Lately I had been going to the Clermont location because of availability. The only place to new address was listed was in a text message reminding me of the appointment and I missed it. On the website they still have the old address listed but they were easy to find because they are in the same complex. I inform them of the error and hopefully they will fix it soon. As for seeing the doctor I have been very happy with the service I have received from the doctor himself and all the support staff. I met someone new working the front counter on my visit who answered the phone when I called in the morning to make sure that I was having an in-person appointment and not telemedicine. She was very helpful answering phones while also working the front counter and handling patients on the way out. Everything moved very smoothly and it was the busiest I have seen one of their offices on any visit. My doctor has always listened to what I had to say and explain things very efficiently for my treatments.

Patient abandonment. does not provide treatment for serious kidney cases. Permissive with fatal staff misconduct such as handling appointments personally regardless of the seriousness of the case. They do not give access to communication by phone. The staff lacks total sensitivity. There are many responsible nephrologists to select in place of this doctor. Many people complain at the counter for lack of communication. Serius issues!

My husband had surgery Dec 8, 2016. Before going in he had been having very high blood pressure, had several episodes of kidney stones, was in chronic pain especially his heels, knees, elbows & wrists, he battled chronic fatigue, sleep apnea, heart burn & extreme moodiness. Up to being on the stretcher going into surgery I requested pillows to help prop up his knees & lay across his lap to rest his hands on to try to make him more comfortable which he still was NOT. After going back to prep for surgery, have surgery & wake up in recovery approx an hour my husband was in better mood! He had his IV out & was talking. I asked him if he needed his pillows back & he said he was fine & wasn't hurting at all. When discharged a couple hrs later he was ready to eat! We went back to the hotel by shuttle & ate in their restaurant. He ate mild hot wings, blacked fish & seasoned veggies with lemonade to drink. Fasting for surgery and being about 4 pm (this is food & drink he generally can't tolerate on a normal day!!!) I was surprised he did well. When we got back to the room we played a full game of rummy with him wide awake (out of character with his usual preference to nap without being in surgery). After the game of cards he wanted Pizza so I ordered a pepperoni Pizza with great warning! But he tolerated it!!! That night he tried to get us up & on the road to head back to the Panhandle of Florida which took us 6 hrs to get there due to road construction & heavy steady traffic. When we got home he proceeded to go out to work in his garage! He has surgery less than 24 hrs ago. He has so much energy compared to before. He (we) now sleep all through the night without to 10-20 episodes of apnea that waked us up before each night. His blood pressure is now within normal limits & NO MORE bone & joint pain. He had a small growing lesion above his left eye lid for a solid year BUT it disappeared. I am hopeful he won't have anymore kidney stones. My happy, friendly husband is back! He had been missing for 12-14 yrs! This group of persons that work there were all extremely kind & informative. They answered questions I did not think of yet. The doctors are extremely confident about their knowledge & surgery of the Parathyrold. While we were there waiting for him to come from surgery we met people from New York and out West. One had previous surgery at a Mayo clinic but they were not complete in their surgery & she needed another so they referred her there. I am so THANKFUL for their practice & expertise! Worth the surgery!!!!!

I have been very happy with their services and have had totally positive experiences. I had some kidney issues a few years back and they got me straightened out fairly quickly. Because of my diabetes and a couple other problems I ran into some issues a couple months back and have been in once a month or so since. Today my kidneys have bounced back to better than they were over a year ago. The combination of different doctors I am currently seeing have been working together and keeping me alive. Dr. Bao Huynh has been great at communicating with me and keeping me up to date on test results. He explains things so I can easily understand what is going on. If you are in need of a nephrologist this is a good choice for anyone.

She also likes to hear about patients newest meds. She has posters for your fridge and she'll post on one side how many grams of protein allowed daily, plus on other side how much sodium grams allowed daily. Too much salt (sodium) can cause liquid to build up in your tissues, especially in your feet and legs. Too many grams of protein can build up in your blood stream and you may need dialysis after that happens, if it does happen. She'll talk about diets. I follow a strict amount of water diet. I follow a strict renal diet then I don't have to worry about what I eat, how much of this or that. Her care is excellent and if labs are abnormal, she calls me right away. Same thing with ultrasounts, CT scans, mri's. She'wants to make sure you know that she's up to date with all abnormal results and may request follow up tests. In CA my nephrologist didn't do updated results. My nephrologist was also my PCP. He never did follow ups. I gave away my last poster or I'd show it to you. That poster went to a very old friend of mine. She died 2 months ago because her doctor didn't like the diet I was on. There are also new FDA drugs and I'm on one of those drugs. Farxiga, made by Astrazeneca. Apply for their grant so you don't have to pay for it out of pocket. Am not on the drug list in 2025. Am hoping the Farxiga will be lowered in 2025 so I can afford it.

That was pretty fast considering that they were a little backed up because of the holidays . The appt was confirmed a couple of days before the appt was due. When I arrived to the office I was greeted with a nice smile by the office staff and felt welcomed right from the start. Only had to wait a few minutes and was called in by the nurse who was also very nice. The nurse did initial weigh in and b/p and asked a few questions . She was very nice . Did not have to wait for Dr Reddy but a couple of minutes after nurse left the room. Dr Reddy my new Kidney doctor was very nice . After my exam and telling me about my labs I did with her office , She went over all my previous test that I had done with the primary and also went over what is going on with my situation. By the time I left her office I was very well educated on my condition and left the office stress free. Everything was explained to me so clearly and now I can do what they tell me to do and know that I am on track to getting better . I will do my diet and my bloodwork and I'll see her in 6 weeks to see how things are looking . She is very optimistic that she and I can get my numbers back to where they need to be . I have discussed with them how awful this is for sufferers of asthma and other conditions. That it can literally cause me to have an asthma attack. They did not care while I was there. I wrote to the office manager an I am attaching their reply. Not only is it bad for those with health issues but it is bad for everyone. So many toxins in them and even if that wasn't the case for everyone, if it is a known irritant and health issue for those with certain conditions, I am not sure why they would continue to use them especially after there have been complains. He genuinely cares about the welfare of his patients, you are not just dollar signs to him. Every time I have been hospitalized Dr. Latif has visited me in the hospital even if he was not the doctor that admitted me. He gave my mom his cell phone number so she could contact him with concerns regarding my health, and he patiently explained everything to her and answered all her questions. Veterans who served this country deserved continuity of care and transparency, not sudden disruption and uncertainty. Many patients had established relationships with their doctors for years, only to find themselves scrambling to locate new providers and navigate insurance confusion during an already stressful transition. What makes this even more frustrating is that public statements during the sale process suggested patients would continue to have access to their insurance coverage under the new ownership structure. Yet many patients later experienced uncertainty or loss of access depending on their plan participation and contract negotiations. The bankruptcy itself was tied to massive Medicare billing discrepancies reportedly totaling hundreds of millions of dollars. Unfortunately, it feels like the people who paid the price were the patients -- particularly seniors and veterans who depended on stable healthcare access.
