I paid for a repair to be done in Feb, installation didn't happen until April. When they showed up, it was with the wrong parts and I was told I would get a refund for the difference. During the next heavy rain, I found out it was leaking and informed them in May and asked about my refund. It took until July to get the refund and now, in Aug, they haven't sent anything about coming back to fix the leak in over a month. 2 months after payment to start work, over 2 months to get a refund owed, 3 months after that and I still don't have a solid roof on my shed. Over 7 months without a proper fix. Do NOT pay this company up front. They WILL take your money and leave you with a half-finished job and do everything they can to ghost you. read more

We bought a carport from Superior Sheds, and without realizing it, The Carport Company , (a separate contractor) and while we loved Marge (Saleslady) - we did not have a good overall experience. We will not be calling them for any future needs. The initial process of picking out the features and ordering the carport went well, and we were even OK with the long wait time (3-4 months) and 40% upcharge due to "materials shortages". These were both mentioned in the initial paperwork. When the guys finally arrived on a Saturday to install the carport (a team contracted by The Carport Company to do installs)...they had the wrong roof. This wasn't the installer's fault, as the paperwork they had in hand showed a traditional roof - but we had ordered and paid for a different style. The installers already had the supports up, and anchored into the ground when we noticed the incorrect roof. Needless to say, the crew chief wasn't happy. He contacted his boss who said we would wait til Monday to straighten out the roof issue. When they did finally come back (after about three weeks of calls to The Carport Company), they installed the correct roof, along with the paneling that had been lying the ground. The paneling had picked up some kind of stain that wouldn't come off with just a broom and water (as tried by the crew chief). At this point, it was thunderstorming, so I told him I'd work it out with the company. I was thinking that I could have the stains power-washed and just get a reimbursement from the company, but it was time to pay the crew team for installation, and I did just that. It wasn't until the next day, when we were out admiring our new carport, that we noticed one side of the structure was WAY off plumb. Like 5 inches in 8 feet. It was the side near the house, so it was very noticeable. I just hadn't paid attention the day before because of the rain, and dealing with the crew chief who was in a big hurry to leave, since this was his second trip out. So another call to The Carport Company, and the person I spoke to said they'd send the crew out to look at it as soon as they were available. Took three more calls over the next three weeks to get them out. In the interim, I had the roof of my house cleaned, and the workman was able to clean the stains off the inside of the carport roof using pressure and bleach. When the installers arrived again, they looked the carport over and told me that the ground wasn't level, so it couldn't be fixed. After a lot of discussion, the crew dug up two of the in ground footers and moved them about 5 inches. This remedied the problem and they were on their way, having completed the work satisfactorily. Finally. So, I did eventually get a satisfactory carport. But it took numerous trips by the installers, multiple calls to The Carport Company, and a lot of frustration on my part. Additionally - As I said, Marge is a great person. I contacted her a few times during this process though, and was told that Superior Sheds only SELLS the carport. Any problems must be handled through the manufacturer/installer. So, Superior Sheds takes a cut - and for that money, they help you plan your carport/shed, and send those plans to The Carport Company or one of the other companies they do business with. As I said, if it were me to do over, I'd go elsewhere. read more

Superior Sheds - Sheds & Outdoor Storage Near Me - Longwood, Florida

This was my third building that I have purchased through Shedsforless, in South Lakeland. I've bought a 30'X40' metal building, a 18'X40" RV Port and recently a 12'X20' aluminum shed. The recent purchase I had the pleasure of dealing with Neal, great guy, great customer service. He called when he said he would, he worked with me about the delivery (actually delivered two days early), everything was great, until it was delivered. The delivery guys were great, took great care in the septic location and plants, etc. Since it was a "new" shed, I didn't walk inside of it for a few days, only to find the roof was separated from one of the walls by an inch (daylight shinning through), holes in the panels, screws not attached to anything, just screwed through the metal. The interior walls were wet from where it had been leaking during a storm. I notified Neal, in about two weeks, Superior Shed sent someone out to repair the shed. I couldn't be there in person for the repairs, but I requested they replace the panels with new ones and not "caulk" the holes and gaps. Well their quality control sucks and so does their customer service in Orlando. They filled everything with "silicon", and when I called to complain, they advised it would be another 2 weeks before anyone could come out, but they would not replace the panels with new ones. I called Neal, advised him what the Customer Service said. I told him to come get the shed, it was garbage, and the quality sucked. He said they don't offer refunds, but that the owner said he would send someone out within the week at his expense. Nobody ever called or showed up. So now I'm stuck with a shed that has holes in it, separated walls, and repairs made with silicone. Since I paid cash, I have no recourse other than to let people know not to purchase a Superior Shed. If you do, get something in writing that protects you if the shed has holes, gaps or the quality is as poor as mine. I've had mine for a couple months, and I still haven't been able to use it, as everything would get wet when it rains. A Home Depot or Lowes Shed would be better quality then these. read more

Marge made things so easy. We visited. Decided. Ordered. No haggling or trying to up sell! Once we went to court tract Marge kept in contact with us and was very responsive each time my husband reached out to her. Not one excuse. Not one delay. When D-Day (delivery day) came, Justin and Luis arrived on time and got right to work! I stepped outside to sneak a peek and Luis said, "we're just about done." Wow! The next time I stepped out, Justin asked, "How do you like it?" They were finished quick! They didn't disturb my working from home at all...except for me being a little curious (aka nosey :-))! I bought a shed from these people back in 97 it was small just to put my lawn equipment in. I bought a big one in 2009 from them. It was a 23 by 26 I think. Both sheds are in excellent condition inside and out. The big one has two windows in it. It has gone through many hurricanes both sheds and they haven't moved no damage no problems nothing. I wouldn't buy a shed from another company only them cuz they make their shirts perfect. I go to 17 - 92 in Longwood to get my sheds. The prices are great also there's other companies out there, however I don't know how long those sheds last. I know mine is in perfect condition inside and out I use the big shed for storage. read more
