the same price, without any hassle. Then I called Walgreens corporate and explain the situation. Corporate told me that's the policy. It amazes me, that a company was such low ratings, refuses to bend at all for their customers.

There's an online portal but I wasn't able to log into it, nor would my results have been ready before my follow-up appointment. Fun fact: Sunflower's doctors have a non-profit called Fair and Fashionable that connects with younger adults about the dangers of skin tanning. It's really cool and modern with great messaging about skin care. In other words, it's an overall great experience and the staff really, REALLY cares about you. That's what makes Sunflower woerth coming back to.

I didn't ask any other questions because I assume it would be the same as every other clinic. Plus they already had my credit card or insurance information on file. Two days later, I was charged $150 for the visit, which is much more than I usually pay for a dermatology appointment + injection. When I checked the claim through my insurance, I saw that they billed over $700 for the whole visit, which is insane. Keep in mind that I was seen by a PA, not a doctor. In addition, my copay for the visit was supposed to be only $35. For reference I saw a dermatologist plus an injection at another clinic ON THE SAME DAY and i was charge $80 dollar for the whole visit and they billed my insurance $200 dollar. So yeah idk how are they charging my insurance extra 500 dollar but this is very crazy. Do not go here!!!!

It was the Summer that dreams were made of AND it was the beginning of my longing for golden brown, tanned skin. :( ...My Grandma warned me I would pay! Fast forward many years and the sun damage on my face began showing. SUN SPOTS! They have bothered me for the past few years and seemed to be getting worse even though I now slathered on the sun screen. Long story a little longer, recently, I discovered IPL treatments. I found Kathy and went for a consultation. She at the time she offered a discounted first-treatment on IPL so I was ready immediately and she got to work on me. The treatment began with ultrasound gel all over my face and continued with what can only be described as hot rubber band snaps and bright red lights to every inch of the gel mask (Really not unbearable, just very different and annoying). It ended with what felt like a bad sunburn that lasted the next few hours. After a week and a half of coffee ground-looking freckles, the damaged spots have fallen away and the sun spots are gone (after one treatment). Yay! I am sharing because it has made me sooooo happy, but also because I want others to know about it; know they don't have to live with the unsightly sun damage; know that it isn't outrageously expensive to correct AND so that anybody who has had this problem can be happy with me! IPL may not work for everyone, but I wanted to share because I love reading about how other people (though usually celebrities and bloggers) achieve amazing skin. Hope it helps someone anyway!
