The Love's convenience store is so busy but so efficient and to be honest- absolutely SPOTLESS! The bathrooms were so clean, and I know they get used all day constantly. There are plenty of snacks to choose from, and the drink and hot food stations are so well-maintained and stocked. I am sure it is difficult to keep clean and stocked with the amount of people in and out all day everyday- yet they somehow manage it! The staff are so lovely, so nice, and they handle the crowds and busyness with grace and a smile! We stopped here on the way to and from Texas.

I thought it odd since we've been on an extended road trip without any trouble. On a schedule, we kept an eye out, but drove to Cameron, MO the next day. I took the truck directly to a Chevy dealership where they hooked us up to their diagnostics and determined that the fuel mixture had been WAY off. They reset the light, NO CHARGE for the diagnostics, and with new gas in the tank we're fine. I should have been suspicious when there was a technician of sorts with testing equipment in their gas tank at the station. They knew there was a problem and shouldn't have been selling gas at that point. STEER CLEAR of this guys!

The real problem is that the gas attached to it is expensive and all the food stuff and information stuff is closed at night. What kind of Turnpike rest stop is it? Certainly not one that is properly using the funds collected from the motorists. And of course because it's on a turnpike all the prices here are jacked up. I felt that a retailer should honor a marked price in their store so I boycotted Sunny's for eight months! Last week I stopped by the store in hopes of speaking to the manager but instead encountered the same salesman as mentioned in the before indecent. I very calmly tried to communicate with him only to be met with a very agitated and aggressive response.
