Lately I had been going to the Clermont location because of availability. The only place to new address was listed was in a text message reminding me of the appointment and I missed it. On the website they still have the old address listed but they were easy to find because they are in the same complex. I inform them of the error and hopefully they will fix it soon. As for seeing the doctor I have been very happy with the service I have received from the doctor himself and all the support staff. I met someone new working the front counter on my visit who answered the phone when I called in the morning to make sure that I was having an in-person appointment and not telemedicine. She was very helpful answering phones while also working the front counter and handling patients on the way out. Everything moved very smoothly and it was the busiest I have seen one of their offices on any visit. My doctor has always listened to what I had to say and explain things very efficiently for my treatments.

I have been very happy with their services and have had totally positive experiences. I had some kidney issues a few years back and they got me straightened out fairly quickly. Because of my diabetes and a couple other problems I ran into some issues a couple months back and have been in once a month or so since. Today my kidneys have bounced back to better than they were over a year ago. The combination of different doctors I am currently seeing have been working together and keeping me alive. Dr. Bao Huynh has been great at communicating with me and keeping me up to date on test results. He explains things so I can easily understand what is going on. If you are in need of a nephrologist this is a good choice for anyone.

Dr. Zelaya is a nephrologist and an internist and Dr. Karovska (Dr. Ana) is an internist. I see Dr. Ana and my hubby sees Dr. Zelaya. It was hard finding a new doctor when we moved to the area, but this practice is my favorite regular doctor I've ever had. So glad we found them. They have 2 locations - their old one in Leesburg and a brand new office in Wildwood, off of 44. It's easy to make appointments and they're very good about making sure you keep up with annual physicals and preventative care. When you call, a person actually answers the phone, and they're also good about getting pre-authorizations to your pharmacy, etc. I rarely have to chase them down to get things done. They are both patient focused and just wonderful doctors and people. The whole staff is great. If you are looking for a great primary care team or need a knowledgeable nephrologist (Dr. Zelaya) - look no further.

She has posters for your fridge and she'll post on one side how many grams of protein allowed daily, plus on other side how much sodium grams allowed daily. Too much salt (sodium) can cause liquid to build up in your tissues, especially in your feet and legs. Too many grams of protein can build up in your blood stream and you may need dialysis after that happens, if it does happen. She'll talk about diets. I follow a strict amount of water diet. I follow a strict renal diet then I don't have to worry about what I eat, how much of this or that. Her care is excellent and if labs are abnormal, she calls me right away. Same thing with ultrasounts, CT scans, mri's. She'wants to make sure you know that she's up to date with all abnormal results and may request follow up tests. In CA my nephrologist didn't do updated results. My nephrologist was also my PCP. He never did follow ups. I gave away my last poster or I'd show it to you. That poster went to a very old friend of mine. She died 2 months ago because her doctor didn't like the diet I was on. There are also new FDA drugs and I'm on one of those drugs. Farxiga, made by Astrazeneca. Apply for their grant so you don't have to pay for it out of pocket. Am not on the drug list in 2025. Am hoping the Farxiga will be lowered in 2025 so I can afford it.

That was pretty fast considering that they were a little backed up because of the holidays . The appt was confirmed a couple of days before the appt was due. When I arrived to the office I was greeted with a nice smile by the office staff and felt welcomed right from the start. Only had to wait a few minutes and was called in by the nurse who was also very nice. The nurse did initial weigh in and b/p and asked a few questions . She was very nice . Did not have to wait for Dr Reddy but a couple of minutes after nurse left the room. Dr Reddy my new Kidney doctor was very nice . After my exam and telling me about my labs I did with her office , She went over all my previous test that I had done with the primary and also went over what is going on with my situation. By the time I left her office I was very well educated on my condition and left the office stress free. Everything was explained to me so clearly and now I can do what they tell me to do and know that I am on track to getting better . I will do my diet and my bloodwork and I'll see her in 6 weeks to see how things are looking . She is very optimistic that she and I can get my numbers back to where they need to be . Food & Nutrition: The meals were consistently good, and my mom never had a single complaint about the food. In fact, she regained the weight she had lost during a prior illness, and we noticed improvements in her cognitive function that we attribute to better nutrition. For that, I truly give them credit. Staff: Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, professional, and caring. We never had issues with the people working directly with residents, and that's something we appreciated throughout her stay. Activities: This is where things start to fall short. While our family absolutely loved the activity director as a person--she is warm, dedicated, and clearly cares deeply about the residents--the activity program itself is lacking in both quantity and quality compared to other facilities we toured. Part of the issue seems to be that whenever the facility is short-staffed (for example, going over a month without a housekeeper or maintenance person), the activity director is pulled into those roles. While this shows her commitment, it also makes it clear that activities are not a priority here. If you're looking for a robust, engaging activity schedule to keep your loved one stimulated, this may not be the right fit. Safety Concerns (Major Issue): Our biggest and most serious concern is the facility's lack of functioning safety equipment--paired with the fact that they promote these features during tours despite them not working. During our tour, the director highlighted the motion detector in the room, explaining that staff would be alerted if a resident was up at night. This was a major selling point for us because our mom had previously fallen during the night. She also emphasized the safety lighting around the bathroom door and over the toilet. On move-in day, we were told a safety bracelet had been ordered to alert staff if she exited the building. None of these systems ever worked. The motion detector never functioned. The bracelet never arrived. The bathroom safety lights worked inconsistently at best. The emergency call cord--something standard in medical facilities--also failed because it was connected to the same malfunctioning server. As a result, our mom managed to exit the facility, something that likely wouldn't have happened if the bracelet had been provided. She also had two nighttime falls in the bathroom when the safety light wasn't working, and both times the emergency cord failed to alert staff. Despite all this, the facility remains "in compliance" because they can show a submitted work order. My mom was there for three months, and none of these issues were resolved--or even given a realistic timeline for repair. The Wellness Director even told me she had never seen the equipment functioning during her entire employment. Overall: While the staff is kind and the food is solid, the lack of functioning safety equipment is unacceptable, especially in a memory care or assisted living environment where residents rely on these systems for their well-being. The activity program also needs significant improvement. I hope the facility addresses these issues, but based on our experience, I cannot recommend Serenades for families prioritizing safety and engagement.

It feels a little like the game of telephone, the info is interpreted by others before it gets to md. If they don't have a responsible system of communication there a lot of room for error. If I can't trust the messages I leave are received and or followed up on errors occur. Contact isn't followed through on and I ended being charged for appointments that were previously cancelled. Like having too many cooks in the kitchen. If you can deal with that my belief is Nitza is an excellent cardiologist.
