Beautiful store with many oils and vinegars to sample. The owner welcomed us in and she was very friendly. We tried a few and they were so fragrant. I loved the sesame oil. Beautiful dark color, deep sesame taste and smell. She bottled our purchases carefully knowing we would be flying home. Great little shop!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I was welcomed into the store and encouraged to sample as much as I liked. You can sample straight from small tasting cups, or with small pieces of bread on a toothpick. The different combinations were interesting and all over the spectrum. My favourite is the "aged black mission fig dark balsamic" with Tuscan olive oil. They'll pack up your purchase as a gift or ship to you. Even order online. Very professional operation but still feels cozy and inviting there.

Google Gibson and Sunshine Coast Olive Oil shows up. Purchased the blueberry balsamic Vinegar and its was really good. Well goof for dipping bread. The place is small but they can explain how they come about (history). their best selling vinegar or Olive Oil. They can tell you what makes a good combination. They have a pamphlet for that. I personally like this place. Also you get to sample before purchasing

The bars come as milk or dark chocolate with dried fruits and nuts pressed into them or just nuts or biscuit pearls or are sprinkled with sea salt. As someone who cannot digest dairy, it was wonderful to see that the dark chocolate bars are vegan and contain no dairy. We also had a chance to chat with the friendly owner and it was a great experience. A few weeks ago we visited Squamish again and were happy to see that the chocolate bars still look amazing. We bought a bunch of bars and now have a decent stash to last for a while and to give as gifts. Though it's hard to moderate when the bars taste so good. Thank you, Xoco Chocolate!

The dark chocolate bars with roasted nuts and dried fruits is one of favorites. The quality of the dark chocolate is very good and the bars taste as good as they look. The dark chocolate is vegan. It's a cute shop and the owner and staff are great. They also have milk chocolate bars and beautiful chocolate confections. We're dark chocolate fans so we haven't tried them. We stop every time we're up that way.

Special shout-out to the heavenly cheese selection and the cute and clean premises. They also have an Italian pork jowl that I can't find anywhere else in town. Considering the rising price of eating out (and junk food), I will get myself some fancy treats here every week instead.

We got a LOT of stuff there, including crackers, pate, cheeses, jams, and a bunch of other items, all of which sort of flatlined. Now, in McLean's defense, the pate and cheeses were the only things they brought in specifically under their name. And the place was EXTREMELY cute, and they served sandwiches, and the owner was friendly and on premesis, and they'd let you bring wine if you wanted... ...but really, everything flatlined. The fig crackers tasted like prunes. The sheep's brie was overly strong in flavor, almost off-tasting. The porter cheddar tasted like...plain cheddar. The pate was bland. One standout was a cheese (I forget the name) which had a line of gorgonzola down the centre. Really, of everything we bought, this is the only thing I'd consider re-purchasing. Now I don't want to rule this place out based on one trip, but it *was* expensive (some of the crackers and jams were way over-priced) and I *was* disappointed, considering how it's touted around town as being wonderful. I like to support local businesses, so I will be back to purchase a significantly smaller portion of cheese. Till then...
