Canyon showed up and discharged without warning...not even one days notice leaving her without any assistance. My research indicates this is a case of abandonment. They should have at least warned her this was coming to and end and given her few days to process this loss. The only thing I recieved was a list of other options and that was AFTER I asked for solutions. To me this is heartless, to leave a 90 year old abandoned without any transistion assistance. DO NOT USE CANYON, because they could discharge you without fair warning and any assistance. i wish I could post a picture of my mothers feet.. edema and they are the size of elephant feet and she can barely walk. She would be a fall risk in the shower if she had to shower alone. It wasn't until I mentioned abandonment that the second supervisor back paddeled and offered one more visit. TOO LATE.. the trust is gone. That's my warning.... go elsewhere.

Everything went wrong at once and the staff - from the person who answered the phone, to Julia who managed our case, to the aides who helped my mother in some of her worst moments. Aspire exists with only one intention from my experience; to offer the highest level of care and compassion to families and patients. My grandfather had a terrible experience with another company that the hospital recommended, they were awful, never showed up after the 1st visit and then wild releases him from service without a fight. He passed away in pain and on drugs that made me agitated and delusion. I wish we had found Aspire much sooner.

Neglectul. They refused to speak to the ombudsman after encouraging me to make a report against the…read morememory care facility my mom was at. They wouldn't answer specific questions or give witness to the wrongs they saw. They acknowledged a lack of education on the part of the facility that lead to direct harm and refused to offer any assistance, share information, or support justice. They allowed the retaliative behavior of the facility to blind them and even tried pulling back the hospice services they themselves, just hours prior, had insisted she needed. I'm appalled and utterly hurt by the way they failed to help me and my mom as she lay dying or to give account of what they witnessed when doing so would spare others heartache and ensure the facility wouldn't be allowed to continue their harm. I was warned about them and ignored those warnings and have paid a grave price. Their services are a joke under the guide of caring. They're in it for the money and won't show up for you. Go with another service because Envision and their staff say they care but when push comes to shove and they have a clear and easy opportunity to do right, they chose not to. They're not going to provide you the care you need at such a critical time. Save yourself the heartache.
