First time coming to this place at 12:40 pm, February 22, 2026 and it will be the last. I asked for a shorter cut with very little layers and even showed a photo. The hairstylist began chopping right away without proper warning and she did not ease into the length, she chopped off at least five inches to start without asking if I was ok with it. She then made the front way shorter than the rest which was not asked for at all. She did not communicate at all, she did not ask if I wanted a wash or dry. Overall, I am very unhappy with the haircut and I do not recommend this place to anyone. Terrible service. If you are in the area, go to The Salon at Warren Inc. That is my usual place and I would have gone there except it was closed and I needed a cut. I should've waited. A note to everyone, do not act on impulse. read more

I frequent this place a couple times a year when in the area which I was a few days ago. I happened to get this pretty older lady with an accent who cut my hair once before. That cut was very short then, almost like a military cut, not what I asked for so I have avoided her since but that day was rainy and dreary and it was my turn. Instead of waiting I thought of giving her another try and I explicitly told her I do not want it cut short. First visual warning that I ignored was the TV nearby and I remember her changing channels and of course I was distracted too. She cut my hair so fast and again it was very short just like I did NOT want but otherwise it seemed ok. When I got home I looked in the mirror and notice a 4" area that was totally missed, hair was about 2" length and the rest of it was less than 1/2". So I drove 3mi back there to get it fixed. $5 tip on a $12 haircut, I expected better. After fixing it, as I'm walking out she had something to say under her breath which caught me off guard but I wasn't going to give her attention... Quality and customer service matters and goes a long way, unfortunately it's my 2nd and last haircut by her. This experience was bad, one star. I barely write a review but I made an exception for this place. It was my first time in New Jersey and a friend of mine recommended this place and I totally loved it. The environment is super clean and bright, staff is very friendly and above that I'm in love with my new haircut. My stylist was Nodira, I was lucky to have her, she did an excellent job with a shampooing, haircut and blow drying. Honestly I was hesitating to cut my hair very short but it came out beautiful and beyond exceeded my expectations. I will definitely recommend it to everyone and will come back again!!! read more

Supercuts 119 US-22 E, Green Brook Township. Today i went to Green Brook Supercuts for my kid's haircut. One lady was there, she didn't greet us, even though a smile, she was very rude, she messed up with my kid hair. She did spray on my daughter face, my kid said "you sprayed on my face", but the lady didn't care about that. After haircut she didn't dry my kid's hair. We asked her to dry then only she did. After that She didn't comb my kid's hair. We are not coming for free service, we pay for your service, at least respect your customer and basic manners. Worst customer service. When I walked in and there were 6 people in front of me and 2 stylists; I thought it was time to whip out a novel, but I was still out within an hour and that is with a shampoo cut and dry. A lot of people opt out of blow-drys and they get two people done at a time whenever anyone is getting a color job so these ladies know how to keep things moving. This is a criminal Supercuts. They just charge a 14-year-old girl $52 for a wash and blow out. The posted sign said $20. She was there alone for a big dance tonight. someone picked her up at the street. I'm calling the Somerset County prosecutors office to have them charged with a crime of false advertising. Had some old white lady who obviously smoked like a chimney. The Indian woman who initially washed my hair (for like 15 minutes) was the best you're going to get at this place. I allowed two hours of spare time to get my hair done for a dance, and she was not done in 2 1/2... so I had to leave. She charged me $52 dollars for half a blowout, and on the sign it says blowouts are $10-15. This place really sucks. Don't go here... ever. Just trying to take advantage of a young girl. Horrible Customer service in your Greenbrook, NJ location. I signed up for a 10:30am appointment today online & got to the shop 5 minutes B4 my appointment (the stylist was working on another customer at the time). Ten minutes after I showed up another customer came into the shop who she must have known (they greeted each other by 1st names). At 10:40am she finished up with the customer that she was working on when I got there and proceeded to take her friend next over me. I asked her why was he going B4 me, when I had an appointment and was there B4 him. She said that he called for an appointment and she was taking him 1st. She also told me that there was another person ahead of me who had called for an appointment (who wasn't present). I have two questions. #1 - why do you have online appointments when someone who calls over the phone gets priority, even if you are there B4 them and have an appointment. #2 - why didn't she inform me that I was 3rd in line for a haircut when I walked in and at least give me the common courtesy to decide if I wanted to wait or not. Please let the owner of this store know that there is a Sports Clips right up the road in Warren, NJ and that this is where I went for my haircut today & will be going to for all of my future haircuts - thanks to the stylist (pretty sure the other customer called her Lena) at this location. read more

Good value, but this is a franchised location so the ownership/management can do whatever they want including disrespecting loyal customers. They had a loyalty program where if you pay for six haircuts, you would get the seventh free. I had five for a while and was attempting to pay for my sixth and they told me they don't use them anymore and that it is so old ( perhaps last year they stopped using it). Of course they would choose not to go the customer-centric route to either let you finish the card you had or convert some type of reward or coupon based on usage. They rudely tell you no and act like the card is ancient and you are crazy for trying to still use it. I left several calls over a few months to both corporate and the direct location just to talk to the owner/manager to get a better understanding of why they would do this. Not one call back. Corporate does not even care to do anything but send messages to them to perform such a fundamental task of returning a call. It is all very ironic that after attempting to create loyalty they go and disrespect you like this and essentially tell you they could care less about you and your business. read more

Went to Super cuts Green brook for a haircut. Simple request, trimmer on the side and back, and scissors on top. I wanted to keep the hair long on top. Nadia, the stylist, couldn't even do this simple hair cut. She cut my hair short all over and made few patches that were shorter than the surrounding hair. My 7 year old would have did a better job. I am not sure if she doesn't know how to cut hair or if she was in a rush. the whole thing was done in less than 3 minutes. Will never go there as long as Nadia is there. read more

I have gone to this location before and have gotten great haircuts. However, this was not the case recently. An older woman with an accent cut my hair this time. I told her what I wanted done but when i asked her to put long layers in the sides of my hair she just said "NO." I have had this type of haircut in the past and have loved it; however this woman just would NOT do what i asked. I ended up with a haircut I hate. I also didn't like that she needed to speak in another language periodically to the hair-stylist next to her while she was cutting my hair. In the spirit of the holidays, I still tipped her but i will no longer be going to this location for a haircut. They are too inconsistent and they do not have the customer's interest in mind. read more

I honestly could get a better cut and service at shake-a-paw. I have also noticed some clients bringing in box dye and having them use that! And charging them full price!
