The line was all the way into the lobby. And there was also a long wait for the ATM. I think it was that way because it was Payday Friday for the government. Even though the line was long it took about 20 minutes to get to the teller. That's why I'd I can do things online then that's what I do. I pulled up and utilized the drive thru. Pulled up to the drive up ATM and started my transaction. The ATM had the tap feature...that didn't work. I had to insert my card and go through the motions. Enter my pin, tap on the screen a few times, and then I'm at a standstill. It appears now, that if you don't have an account with PNC, you can't make deposits now. Or, at least at this branch. It shouldn't matter what bank you have, you should be able to make a deposit anywhere. Money is money and I am sure it is easy to transfer funds. But I was frustrated at this point and canceled my transaction and drove off to find a place that will allow a deposit.

I have been a customer of BoA for about 15 years, mostly at this location since it is close to my…read morework, but I have decided that the next time I go in, I'm closing my accounts. The biggest problem I had was about a year ago. I decided to have my tax refund routed directly to my bank account. I went in to this location and got my account number and sent it off with my tax forms. I got a message back from the comptroller that they were unable to deposit my refund because of invalid account information. I verified my copies that had the paper with my account number stapled to it to ensure I did not make any errors. I hadn't. Went back into the bank and asked to speak with the teller who assisted me. I was told she was not in. I explained my problem to this teller and she walked into the back for a few minutes. She came back out and said very casually "Here's your correct number. And she apologizes for giving you the wrong number." First, I should hope you would apologize for giving me inaccurate info that screwed me over for a few weeks and caused me extra work to try to get my refund back. (It finally came by a check in the mail, because too many blocks were put up on my refund apparently due to the wrong info.) Second, it would have been nice if the lady who made the error would have apologized and assisted me (since she apparently was in) and not have me pushed off on someone else. The service is always slow here and the tellers are frequently changing. What annoys me to no end and it happens almost every single time I come in (I'm not exaggerating) is the teller will always leave the counter to assist vehicles that pull up in the drive thru. Why, BoA, why? I've been waiting patiently in line inside for around 5-8 minutes now....why are you prioritizing the customer who just pulled up in their car, has experienced zero wait at this point and couldn't be bothered to walk in??? Is my banking transaction less important to you that you feel you can just take people out of turn? I did mention this to a teller one time. I got a basic response about how they provide services in many ways and they have to promptly greet the drive thru people and that I could bypass the line in house by using online banking from home. Because apparently my home computer can spit out money when I need a few bucks and I can push my checks in there for deposits, too. Sheesh. Haven't determined which bank I will shift my money to yet (because it seems every bank has horror stories from unhappy people) but I can't keep coming to this BoA location and having the "expectation bar" set at their ankles and still having them trip up every time.
