Entry to the museum is free (donations accepted). The special exhibit was Puppetry in Minnesota and it was well done. Puppets were hanging from the ceiling and propped up on stands so you could get a feeling of movement. There were two rooms of puppets and one gallery for their permanent displays. Parking was easy and being just off Hwy 61, east to get to. Look for the tower and you won't miss it. Staff was helpful and friendly. I even asked about a piece that didn't seem to have signage to tell me the author and the person helping me went in back to find the answer.

I would suggest eating prior to going food was sub par and so expensive a burger/fries, chicken/fries and soda cost $43. There are too many great restaurants near by to eat mediocre food at the venue. But the venue itself is incredible.

I was turned away from the gate because my bag straps didn't stay firmly within the posted sizes. The bag itself fit with ease, but the security person turned me back because I had to hold the straps in and "that wasn't allowed". For the record, it was the Lululemon crossbody and I saw probably 50 of those inside. I was also frustrated that the drink lines didn't have prices/options posted, and the canned beverage and mixed beverage ordering was all done through the same line so you were waiting a while. We waited in line for 20+ minutes, asked about flavors/options, and the bartender said "if you haven't made a decision I have people in line" and asked us to step aside. Ideally there would be better signage in the future, but I should be able to ask what flavors of Sun Cruiser you have without being chastised. - Ambiance/Layout: Last huge complaint, the parking. We sat, completely stuck, for over an hour after the concert ended. People were leaving every which way, some folks were starting 2 or 3 lines of cars in a single aisle. It was a mess and this needs to be addressed. Will I give it another chance? Sure, they keep booking great artists. Am I excited about this venue? Not in the slightest.

My name is Brooke, and I am the Life Enrichment Director. Today, I brought a group of 27 seniors to enjoy lunch at your restaurant, and I cannot say enough about how impressed we were. Our waitress was the only server working the entire restaurant, yet you never would have known it. She remained calm, organized, and friendly throughout our visit. She treated every one of our residents with genuine kindness, made sure everyone had what they needed, and provided exceptional service from beginning to end. What could have been a very stressful and overwhelming situation turned into a relaxed, enjoyable, and memorable outing because of her professionalism and positive attitude. Our residents have not stopped talking about what a wonderful time they had. In fact, they have already started asking if we can make lunch at the Apple Valley American Legion a monthly outing! That speaks volumes about the welcoming atmosphere and outstanding service we experienced. You can bring your own decorations. The party organizers did order 2 food options for the party (more so lite bites). They were things i don't eat so I asked the bartender about ordering other food and was able to order from the full menu and it was served to me at the party. I got wings which advertised having a special house dry rub, buffalo sauce on the side and a side of fries. The wings weren't the greatest flavor wise. Kind of bland with the dry rub. the fries weren't fine. They had a holiday/December specials menu and I got a few of the Cherry pie cocktails. It was good! Our bartender did a great job all around. She kept the tables clean/cleared off as well as served everyone as needed Parking was fine as they had parking on both sides of the building as well as doors to get in.

We have been happy from day one. Melissa, the owner, has a wonderful disposition and truly cares about her dancers. All of the teachers have been wonderful... And I really feel like this school is challenging my daughter to be a better dancer. Further, they take dance seriously here. Dancers are expected to behave appropriately in class... At our former dance school it was not uncommon to see the girls misbehaving with the teachers not doing anything about it. The teachers here demand respect and the girls follow through, while having fun at the same time. I'm also pleased with how the school does at dance competitions... The teams tend to rate on the higher side consistently... And they work hard to get there. If you're looking for a dance school for your child, I highly recommend the Dance Connection in Rosemount.

The person running the museum has some personal insight into the collection of memorabilia and it is pretty interesting. I usually am slightly adverse to Nazi stuff, but perhaps because of the way it got to be here, I found it more acceptable. They do have a fair collection of German items. They also have some very interesting maps, newspaper articles and letters, etc. that have been collected and are displayed down the hallway. The maps particularly provide some insight. It is small, but has a very local character and is better than I expected. Stop in and look around.
