My father took my 3 year old son to get a haircut with him 2 days ago and during bath time afterwards I noticed the lady who cut my son's hair SHAVED DOWN HIS BACK. I am quite pissed off about this cuz if it was a mistake, then it was a horrendous one. If it were on purpose then I am speechless cuz who in their right mind would do that to anyone let alone a 3 year old boy!?? Safe to say we won't be returning to this location and it sucks cuz my son and my father are regulars there. They called them "The boys" so they should know who I'm referring to when they see this! They opened at 9:00, so I checked in on the app for the 9:05 slot. When I got there, they said they don't do the 9:05 slot even though the app offers it and they said they moved me to 10:40 because there was a line of people outside. How stupid is that? I was already checked in, but they were all prioritized before me. Supercuts just lost a customer. Contacting corporate, as well. read more

I use the Supercuts app for appointments but today I tried all afternoon and it would not let me check-in, so I stopped by and there was only 1 person in front of me. I told the stylist that the app wasn't working and she said they stop taking walk-ins at 5:40, which was 2 minutes before I got there! Even though it only takes 5 minutes to cut my hair and they weren't busy, she wouldn't make an exception for a repeat customer! Next time I'm going to the new Great Clips close by! read more

I went to get a haircut at super cuts and the lady that took me had a bun and had taken me in before and she was very rude the overall vibe was negative and she asked me how I wanted my hair to be trimmed and she asked me how I wanted it and she just went into very precise detail and we worked it out although there was employees in the back room that were purposely staying in the back to avoid helping us the lady that cut my hair talked to another employee about how they did not want to help my brother who was getting a haircut as well. The overall costumer service was horrible!! I do not recommend and I wouldn't wish this place upon my worst enemy . I called Supercuts on Rinconada in Las Cruces, NM and spoke to Michelle on the phone. She had poor etiquette and was not very friendly. When I got there to check in, the person was not friendly and looked like she had a bad attitude and had a look like she didn't enjoy her job. I was just hoping she wouldn't be the stylist I would get. Well guess what? It was who I got, and it was Michelle. I thought about asking for somebody else, but decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. Then when discussing how I wanted my hair cut, she was rude and nasty. I told her I would prefer somebody else. While I was in the waiting area, she was laughing at me. I told her I was glad she thought it was so funny. She tried to say she was laughing at something else. NO she wasn't. I received another hair stylist who had a good attitude and was polite and cut my hair exactly as I requested without being nasty like Michelle. I will probably never be back there. Out of the three stylists that were there, only one looked like she liked her job. Michelle needs to take a class is customer service and human decency skills. Sadly there's a lot of that bad customer service here in Las Cruces. Too many people walking around with a chip on their shoulder. She predicted to cut up with the number 2 and wouldn't listen to me, I told her to stop, she continued cutting, I became very loud telling her to stop!! I am a prospective newcomer to Las Cruces. I was looking for a good hair salon nearby. I saw the Supercuts sign and walked in to see their availability for a haircut and beard trim. They said it was impossible to take me in right away but if I made an appointment, they would in two hours. I said that I would burn time sightseeing around and would be back, any change I'd call them and cancel. I was back three minutes passed the two hours and waited for about five at the check in desk. Two women were working, but did not acknowledge my presence at all, then the same earlier receptionist came out from a back room and told me they couldn't take me because I was late. I said that it was less than 5 minutes, she said it was 10. I told her that I'd been there waiting for almost the 10 minutes. She went back and said that she, "guessed she was referring to the hairdresser," would do the haircut but not the beard trim...the woman who cut my hair was totally unfriendly, made me feel as a beggar, degraded and anything I'd ask her to do to suit my haircut style taste, she would have a quick excuse not to do it, such as smoother finish; not allowed, "supercuts isn't a barbershop;" a mirror to see my neck trim on the back, etc. She was done in "seven" minutes and excited to rush me out. I realized why her urgency, she had a father and his young boy waiting for her, most likely a better revenue. First time, I've felt so humiliated and received such a despicable overall service. I will not ever go back to this place neither will I recommend it. I am sure Las Cruces has quality people and businesses, just don't want to give up and think that I am moving to an unpleasant and disappointing city because of so unprofessional places like this one. read more

I called ahead and my appointment was for 1:00pm. I was asked to wait a few minutes. Michelle was my stylist and I immediately told her I only wanted a trim of my long hair as I had grown out a previous awful haircut at a different salon here in Las Cruces. She suggested 2 inches FROM THE BACK LENGTH vs the one inch I suggested. I firmly stated to only trim barely an inch from my front sides as I wanted it to be even all around. She washed my hair barely and cut my hair in such a hurry. I related another story of how my hair was wrecked a few years back in another state so I would never ever have thought she would be careless, reckless and not pay attention to what she was doing. She even insulted me about my hair being natural blonde asking me inappropriately if I spent time in the sun and why was my hair different shades. What??? Maybe from the sun and I'm older so it's getting darker. I felt like I had to defend myself. The entire awful cut was done between 1:04 and I checked out 1:24. She wouldn't blow dry it and it was soaking wet so it wasn't until I got to car and it started air drying that I looked in mirror and realized she cut 4 to 6 inches from the front I told her not to!!! I cried in my car for 15 minutes and calked the salon from parking lot. The worst stylist ever ARGUED with me on the phone and lied saying she we discussed haircut 20 minutes and I agreed to her hatch job. Impossible if I checked out at 1:42. She interrupted me numerous times and humiliated me. This person is the district manager! Wow! I went in and got my money back. I have never in my entire life received such poor customer service let alone the worst haircut of my life. It literally drops from super short on sides to long with no layer!! It's horrendous! She was rude, condescending and disrespectful. DON'T GO TO THIS SUPERCUTS! She ruined my life literally as I can't pull my hair back and it's in my mouth instead of being 4 inches or more below my chin. Haircut awful but the customer service treatment even worse. read more

I gave this shop two opportunities to fudge up Arthur's hair! (Shame on me) and both times two different stylist did just that..gave him a hair cut that looked like straight hell..(even after showing them a picture of how it was to be done,) and they agreeing that they could do it. I repeat...do not trust your hair with this particular SuperCuts. They are straight horrible!!!! I swear they must have gotten their license out of the bubblegum machine. I repeat they cannot cut or style cut hair...if you want a butchered military cut..by all means sit in their chair..if not..I warn you to stay away! Have been getting haircuts at this location for about 2 years. Only had the same person cut my hair twice in all that time. Turnover is significant here. Cuts vary from poor to good but I have a simple cut and am not terribly picky because my hair grows quickly. Shop is clean and staff is courteous. I can call ahead so I don't have to wait and the location is convenient. I have gotten my hair cut at this type of location for years so my expectations are not high and this business is no different. read more

I don't normally give reviews for anything, but in this case I believe it was warranted. I frequently get my hair cut here because I work 45 min out of town and it is a convenient stop on the way home. I stopped by after work and was greeted by one of the stylists. No one else was there so she was ready to take me back immediately. After the long drive in, I needed to use the restroom so I asked if she didn't mind if I went real quick. She seemed irritated but said it was alright. I came out not more than a minute later and there was another customer in her chair. This didn't upset me since I acknowledge she makes her money by keeping customers moving and she cuts hair very well (she had cut my hair several times before) so it would be worth the wait for one person. I sat down in the waiting area and saw someone else get called by another stylist. This didn't bother me again since I figured the first stylist still had my ticket. Now the first stylist finished with the guy that took my spot and calls someone else yet again. I get up and say to her that I believe I might have been skipped. With plenty of attitude she says " If you had gone when I told you, you would've been good but now other people called in and you have 3 in front of you." I said ok and walked out with no intentions of ever returning. I understand the slight inconvenience I caused but the level of pettiness and rudeness was too much for me. read more
