    we worked with Meleik, we were not sold on a E-bike let…read morealone a brand, and in less then an hour we came home with 2. he is knowledgeable in the product itself, but was able to answer our 100 questions! even asking a few over and over! he even took the time to close shop and let us take them on a cruise before we decided. myself am suffering from multiple surgeries in a very short time and still in a lot of chronic pain, so I was very unsure if I could even ride, we took our first bike ride today and let me say the Aventon abound , the ease of the assist was perfect I was able to pedal to get some exercise but was able to keep riding with out over doing it. They may have been a little pricey but just our first short ride today and the first time being able to enjoy an activity that I loved before I got hurt and haven't been able to since was priceless. worth every penny! Thank you so much Meleik and (I'm sorry for not knowing the other awesome guys name) for everything Even all the way down to helping us load and unload a few times to get everything to fit!     This is a good/bad review. First bad: I had a warranty issue with a bike purchased three months…read moreago. Contacted the store and was in told to send an email with pictures. Email sent, a week passes. No contact. Resent email. No contact. Called but no one answered. Left a message. Repeat times 3. Finally take time to go to the store. It really shouldn't be this hard! The good. Meleik was very understanding and reached out to his team. Despite no response to him, he was able to find a part to resolve the issue. Took 5 minutes to replace the part. Kudos for the service rendered by Meleik. Five stars for resolving!

My first experience with AJ sports was a couple weeks ago when I came in to buy my kids their first skis. Everyone was helpful and left me feeling like this was a place I could trust. I came back today with the hand me down skis/boots I inherited over a decade ago. I told the staff I had no idea if they were good, or if I needed to get something newer. Beau immediately stepped up and said he'd be happy to help. He spent the next hour with me looking over options at all different price points, pointing out the differences between his recommendations for my ability level. He took the time to not only answer all my questions, but educate me on a sport I didn't grow up around. He was patient and considerate, and listen to me as I voiced certain concerns about some of the options. I ended up walking out with new (to me) skis, poles, boots, and a handful of accessories for me and my kids, with zero buyers remorse. I feel like I'm set up to have a successful ski season for many years to come, and look forward to enjoying the sport much more with myyoung family.

    I came here today to get my fishing license and discovered this store has a lot more than I…read moreexpected. No idea where to go... at each entrance there are service stations where you may purchase your items or ask questions. I asked where to get my fishing license and the young man cheerfully gave me precise instructions. Once I arrived at customer service I was greeted warmly and in less than 5 minutes I had my license. I chose 1 year but you can choose from a good variety of options up to three years! 5 star experience... While I walked about I was asked by a floor monitor if they could assist me with anything... I asked T question and they responded kindly good people in the store. I got some Iowa beef sticks... they also had good variety of jerky... that meaty juicy type not dried. I asked AI what are the top 5 most popular lures that work best in Utah and the store had all of them. I took them, a great Nike T shirt and my beefsteak at the cashiers near the entrance, paid and bid good day. I'd shop this place again.

    Sorry to do this but things are very different at Scheels than in the past…read more I spent 30 minutes in the Kuhl department and no one even offered help or bothered to say hello. (I had several questions) 10 minutes in golf department. Same story. 20 minutes in BBQ and the two guys there seemed more worried about the display looking great than offering help. I've always loved Scheels but I am very disappointed with the current lake of service or lack of. I hope things improve! (I only spent $250)

    1. I've never left a yelp review in my life. I only use this to look at pictures of food…read more So I walk-in and hear "WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU" and just by hearing it you could just tell it wasn't a friendly one. So I go ahead and explain that I wanted to return this helmet (bought it 4days ago and wore it 2x NO SCRATCHES OR DINGS). NOPE we can't! Instantly. Ok would you like to explain! "It's a liability and I can't resale it without a box" I say to They/Them/Her that It was a display and it was the last one of this size. "Well it's nothing I can do with it". Mind you this right in front of two customers that are renting ski's and they're looking back at her like "that's kind of aggressive". So I ask to speak with a manager to see if it's something They/Them could help with "IM THE TEAM LEAD TODAY" And she just walks away! So I just kind of stand there and look for any signs that say NO RETURNS ON HELMETS by the register or even by the helmet section or even on the receipt. NOTHING So while I'm standing there to let her finish up with the two gentleman renting skis. A guy from the back walks up "hey my man how can I help you" i explained to him the same thing i said to the lady. (In front of her while she's helping the guys. I didn't want it to seem like I was going behind her after she's said what she's had to say) She stops what she's doing and says he wore it and it doesn't have a box. The guy is genuinely trying to help with the situation (I honestly appreciate his efforts) and he says to her "You want to call THE MANAGER" to see what he wants to do" OK! They/Them/She says "yea, but I'm going into the OFFICE" lol I watched her walk to the back and They/Them/She broke the entrance of the office and turns around says (ITS A HARD NO FROM HIM) lol I just smirked and thanked the guy and walked out. All that to say, Zero STAR type of day! I'm not mad or upset about it. Just the Customer service from that one person was trash. Lol I'll definitely be back, I like the store overall. But if this is something that's policy you should definitely have it advertised or at least on the receipt. To let the consumers know that this is what they're signing up for. That's all, That's it. Back to using this as a visual food menu
