He had to take it to a shop 50 miles away from Minot because the leak was severe. Removed filter, no filter gasket was installed. Common enough mistake for someone inexperienced, not a huge deal, put new filter on, added oil and he was back to work. Went in to talk to Take 5, guy outside in his car asks what I need as he is the manager. I started to tell him my story while he looked at the receipt. He first commented that I shouldn't come in on the weekend with this. Then he said the employees that did the work were no longer there. Then he said since we had taken it somewhere else to fix he couldn't do anything, even though the issue was noticed far from Minot. Whatever, I wasn't looking for much, maybe the price of the filter. Talking with the manager was a bad experience. He wasn't looking to improve service or correct an oversight, he was looking to get rid of me as soon as possible and take no responsibility. They told her that the check engine light was on because she filled her car up while it was running (pretty common in our climate). They charged her $150 for this guy to clear a check engine light with the warranty. So essentially every time she fills her car up now with it running, she will have to pay $150 to get it cleared. One would think, that because this is a manufacturer defect, it would be covered under the warranty OR they would recall these vehicles to make that right. BBB will be notified, cooperate as well. This problem needs to be fixed. The manager working there was no help at all. DO NOT BUY VEHICLES OR SERVICE THEM FROM THIS PLACE

I dropped the truck off early and Jerry had it done with stabilizer installed by my original appointment time. Truck doesn't pull to the right anymore and Jerry didn't try to sell me anything extra.

We dropped it off at 10:15 and were told it would take 2-2 1/2 hours. After waiting for 4 1/2 hours, we called to see if it was done. After several transfers to different workers within the building, we were told they had to check on it. It is now 3:30. We called back 15 minutes later to see if they had found out if it was done. They still didn't know. At 4:30 they called us and said that they would be getting to it soon. At 5:15 we called back and they said they needed to order a part and couldn't finish it this day. It was then 5:45 by the time we could pick it up. We live 100 miles away. Now we have to take another day to bring it in for the issues that should have been fixed on the day the appointment was made for. This was completely unacceptable and uncalled for. There was no compensation for our gas for now another 100 mile trip The communication with us was awful and the organization there was horrible. I would never recommend buying anything from or taking your vehicle in to this business. The service here is very disappointing.
