We had a great NYE that started with a Christmas lights tour from Sunshine Limo! We are new to Eugene so didn't know of any NYE events. I stumbled upon the lights tour and talked to someone who was very helpful with information, costs, and options. Communication with the company was great from the time I made the reservation until we were picked up. Ian was our fantastic driver who picked us up on time and with chocolates . We started on the west side of Eugene in the hills, to the east, and then dropped off at the restaurant where we had dinner reservations. Ian made several stops to take pics of us and drove thru many neighborhoods with beautiful displays. We loved talking to him and hope he enjoys his upcoming Wyoming trip! I needed a limo service to take my GF around town to experience some designed adventures that culminated in a proposal. I thought about renting an SUV or something more like a regular vehicle, but I wanted something that would stand out. Sunshine certainly delivered and with the exception of a couple minor items of note, then knocked it out of the park. I've never rented a limo before, so after looking over their website, I gave them a call for more information. The woman I spoke to was very polite and helpful even though I wasn't ready to book that day and needed an idea of the costs and features. She was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions (although I forgot to ask a couple). I needed a limo for 3 hours. It came to $381. The limo was $100/hr, but the tip for the driver is built into the price quote and based on where you are driving, gas and such is added in, too. I ended up selecting the 10 person limo for 3 people so there would be plenty of room. The limos come with glasses, water, and I believe some soda (I didn't get into the limo, but I did watch a FB livestream of them inside, so I got to see what it looked like). There was more than enough room for 3 people, but 10 would be VERY close together, in my opinion. The driver (his name was Chris) was on time and called me as he was leaving the limo business so I had a heads up to get everyone ready. He patiently waited outside, wore a nice suit, and was very professional. He was helpful on the phone when I spoke to him the day before about the plan and thanks to the livestream I saw he was polite and professional while performing his work. The limo looked clean inside and out and I was able to see the people I sent on adventures had a good time in the limo. The driver stayed close by and was ready to get them the second they popped their heads out to be taken to their next destination. The only very minor things I would say was that I forgot a couple questions after I initially called and I endes up emailing the company via their website rather than call back. I did not get a reply. Definitely call if you have questions. You will get them answered. Beyond that, I had to call the day before the event so talk to the driver -- I was told he was going to call me, but by 5pm I wasn't sure, so I called so I could get in touch with him. Beyond that, the experience was excellent! I would absolutely use Sunshine again the next time I need a limo in the Eugene area! read more

I've never personally used this service but having worked with many of the drivers in the past while working within the wine industry I cannot say that I have ever had a positive experience with this tour group. Today my partner and I were driving home to Portland, leaving Eugene when their white limo, plates "Sun 13", honked at us repeatedly while we and others waited for a police cruiser whose lights and sirens were on to pass us getting onto the interstate. The driver then proceeded to speed up and pass us on the right, all the while swerving dangerously between all three lanes. I understand COVID-19 has put several different stresses on every business within the service industry but reckless behavior is inexcusable. Do better. read more

For my daughter's college Graduation procession, I rented the really nice Mercedes Benz, 14 pax, Sprinter Limo Van. What I got was a very old former school bus with ripped seats and bad suspension (don't let the online photos fool you). No reason was given at the time of arrival. When I contacted the owner post-event, I was given several different excuses. Veronica, the driver, was fabulous and joined in our celebration (cheering with us, dealt with the procession instructions, and our loud music). They checked in to let me know they were there early, treated her wonderfully and even helped her with check in and getting her bags to her room as she was not capable. We booked with Sunshine Limo secure again because they are prompt, courteous and have beautiful vehicles. We rented the 15 passenger black Mercedes van forward facing seats. There are some who get car sick so this was a great option! The traditional limos are awkward to get out of especially if you're wearing a dress or very tall. We loved this bus and Scott our driver did a great job. We purchased the catered lunches too plus cheese and meat platters. Everything was set out for us and then packed away for us. Very nice. Let's you relax and enjoy the wine tour we went on. The provided cold water in an ice chest as well. We had the use of their WiFi to use our music. Horrendous lack of concern for customer service. They never showed for our airport transfer and we nearly missed our flight after scrambling to make alternative arrangements. My credit card was charged $126.60 in advance the day before (no problem.). I was sent a text message by the company at 3:14 in the morning stating that my driver Garrett was scheduled to arrive on time, and the message gave Garrett's phone number. 15 minutes after his expected arrival we tried to phone him and text him but never got a response. 45 minutes past the expected arrival time we tried to call the office but got voicemail. We scrambled to make other arrangements to get to the airport and barely arrived at the airport in time for the flight. I left a message with the office of Sunshine Limo to please call me but no one ever did. I got an email NINE HOURS LATER notifying me that the charge was refunded but there was never an apology or explanation. UPDATE: Within two hours of posting this review, Marian from Sunshine called and left me a message to call her back. Note that her call was made over TEN HOURS AFTER we were left to scramble for another way to the airport after pre-paying $126.60 for a ride to the airport. read more

Overall I had an okay experience with Sunshine Limo Service. I broke down my experience into a few categories: Booking: I found it easy to book the limo and the staff in the office was very friendly. I received several emails ahead of time helping me feel prepared. I also received a text the morning of the event with the driver's name and number. Limo: our limo had a power failure. We wine tasted on a 100 degree day and with no AC in half the limo- it made things pretty uncomfortable. Mike from Sunshine did call me the day before to give me other options (reschedule or receive a full refund). I didn't find those acceptable options as we had out of town guests that were here to wine taste. I received a significant discount so that was nice. I still paid $500 for a very hot limo. Driver: our driver (Bob) was rude and not helpful. He was sold as someone that could help us set up our lunch and provide guidance on wine related topics. He did not do either of those things. His attire left a lot to be desired and he did not interact with us at all. He didn't help set up our food and told each tasting room we went to that we were in a hurry. We felt rushed the whole time and did not enjoy Bob. Overall, even with the AC working it would not have been worth $950 for the day. Totally over priced for what we got. The staff was nice so that is what got them a 3 star review. read more

We booked a limousine through Sunshine and had an outstanding experience. Our driver was smart, professional, considerate and very helpful. The limo itself was magnificent. It was clean and comfortable- I couldn't imagine a better limousine. It came fully stocked with drinks and glasses (and some good champagne!). With the help of our own headphone-to-aux cord we were able to hook up our iPod to the fantastic sound system. The backbone of their service is excellent. They called the wineries to make appointments for us, which resulted in some special treatment at the tasting rooms! They sent out invoices every time a change was made, or something was updated. I shopped around and went with Sunshine because they did have better prices and better looking vehicles. We ended up going an extra hour, but not without ample warning from our driver. Even then, the price was very reasonable and way better than anyone else in the area (we were meeting in Corvallis so I looked at limo companies in Corvallis, Salem & Eugene). Today (two weeks later) I received a personal thank you note & magnets with our group picture on them, which just shows that they understand good service and that little things make all the difference. read more

With Sunshine, we had a list of places we heard were good, and Marryn provided feedback and suggestions and helped us narrow it down and schedule it most efficiently. We didn't have any problems with the wineries having our reservation, and our awesome driver Denny kept us on schedule.
