On the bright side, the door locks and the water is hot. The downside is the place is tired, the mattresses aren't soft.

Rooms were VERY unclean, specifically the bathrooms. No bugs though so 2 stars. Staff was friendly. Really wish this place was better kept.

Nice staff, average rooms, A/C barely worked in our room. Was pet friendly. Not a good breakfast selection.

Stopped here on our way from our home in Idaho to see our son and his fiancée in Durango, CO. It is…read morelocated just off the 6 directly on our route, so very convenient. It is a two story building with no elevator, which I was aware of. Still, this 68-year-old man dragging two suitcases and a cooler up the stairs gave me some exercise, though we chose the second floor. Adequate free parking. There is an indoor pool to the right as you enter the hotel, with the front desk to the left. There is a "sports bar"(more on that later) and a "steakhouse" on the premises. A very nice young woman checked us in, though it took longer than usual, I think due to their slow computer system. At any rate, I had to run to the bathroom and leave the final steps to my wife. The room was clean, which was most important. Beds weren't very comfortable, but they provide plenty of pillows. Bathroom and shower were small. Shower pressure was so-so. Bathroom fan was great. AC worked fine. Mini fridge and blow dryer provided. There were a lot of families attending sporting events also staying at the hotel. A lot of the kids were roaming free and making noise. We were concerned. However, we were not disturbed at night. We did go to the sports bar for dinner. This was a fairly small room with a bar and stools, some high tables, a few pool tables, and two or three TVs. They had few beers on tap, it appeared mostly domestic, but the very nice young female bartender offered a nice IPA in a can. Hotel guests get $5 off the burgers, which are hand-pressed and very good, and it comes with a side, for a total of $11. The fries and sweet potato fries were average, kind of soggy, and I like them crispy. The food all comes from the "steakhouse" next door, which doubles as the location of the complimentary breakfast, which is the usual scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, coffee, juices, and some other choices. Not bad. All in all, this hotel fulfilled our need for a stopover on our way to see our son. At $200 a night, just an OK value.

Found out we couldn't check in because computer system was down. About 30 min sitting in the lobby, we were told ok to check in. When we started checking in we were told that they didn't have any pet rooms so I couldn't stay there with a pet. I said the reservation has already been paid and has been paid as a pet room since it required extra on the website. They said they couldn't do anything. I stood there until something was done. The manager did NOT seem to care but they "agreed" to put us up in a 2nd level room (of note, no elevators here either). I don't know why they said there were no pet rooms and then all of the sudden did. I mean...maybe it's because it looked like this (see pics) and no one had cleaned it? Anyway stay away from this place.

Some of the exercise equipment (by the pool) were inoperable. The nearby Tangarine was quite nice, and you get a 15% discount if you are staying at the hotel. The location of this motel is perfect for visiting Price - close to everything. I was surprised to see reviews saying the staff was unfriendly and uncaring. Everyone we saw or spoke with were very friendly and immediately helpful. Yes, we did have a $100 hold on our credit card, but it was immediately removed. This is common at lots of motels We will probably stay there again when we visit Price.

However the cleaning service and customer service were disgustingly horrible. The first morning as we left for the day the cleaning lady was walking by and asked if we wanted it cleaned. We politely said just some clean towels would suffice. We came back in the evening and while she did leave clean towels she took my toothbrush which was sitting on a hand towel on the bathroom sink. She possible just grabbed the towel thinking it was dirty but it left me without a toothbrush in a town that closes at dusk pretty much. When I let the front desk know the next morning. She really didn't care. The fast forward to our last morning and we got up early to head out for an early flight and I accidentally left my Apple Watch charging. I didn't see it because I had to plug it in and leave it on the floor next the the cabinet as it was the only available outlet. I don't realize it until I got to the airport which was well before 10am and before the cleaning service would have entered. I called rhe front desk and explained and asked if she could grab it and mail it to me. I'd be happy to pay the shipping. She quickly replied and said no we don't do that here. I asked for a manager. She quickly said no. We don't have one until Tuesday. I asked if she could go grab it from the room before it disappeared and place it in a drawer for me until I speak with a manager. She said no but maybe the cleaning people will grab it later. UNPROFESSONAL AND NOT A CARE IN THE WORLD. I will be calling Tuesday to report Ronnie to the manager and I really hope they can make accommodations to get my property back to me. I am out of state so I simply can't drive by to pick it up. I am willing to pay the shipping.

It also appeared that the sheets had not been changed as there was animal hair on them. The 2nd room was a little better. I happened to look under the bed for my pet after we came back from dinner. What I saw under the bed was massive amounts of animal hair and other stuff..... dirty socks, ear plugs, underwear, etc. GROSS! No wonder the room smelled so badly! I would have left right then and there, however, it was already dark. We traveled all day and were tired. We had already paid and they had my pet deposit which we were afraid we wouldn't get back. WARNING: DO NOT CHECKIN AND PAY UNTIL YOU REQUEST TO CHECKOUT TGE ROOM! If filth under the beds doesn't bother you, then go for it. I held off writing this review because I wrote a letter to the Gen Mgr explaining the room problems. Offered economical solutions to fix the under bed problems. I did not receive any response of acknowledgement so am writing about it here.

For security freaks there are 3 locks on the door. The door does not slam shut behind you which makes for a quieter hallway and keeps you from being locked out when you run for ice located on the first floor. There is even underground parking with an inside stairway up to the lobby. Best part is it is walking distance to a great restaurant- Main Street Grill, which has a full bar and good food.

It wasn't the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at, but it was by no means horrible. There's plenty of parking (including an underground garage if it's winter) and the staff was kind. Don't go here for the pool, if that's one of your main plans for your night's activities. It was SUPER chlorinated and murky. I went in, but really couldn't bring myself to swim laps... so I ended up just heading back to the room. Continental Breakfast was a 6/10. Typical stuff: Juice, Bagels, Bread for toast, a waffle iron and some cold cereal. Waffle Iron was what took this up from a 4/10 to a 6/10. The wi-fi was working great when we were there - plenty of access points, and no issues at all.

That review was either wrong or they changed their room policy. They DO accept pets. The town of Price's cheap end motels all had horrible reviews as did most of the towns and cities north of here. So I had just about resigned myself (and my two dogs) to a couple hours of fitful sleep in the car at a pull off or something. -I'm driving cross country and have a budget to adhere to so I can't stay at nicer motels/hotels. Which is fine with me. - Anyways, as I was driving through Price, and passed this little motor inn style place with a vacancy sign and figured what the hell, I know that it said they don't accept pets but they looked empty and I figured I could haggle a little. Was greeted in the lobby by a nice lady. Her husband (?) then came in and they both helped me out. The room was around 40$ and then $5/ pet. So a total of about $50 bucks. Perfect for me. I asked if check out was 11am. They both said that I could check out basically whenever I wanted. Cool. Upon entry of my room I was a tad disappointed. But not overly so. The room is about the size of an average bedroom. Maybe 10x8 or a little bigger? I'm bad at guessing. The bathroom is about the size of, well, it's small. Just a toilet and stand up shower. The bathroom sink is a pedestal sink in the bedroom. Itty bitty fridge and microwave. I will say that last night when I stayed at Americas Best Value Inn in Socorro,NM I paid about the same price (after haggling them down a little) for a huge room that was a little bit more updated. But that was a different state. PROS: +Cheap +Pet friendly +Lovely people running it. +Direct tv +Free wifi that works well +Motor in style, I like being able to see my car right outside of my room + squishy comfy pillows +nice sheets + loved the comforter. Cons: -Small. Super small -Only toiletries are a hand soap and shower soap. Both in bar form. - the floorboard heater is literally falling apart (not sure if this is how you heat the room or if heat is run through the a/c unit) - the a/c is falling apart (but works) - remote does not control the tv. Just the direct tv box - itty bitty tv, but it fits the room If you are just looking for a cheap, simple, and CLEAN place to crash and take a shower then this is it. Suited me fine.
