Hired them for simple attention to low maintenance yard on our rental property. Walked the property with Cody and told him what we expected - trim trees when needed, weed, and mow. Well the tenants have dogs and didn't keep up the lawn so there was no need to mow. Every time I visited the property our trees were touching the gutters and power lines. They sprayed weed killer without asking so they didn't even have to weed whip anymore and then didn't even remove dead plants. We are no longer using their service. read more

We have mature 12' to 14' plus honey suckle hedges growing on three sides of our home that offer beauty and privacy. With the major rainfalls received last winter the hedges became overgrown and I needed to find a crew to shave back the sides and cut them down to a more manageable 8' to 10'. Several tree trimming crews came by and provided competitive quotes. Several landscaping crews came by and offered a no-bid given the size of the job at hand. Cody bid a very reasonable rate for his landscaping crew to come out and do the entire job in a day. And they did! They came back the following day to clean the droppings in my neighbor's yards (5 neighbors) and that was it. The job was done professionally and they left the yard and site clean as a whistle. Good communication at times, but very flakey. On several occasions we agreed to a certain day (in one instance, 4 weeks in advance). Unfortunately he's cancelled on me multiple times the day of (and twice now even after the agreed-upon time he was supposed to show up). I've tried texting them days before the appointment and received confirmation, just to get cancelled on again the day of. Keep hearing the same excuse that his guys called in sick, and finally decided I'm being tired of being treated second-class (as he's working other higher-paying jobs instead) and taking my business elsewhere. Services are generally inexpensive and some of their guys work hard (not all), but you pay for it with constant cancellations and re-negotiations of the price. May work out for you if your schedule is flexible and you don't care when they show up, but didn't work out for me. They also like to stick to certain areas (usually in the shade) and not work on others, even after constant reminders. read more

Cody and his team have done my yard maintenance for a few years now and the property management and I have been pretty satisfied with the work. I'm not able to do yard work myself so it's nice to have someone like Cody who communicates pretty well in making sure he's getting done what you want. He responds well to text also for queries and requests. For most home yard maintenance having a flexible regular schedule ongoing works best for this crew. be wear of superior landscape I hired them to landscape my yard it cost me just under 12 thousand dollars they did a terrible job first my front lawn the irrigation was way over kill for yard since it was on a 20 to 30 % slop and they put in big rotary sprinklers that sprayed water in the road and on to neighbor property and in 5 minutes it was running down slop in to road so after spring had sprung and summer rolled around the lawn it started to die I call Superior and they tell me to set timer for 2 or 3 times a day and it was still dying then I tested the soil and PH was 5.7 I add some lime and it helped but as it got hotter it died. And the back yard they did not grade properly, and it left a little pond that killed a lot of grass. And on one side of property, they in properly installed some composition edging and because of that it started to pull apart and warp I had this done in October of 2020 Chris Kennedy is the owner I did not check his landscapers license in till after the fact my fault on that if I had I would have seen 4 or 5 other who made formal complaints with the landscapers' board and it is very hard to prove to landscapers board so you have been warned, I do not want to see another senior citizen ripped off by Superior landscape read more

We agreed that the rep would be at my house anytime after 1pm. After I didn't hear back, at 3:30pm I texted and he said that he would be there about 5pm. He ended up not arriving until almost 6pm. I had him take a look at the issue (my pop-up sprinklers in the backyard wouldn't pop-up). He said he'd never seen this issue before and didn't know what the problem was. He said he'd research and give me a call the next day. He also looked at a leak I had at an outside spigot and said he would give me a bid to fix the next morning. It's now 3 days later and I've heard nothing from him. If the job is beyond him or he doesn't want to do it, he could have just let me know. Very unprofessional. read more
