You never know what to expect, and hope they are going to "get" what vibe you want for your hair. Not just do whatever they want. I have never ever had a stylist take as much time getting to know me and my hair.....BEFORE...doing a single thing to my head. He truly is a master stylist. Extractions weren't painful, and it's clear from the way she speaks about skin that she knows her stuff. If I still lived in the area, I'd be booking appointments with Nicole regularly! It took us 3 sessions to get to my current goal of VERY light blonde and through it all, Jenny did what was needed to keep my hair long and strong. It felt easy to trust Jenny with my hair as she explained everything to me along the way. She's also very open to feedback so I was very comfortable letting her know when my color goals changed. She was very flexible and got me to my new goals. I absolutely love my new hair; there's so much depth and the colors of my hair blend so smoothly. I also really appreciate how seriously the salon takes COVID-19 protocols. They do not permit walk-ins and do not double book so there is never anyone waiting for a session in the salon. The chairs are well spaced out and they seem to plan it so that not all the chairs are occupied to maintain more than adequate social distancing. At arrival, customer temps are taken and we're instructed to wash our hands before taking a seat. Each chair is immediately wiped down after each service and masks are required while in the salon. I think it's great that they do everything they can to make the customers feel safe.

As soon as I sat down I said my go to line as someone with thick brows that has been getting them threaded for 13 years now: "just a clean up, not thin at all". Early into the most painful threading I have ever experienced, and having my brows continually rubbed with a dry paper towel (?) and without showing what they were looking like etc, she finishes the entire job by painfully ripping tweezing at my brows and skin. Finally as I am eager to get out of there and fix what I can at home in the few hours before a wedding event, when going to pay I am told it will be $16 whereas their online booking clearly has maintenance separately listed as $10, and was not helped out with this at all other than being told it's a mistake. Far past the point of visible pain and clear disappointment on my end, followed by what is their surprise up charge, is where a good business would have already offered service to be comped or at least offer any assistance or empathy. Have literally felt compelled to write a review like this but this will be a bummer for the weeks and months it takes to regrow and reshape my natural brows.
