Lily, our nail tech, was kind and professional, and the nail designs looked good initially. However, my daughter's nails began chipping the very next day, which is unacceptable for a service meant for a special event. Lily also performed the waxing. While the process itself seemed fine, the wax used on my daughter's eyebrows left her face extremely red, which raises concerns about the products being used for facial services. On top of that, I waited over two hours and was not offered even a basic courtesy like a beverage. For a total of $183 plus a $50+ tip, the level of service and quality did not match the cost. Overall, while the staff was polite and the designs were nice at first, the poor communication, subpar results, and lack of attention to customer experience mean I will not be returning. I now have to find another salon in North Carolina to fix issues right before my daughter's prom. Update: another nail chipped...I will NEVER come back to this establishment!

They have a host serving drinks, which is a plus, and the prices are reasonable. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is that I felt the pedicure was rushed. They set a timer--probably for a massage--but the lady turned it on once she started scrubbing my feet. Also, her painting of my toes was a little uneven. I recommend the salon; it's centrally located, but I wish there was more parking.

The staff was so friendly, definately that down-home southern hospitality feel you would expect from a place like Virginia. I drive 30 minutes for my appointment only to find out they were closed! I left a message saying I was having trouble finding their building, but had eventually found them. I was still early. I will never consider going back there since (1) the receptionist didn't even know their own hours, which to me is just plain stupid and (2) never called to follow up and see if I would like to come in a different day. They lost my business.

No essie, no opi, not even gelish. Real cheap stuff because when i got my nails redone somewhere else an hour later their gel polish just sloughed off. I had gel on my nails from a previous manicure that took the nail tech like 45 mins to take off...they tried to convince me that it wasn't good polish, I disagree I think it's great polish and it lasted three weeks with no chipping. I didn't even get a real manicure. My nails were unevenly cut and painted. I had polish all over my skin. No massage, no lotion. I'm a tough critic but I came from such a great salon that I don't think i'll ever find one like it in this area :/ Pros: the staff was nice. You get an F. I won't be back.
