The shop isn't incredibly posh but it is cute in its own right and does have personality. The reason I come here besides a good job and a fair price is the camaraderie between all of the staff here. Price - So the person who I see for my nails is Jessica she is a junior Tech and I only say that because she has worked in the industry for about a year. She does a great job and has affordable prices the only difference between her and other technicians is a little bit more time in the chair but when I'm enjoying myself I do not mind. Additionally Jessica is really great because she loves stamping which is something you don't encounter much and is not afraid to try new things even if she hasn't done that before. I get my gel fills done for 25. Mary has also done my hair and I was very impressed with how quick she was. I gave her a picture of a relaxed type of highlight and she was able to perfectly recreate it. Lastly there is no language barrier issues here! Parking- they have three spots which are owned by the salon but additionally this is in a strip mall so there's plenty of parking everywhere. Tip- Because this is a good salon, I don't see a lot of availability for walk-ins here but as long as you pre-book your appointment you are always guaranteed a spot.

Like they frequent the salon. Kelly was my technician and she was very friendly, kind, and we had a good conversation. She worked quickly while paying attention to detail making sure my nails were flawless. I told her what I wanted and she delivered! Light pink, black tip, pretty simple, but still! She spent a time making sure the nail tip matched my natural nail size, and a lot of time making sure the black tip was up to par. My nails look amazing! I can't stop looking at them. I opted for a hard gel nail extension over an acrylic manicure hoping it might last longer... so we'll see!

The leather has seen better days, and the massage feature was too aggressive for me, no matter which setting I used. It felt like rocks being rubbed on my back. The pedicure itself was fine, and my wife says it stands up to many she's had at other nail places. Compared to places I remember visiting with my mom as a kid/teen, it has a less harsh nail chemical smell, and I enjoyed the relaxing environment. The technicians spoke to each other very quietly. I always remember loud talking and yelling across the room at nail salons when I was young. Overall, I don't have much to compare it to, but Diamond Nails offered a positive pedicure experience, and I would return.

I've worked in ski clinics that are cleaner. The provider misdiagnosed my son's skin bumps as warts and was ready to freeze dozens of spots. A second opinion found them to be caused by eczema and his skin was cleared completely with non invasive treatment. I've heard several horror stories of skin samples being tossed in the trash, instead of being sent for biopsy and the list goes on. It's so unfortunate that Tahoe doesn't have better dermatology care!
