Contacted them for warranty repair on my new Viking range. Their receptionist was EXTREMELY rude and kept reiterating - they dont have work order from the manufacturer. When I tried to explain - I have the order on hand, which was emailed to them, she basically yelled at me and hung up. Unbelievable. Upon calling Viking warranty team, I learned that my work order was declined by Superior El; their receptionist didnt even bother to tell me that! The gentleman didn't even touch the appliance and still charged $128.33 to diagnose. I don't disagree that service charges should be a thing. However, he diagnosed the wrong thing! I contacted my home warranty for a dishwasher leaking through my kitchen floor and into my basement. Superior Electronics was dispatched. The technician followed up with me and came within a few days. He diagnosed a problem, then said he had to order a part, and would come back the following week. He came for the second appointment, spent over an hour working on my dishwasher, claimed to have fixed the initial source of the leak, but explained there was an additional dishwasher valve leaking into the sink area that could only be fixed by a plumber. For reasons I can't fully understand, he couldn't fix my appliance despite being an appliance technician. Weeks later, after having to arrange for a plumber to come and address the part of the dishwasher that he could not, I attempted to run the dishwasher to find it was still leaking into my basement. The leak under the sink was fixed. So, to recap: it's been over a month without a dishwasher despite paying two deductibles, having three service appointments, and at least five calls to my home warranty company. Based on my experience I cannot in good conscience recommend Superior Electronics unless you want them to work on a limited scope of your problem and not even do that right. read more

This company is absolutely HORRIBLE. I took my laptop here to have the screen replaced back in 2011. I bought the replacement screen and gave it to them so they could do the replacement. After a few days I returned to pick up my laptop. An employee asked me if I had broken off any buttons on the keyboard and I said NO. When I got the laptop back it had 4 buttons that had been broken off and glued back in place. They also managed to break BOTH latches that cover the brackets that hold the top and bottom of the laptop together. When I told them that they broke the buttons they informed me that I told them I did. I told them that the only thing that was broken on the laptop was the screen when I gave it to them, and I had a repair slip that stated this. The man behind the counter began swearing at my father and I and demanded we pay. We paid them for the service but he refused to give us our change and threatened us if we didnt leave immediately. The man behind the counter also mentioned that they don't usually do laptop repairs. If they don't do laptop repairs then WHY WOULD THEY TELL ME THEY WOULD REPAIR MY LAPTOP?? I reported this company to the BBB after the incident. If I could I would give them 0 stars and I would close down their business so no one has to be scammed and intimidated by them again. Terrible service years ago on a CRT TV under warranty from Walmart. Had to take it there, they refused to come to house, took a very long time, and had poor communication. Terrible service recently with an LG dryer. Whoever answers the phone & schedules service has been rude to my wife on multiple occasions. Tech who came to house was grumpy, unprofessional, brought nothing with him the 1st time when we had already told them what was broken. Assessed, came back with that part, looked at machine 5 minutes and said that it would be a big big hard job and needed more new parts. What did he look at the first time? He was very rude, knocked obnoxiously & didn't use (perfectly functioning) doorbell. Ridiculous. We have been without a washer for almost a damn month at this point. They were supposed to call to schedule today before 10:00am, and never did. Home Depot has gotten involved & is sending another service company. I had my freezer fixed in September 2019 the drain was frozen and am having the same issue. I called and scheduled an appointment and it was for Friday, May 22nd. I didn't hear from the tech so I called the office and they gave me his number. I called and talked to him and he said he would be to my home between 2-4. At 4 I texted him and asked if he was on his way. He responded no that he was still at another job and "didn't want to work until 7 pm". He said he could do it the next day, which was saturday, I said ok, what time, he response "I'll let you know". Never heard from him again. I get a call from Superior Electronics on Tuesday, the 26th saying they wanted to reschedule, I told them what happened and rescheduled for today. Friday, May 29, 2020. No call from the tech so at 10:08 am I called the office and told them that I haven't heard from Shawn, the tech!! Their response to me was to call him. I said no it's not my job, it's your's or his to contact me. She said hold on and then hung up on me!! POOR customer service will NEVER do business with these people again. Going to magistrate today to file civil charges against company, daughter Amber Manning and father (owner) Dan Manningwho's got lack of a better work a POS. They originally did a diagnostic fee of $128, said if repairs needed would go towards cost of repairs. After waiting several days their supposed Manager and front desk Kristy who sounds straight out of Jersey Shore, refused to provide the quote which was to be done next day. Hung up, after calling me a Fucking Cunt. The daughter Amber finally called back after stealing the $128.00. Had semi sincere convo that her Father did care and was retiring. She knew girl was a problem and called later to give me a quote of $318 (for parts and labor). Stating "I would not be paying that since the poor service". She assured me she would provide me with proof of cost of parts labor was already paid l. Never did. Come multiple follow ups she tried telling me the cost we would owe would be am additional $203. If you do basic math 128+203= $331. Higher than the original quote plus no back up for what to add to this. Amber then went on to lie and say the actual quote bc "she mispoke" was the 128 in addition to thr $331 price so she was now claiming the full cost was $459. No proof again. When I called back and spoke with "Jersey shore" she told me the cost would be $303 and she discounted... They repairs man showed up and had an invoice for $310. No proof of cost of parts ordered. End story my fridge is still broken which was suppose be the replacement of the ice maker fan, however still broke, they repairman broke a wheel off the drawer and was to have it ordered and replaced. Superior Electronics was assigned to fix my floor model A/C by frigidaire. The tech was very kind and personable the first time he came to look at the A/C. However, he couldn't get the unit apart to fix the leak that it had (brand new, out of the box). He told me he would return in about a week with some other tools and see if it could be done. When he came back, he decided to just take it back to their office. When he returned it the next week, he just dropped it off and left - I actually didn't even get to speak with him as a friend let him in to set it back up. I ended up calling them the next day because they left the drain plug off the water tank and with the high humidity, the A/C was collecting a lot of water and just spilling it out onto my hardwood floors. I spent another week and a half playing 'call the tech' with the owner, of which told me every time I called, that I needed to call the tech (of which I did, and he wouldn't call me back for days). The owner finally said that he can't control the tech, make him drop off the part, or even call me back. He said something along the lines of 'he is contracted out, he isn't my employee, the only way I could control him is by putting a gun to his head' Then he proceeded to tell me he could fire him, if I like, but then I'd never get my part back. Over a week after that, (if your counting, that's over a month, now). The tech dropped off a bunch of plugs on my porch. None of which belong to my A/C. By then, I had called Frigidaire, and they had sent the plug I needed to me (it took 7 days, still less than Superior Electronics). I filed a BBB complaint against them a few days before they returned the part, which is probably the only reason they did, and it wasn't even the right part. When I finally put the plug Frigidaire sent me in and turned the unit on, it still leaked! So, I spent 2 months with this guys stringing me along, the hottest months of the year, and the most humid, with no A/C, just to find they didn't even fix the original problem, along with leaving crucial parts of my A/C off, leaving it inoperable, even if they had fixed it. The owner called today to argue that his tech sent the right parts (he didn't even come in to re-install or look at the A/C, instead opting to call and leave me a voicemail saying the parts were on the porch) of which he did not, and demanded I find another servicer so he could close the service order. He's hung up on me several times, called me unreasonable on BBB, and was just over all rude in nearly every call. I would not recommend this company to anyone! And given the reviews I've seen on BBB, and every other site, not many would. If Frigidaire or some other company sends these guys, please, for your sanity, call them back and ask for another servicer! read more

We have American Home Shield warranty. AHS dispatched Superior Electronics to fix our GE oven with a burned out element. A women in the office calls and says that our appointment is scheduled for a particular day without consulting with us first. We called back and by luck we were able to schedule on day my wife was off for Christmas holiday. Geez! We both work for a living!! We don't like the idea that a company is going to tell the consumer what day is good for service without input from customer first. Tom was the repair tech who was dispatched and he was the bright side of our experience acting very professional with proper manners as he entered our home. He properly explained what was wrong and had to order a new element. We asked Tom if he would come on a Saturday to install new element and he had no problem accommodating us. The same woman from the office calls again, leaves message that part arrived and tells us once again the weekday they are coming out on the schedule. Really???? My wife returned call and told them Tom the tech was ok with Saturday repair. Tom returned on Saturday and installed the new part with no problems at all. With all the bad reviews I've read about Superior Electronics we give it a two thumbs up because of our experience with Tom. Our advice if possible is to ask for Tom when dealing with this horrible business. We give 2 stars for unfriendly consumer company business practices and 5 stars for Tom the technician. read more

SOOOO AWFUL!! I bought a home with a 1 year warranty on the appliances. The refrigerator's water dispenser starting running without being pushed in, so water was going all over the floor. Even when the door was shut, the sensor thought it was being pushed in, so it constantly shot out water. We were forced to unplug the fridge and call the Home Warranty company. They told us someone from Superior Electronics would be there within a week. The guy shows up, pushes on the dispenser, opens the fridge door, then leaves! HE DIDN'T EVEN PLUG IN THE FRIDGE TO SEE IF IT WORKED! He said, "the water dispenser sensor must be broken, so I'll order that. And the 3 water lines inside are broken too, so we'll order that as well." A week goes by and I haven't heard anything, so I call them and the very rude secretary said that the Home Warranty closed the service request. I Home Warranty and they end up telling me that the "beverage dispenser isn't under warranty. Just components that make the fridge do it's primary duties (keep the food cold)." Ok, I understand - that makes sense. I can live without a water dispenser. BUT, because the water dispenser is constantly shooting out water, I can't even close my fridge door. I'd have to leave it open to stop the water, thus, stopping the fridge from doing it's primary duty. So I tell them that I don't think the serviceman did a good job diagnosing the fridge because he was only there for 3 minutes and didn't even turn the fridge on. The Home Warranty COULDN'T BELIEVE IT. She was blown away that a serviceman would have diagnosed ANY appliance without at least seeing if it worked. She immediately called her manager and had him approve to have a second serviceman from another company come to my house, free of charge, so truly diagnose what's going on. So in short, the Superior Electronics guy just wanted some quick and easy work. So he came in, didn't do any actual tests, and then charged the Home Warranty a bunch of money. Upon calling Superior Electronics Services, I spoke to Jay Cravener. He turned out to be the service technician who traveled to my home and repaired my problem. During the initial call, Jay assessed from me the following: Make and Model of the Appliance Where and When the Appliance was Purchased Verification of Warranty Possible Causes of the Current Appliance Malfunction Convenience of Date and Time Based on My Schedule for Repair Additional Measures to be Taken to Expedite the Repair Process Assessing, and more importantly meeting the needs of the customer should be the cornerstone of any successful business. Not only does Superior Electronics Services meet their customer's needs, but also in my experience, they genuinely care for the quality of work and customer interaction that they perform. Jay was very kind and polite on the initial phone call, and even gave me the option to text information back and forth instead of calling! My schedule is erratic and I am not always able to answer the phone, but I can almost always respond to a text message quickly. This was a great convenience for me! Jay was very professional throughout both our texting and phone conversations and he went above and beyond by making the experience more personable. Before the repair, I had mentioned to him that I have a large dog who is extremely friendly but will most likely get in his way when he was performing the repairs. I asked Jay to call or text when he was close to my home and I would put my dog, Franco, in his crate for the duration of the house call. He informed me that he has ten dogs at home that he rescued and that Franco would not be a problem. Jay encouraged me to let Franco roam freely about my home during his visit. As an animal lover, this wasfantastic to not have to put my dog through the stress of having a stranger in his home and rendering him unable to "check them out".Before coming to my home, Jay verified the make and model of my refrigerator: a Frigidare Stainless French Door with Bottom Freezer. He confirmed that my appliance was purchased from Lowes and informed me of an option to purchase the extended warranty. After I explained the problems I was having with my fridge, Jay explained to me the reason for the malfunction. The design of my refrigerator has the ice maker contained up top in the cooling section. The freezer section of the fridge is located on the bottom. Therefore, the line to pump in water to create the ice is running parallel to the warm metal coils in the back of the refrigerator which is inadvertently warming up the water. The fan that is housed inside the ice machine must now work almost constantly to help cool the water enough to be able to create ice to fill up my beverages. This phenomenon along with the frequency in which I dispense the ice puts additional strain on this tiny fan. Jay informed me that this is a very common occurrence with this style refrigerator and the fan replacement parts are 200 dollars. The extended warranty is 300 dollars. The warranty will most definitely pay for itself within the first year, Jay urged. I appreciated his honesty along with his knowledge and experience with my problem.After we pinpointed my issue, Jay explained to me how the warranty regulations work. To ensure that the repairs are completed at no cost to me, several steps must be taken. I have paperwork to fill out and give to Jay at the scheduled house call repair. Jay must then submit the information to the warranty company who will in turn submit to Lowes. Upon completing this verification, the necessary parts may now be ordered and a second house call repair can be scheduled. This process takes weeks. Jay instead had me send a photo message to him of the original store receipt and warranty information and he was able to expedite this process and order the parts needed the very next day. The house call repair was then scheduled completely at my convenience. The entire process took only a few days. Jays diligence and genuine care for his work and his customers made this experience a great one. I would rate Superior Electronic Services a 10 out of 10. Given my experience, the company maintains very well trained employees. The attention to detail, friendliness, convenience, and knowledge that I received was outstanding! Jay made me feel very comfortable having a stranger in my home. He was polite and made light conversation throughout his stay. Major bonus points for sending an animal lover to my home. My refrigerator is working good as new and I feel confident knowing that if this issue should happen again, that it is a simple fix. My wife and I were very pleased with the service we received and the technician who provided the service. We had contacted our warranty provider concerning our washer. They work with Superior Electronics and presented the problem to Superior. Superior called us to set up an appointment to diagnose the problem and Josh was the Service Technician that came to the house. He looked at the machine and indicated what was wrong and what parts would be ordered. He was prompt, professional, and personable. He said that he would be the one installing the parts when they came into the shop. He was true to his word. He came out and told my wife what was being done and after an hour he was ready to go. Again he was prompt, professional, and personable and we feel he is and asset to the company. We would recommend Superior Electronics and their staff to anyone who is need of such service. read more

This company is by far the most unprofessional organization I have worked with. If I could give negative stars I would. I was told that they would be calling between 8-10 with a two hour window, so I took off work. I was not called within that time and instead had to reach out myself. The person assigned was not responsive for hours, then finally told me that he left a voicemail on my home phone, which is a lie because I do not have one, and that he would be coming at 3:30pm. I took off work for him to come during the assigned time so I was not able to be there 6 hours later since I had to go in. When the administrative lady (Michelle) called me she told me in an incredible rude tone "Well that's not what we meant" and when I articulated that the communication was not clear she did not apologize but instead told me that it was my fault for not letting the company know that I had work 6 hours outside of the assigned window and "that's just how they do it." So unless you have 6-8 hours to sit around and have your time disrespected I would go with a buisness with more ethical standards and communication skills. read more

I will never again have Service Electronics in my home. They were assigned to us for warranty work our new dishwasher. After the first service call, which caused a second problem, we were expecting a technician in our home today. He did not call as he was supposed to in order to tell us when he was coming, but there was a back and forth in which he told us a lie. My husband called Dan at Superior's office, and after several other calls between the technician, my husband, and Dan, they called my husband a liar, saying the tech never said what he absolutely did. Finally, we called back to cancel the service, and after a very complex phone call, Dan screamed and yelled at me, told me to shut up, was rude, obnoxious, swore at me, and wouldn't let me talk. We called LG to report the actions of this awful man and to tell them to honor our warranty with a different technician, and they are working on that. Meanwhile, we also called Home Depot, where we bought the dishwasher, to report the company. I am about to call the Better Business Bureau to record our displeasure. This is the most horrible company I have ever dealt with in my 72 years! Nobody deserves to be screamed at or told to shut up by a customer service person. They don't deserve to be in business. I had an unbelievably horrible experience with this company. My tv was sent here to be fixed and they were extremely rude and it was clear they did not know what they were doing. They have had the tv for almost two weeks when they said it would take 3 to 7 days. They have been "waiting for parts" the whole time they have had it. When i called to inquire on the status of the tv the man working yelled at me and made me cry, he told me not to call him back and bother him again. Unfortunately, I had to use this company for a Samsung dishwasher that has an extended warranty. On 12/05/2016 a technican inspected the dishwasher to determine the issue. He told me it was the control panel and they will order new control panel and come back to install. Nine days later he returned to install the part; a piece of the control panel that he ordered was missing from the box. He said he will have to return when another part arrives. He also told me he didn't like doing warranty work because he didn't get paid until the appliance was repaired. Fourteen days later he returned with correct part and installed it but did not fix the issue. He said he will contact warranty center and tell them the dishwasher cannot be fixed and should be replaced. On January 4th after not hearing from Superior or the warranty center, I called the warranty center and was informed that Superior had never contacted them with any information regarding the issue. They told me to call Superior and tell them to forward the information. I called Superior Electronics and spoke with Dan who told me he was the owner. He informed me that he did not know anything about my claim or repair and "doesn't really give a ****". I told him that this was very poor customer service and he said he "doesn't care what the **** I think". I would not recommend this company to anyone!
