She cleaned the home fine, but things quickly took a turn from there. Our main issue with Adrianna was the lack of communication and overall inconsistency of when she would show up to clean. Adrianna completely stopped responding to our communication after a specific cleaning. One of the carpets had makeup smeared into it, and Adrianna cleaned it and said she usually charges extra, but didn't want us to foot the bill. However, if this was her gripe, she could've easily communicated that to us and we would have compensated her fairly, as we always did. We were unable to determine why communication stopped. We arranged to have some minor errands done for us, which we paid Adrianna for but were never completed. A large box of linens and pillows was removed from the property by Adrianna, who stated they were "unusable." Despite multiple requests, these items have not been returned. She never showed up for her final clean and we had to find someone last minute to continue operations, which caused us a lot of undue stress and anxiety. Adrianna's phone was also often turned off, the battery was dead, or she claimed that certain texts or images never came through. Because we can no longer get in touch with her, despite repeated attempts, we are currently taking action to recoup the lost inventory that she removed from our home. We fully agree with the other low rating she has received and were very disappointed by our experience with Adrianna's Cleaning Services. We do not recommend her to anyone seeking reliable cleaning services as we feel she was not the person she said she was. While we understand that accidents happen, Adrianna cleaned out her mop in the kitchen sink and a day later, the guest messaged us saying the sink was completely clogged. We ended up having to call an emergency handyman, and he found a small piece of plastic. The guest left us a low rating, which has hurt our business. Overall, Adrianna over-promised and under-delivered. We really expected more from someone who claimed to take so much pride in her work and was a "3rd generation cleaner." Please take caution when considering working with this individual.

We scheduled for a different day, but she cancelled because she was sick. With two cancellations by Adrianna, I left town and demanded my deposit back as I went with a service who could actually do the job. At first Adrianna declined to refund claiming it was somehow my fault, then she agreed. However, 3 weeks later, she has still failed to refund the deposit and she has now ghosted me. Unless you want to get ripped off, stay away from Adrianna and her husband's company, A Lion Under The Sun Pool and Spa Services

If I owned rental property in the desert, I would not hesitate not use Desert Queen. I have owned both vacation and long term rental properties for many years, and wish I could find someone as professional as Desert Queen to manage them.

Desert Queen Property Care is a fairly new business so there are not a lot of reviews on them as of…read moreyet. One of the co-owners, Jaime Queen used to work at Marr Realty before splitting off and starting Desert Queen. I do not currently rent property from Desert Queen but my in-laws, who are senior citizens, do and it has been difficult dealing with Desert Queen. To start off, they don't have a brick and mortar office that you can go to. Of course, I did find an address in Joshua Tree which I suspect is probably a residential address. Other than that, they have a PO box that rent checks get sent to and the only way to get a hold of them is by phone. My in-laws have a messed up garbage disposal that they called about a couple of months ago but that issue was never resolved. They had another issue involving the garage door which took about a month to even schedule a time for someone to come out and fix. Jaime doesn't call back in a timely manner nor does any follow up calls to make sure things get done. She doesn't take the time to understand what someone is trying to say and it does not help that she has a bad attitude. She lacks customer service skills and is not tactful or polite. If I was a property owner and all I wanted to do was collect checks, then Desert Queen would be the perfect choice. They will get that money for you. As for caring for property and making sure tenants have the basic needs such as security and working appliances, extremely lacking. I understand they are a new business and with all new businesses, things are rocky from the start. I do hope that they get better because that's what everyone wants. For now, I stand by my review but I am open to amending it should I see progress.
