A few pieces of constructive feedback: - Have a little bit of cushion in between sessions, so that you have time to review notes before a session or in the event your previous session runs over - Have both a structured and more free-flowing option when tutoring in english and writing. While these sessions were useful for me, I found them challenging at times, because I felt my instructor was trying to apply a tutoring methodology that didn't work for me. Be flexible! - Have open study space and/or office hours (which they do now, so yay! I am very excited about this.) Before Brian, everyone we met with was rigid, teaching to the test and frankly, off-putting. In our first meeting with Brian, we were immediately put at ease. His education/background matched with his experience and understanding of teenagers gave us so much confidence. His philosophy is simple, "If we work together, your student will do better on the SAT but, more importantly, he'll be a more confident, successful student. He'll be ready for college."
