I got a wash to get salt off of my truck and always wash my running boards at drive through washes. I never had a problem until going to Shammy. I guess they call it shammy because not only was the wash shabby but it also broke my cast metal running boards. The attendants were not paying attention to hit the emergency stop button. When I saw the aftermath, one worker said we will fully cover this. Only to find out the manager Nick said I was misinformed by his employee and that there is nothing they can do. He replied that his workers are young and you can never believe young kids. I then asked what's the point of your incident report if you can do nothing about it? He explained it's just a formality. I used to be a good customer there. Never again will I go since he didn't even offer to give me a refund on the wash that left my truck not only damaged but full of suds from the wash that never rinsed my truck. I spoke with the regional manager Kevin and I'm not surprised at the lack of empathy. There is obviously no self accountability in this business. If you have a vehicle that will need a wash. Do not waste your time, you'll end up with a damaged vehicle.

The wash is modern and cleans all areas of a vehicle well. The location also offers numerous car cleaning services including free use of vacuums in the parking lot upon completion of each wash. The location is clean, well maintained, and staffed with friendly and efficient personnel. The only downside is that the lot that the car wash is located is awkwardly configured and entering and exiting is a bit challenging if there are other customers navigating the same access/exit points. Beyond that, this is a convenient location with strong customer service.

But it turns out that was merely an automated system response. Where it gets worse is I responded with the service that I would have liked. . . But crickets. Even though Yelp showed that my message was "Read". I gave them a few days, assuming that they were just busy. But I can't believe that a business can be so busy as to not provide at least an acknowledgement. My final communication was reaching out to thank them for their initial automated response and mentioning that I assume they have no availability. And again. . . crickets. The final straw was the notification that my message on Yelp had indeed been received and "Read", yet still ignored. I really wanted and tried to support this women-owned business, but I am extremely disappointed in their lack of communication. Reply to Business Owner's Response: A quick search of my cell phone's call history shows that I did in fact call the correct number. The screenshot below shows that I have been trying to reach out to you since May 2025. And if you look closer, you will see that each of the icons are outgoing calls. Not one call back was ever received from you, despite the voicemail messages that I left. Additionally, I still have my landline, so a couple of calls were also made using that phone number. However, I don't feel that it's necessary to provide a screenshot of those call records. After my last call of October 28, 2025, I finally reached out to you through Yelp in November 2025, which leads us to this review. An amazing hand held air dryer that you can really dry your entire car in minutes with no worries of scratches. Blows out all the water in all door jambs, creases and trunk & hood panel gaps. Very reasonably priced and you can easily pay by coin, credit card or Apple Pay. You can stop charges every four or five minutes or let it continue and will time out at $15 after 15 minutes. Several high quality vacuums. Outstanding customer service, if you call the owner he is very nice and will answer any questions and is very accommodating.
