Costa Rica itself was absolutely beautiful, and the itinerary included some great destinations like Arenal, Tamarindo, Monteverde, and San José. Once everything was in place, the trip itself was very enjoyable and memorable. We did experience some challenges leading up to and during the trip, particularly with communication and some logistical issues around accommodations and reimbursements. That part of the process was stressful, and communication at times was more difficult than we would have liked. That said, I do want to acknowledge that Cody genuinely tried his best throughout the process, and once Danielle became involved, everything was handled professionally and thoroughly. Danielle ultimately sorted out the reimbursement issue, followed through on what was promised, and helped bring the situation to a fair resolution. We truly appreciated her stepping in and taking the time to resolve things properly. While the communication could have been smoother overall, we're grateful that Travel by Jen stood by their commitment in the end. The rest of our trip went very well, and Costa Rica was an amazing destination. Thank you to Cody and especially Danielle for ensuring the issue was resolved.

I booked and paid in full on September 22, 2025 for a Costa Rica trip for four people, including two ocean-view rooms at Hotel Costa Verde. When I arrived in Costa Rica on November 22, 2025, the hotel informed me at the front desk that no reservation existed under my name. The hotel explained that my reservation had been cancelled due to non-payment by Travel by Jen, despite the fact that I had already paid the agency in full. As a result, the two ocean-view rooms I reserved were no longer available, and I was forced to pay out of pocket upon arrival--a very unpleasant way to start a vacation. The front desk staff also stated that they have ongoing issues with Travel by Jen related to non-payment and indicated the agency allegedly owed "tens of thousands of dollars." Based on my experience, once Travel by Jen has your money, they are extremely difficult to deal with, and their failure to pay vendors can directly impact travelers. I strongly recommend exercising caution before booking with this agency.

During one of our trips, a flight was cancelled and they reached out immediately to get us re-booked and told us if we had any costs because of it to use our trip insurance(which we had) would reimburse us and they did! The packages are pretty fantastic! In Iceland we did so many adventures that we may not have booked on our own. They make it so easy to see so much, if you want, or not!!! If I tried to book flights, hotel, and airport/hotel transfers myself, it would have been way more! Second, the hotel and airport/hotel transfer was amazing! I even called customer support the day before our flight home because I was unsure when our airport transfer would be getting us from the hotel. I wasn't on hold for more than 15 minutes, which was amazing as I didn't want to waste my last day of vacation on hold. Likewise, they told me they would call the hotel back and leave a message for us when they figured out what time our transfer would be getting us. Sure enough, when we got back to the hotel later that evening, there was a message telling us exactly what time to be in the lobby and who/what car to look/wait for for our earlyyyy morning transfer! Last, I love how great value vacations gives you ideas of what to do each day in your destination. Overall, Malta was the perfect honeymoon destination that had European charm and the romantic beachy feel, and Great Value Vacations made it so easy to book and enjoy our honeymoon at a great price!
