I was looking to purchase hair extensions and the guy behind the counter said they didn't have it when I was starring at the hair. He treated me like I was nothing. Sold me an 8-inch bundle & said it was a 12-inch. One minute later I went to return the package after comparing it to a REAL 12-inch bundle the lady refused to return the hair saying it couldn't be resold. I mentioned to her she shouldn't sell it to anyone because it was falsely labeled. I also told her I know she could see well so while physically showing her the difference, she told me to leave and called the police. Don't SHOP WHERE THEY just want to get over on you, and take your money. That lady was wrong and I'm happy she banned me because I will never return. Refused a Tax exempt form for a settlement home of foster kids. They only get 8$ of allowance every week and needed supplies for their hair. The man and woman at the register denied their Tax exempt form, and they didn't have enough money to get their supplies. Very rude & sad read more

Less than one star! Horrible experience. Came in today and was immediately asked to put my CHANEL bag behind the counter. The light skinned Hispanics in here are prejudice against other POC/ darker skinned Hispanics and refuse to help unless begged for assistance. The black and Mexican girl with red hair and glasses seemed bothered that I asked her for help, and even got an attitude when I reiterated what I was looking for and could she help. It's obvious they'd rather sit behind the counter and watch you and their cameras instead of actually doing the job they're paid to do. Owner of my own business, multiple degrees but appear "underage", as I considered maybe this was the reason for my treatment there, however, unacceptable in the least; it mainly just come down to BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will never patronize this shop again and will take my long moneybags elsewhere. There are other beauty supply shops in the area, much better than this one. This store is horrible. Racist and cheap... overpriced and they know it. The owner was very rude because she changed the price on a wig that I was about to buy from 84.99 to 94.99 just wow. Then wanted to holler. They have a brain washed black girl in there that needs to look into getting another job. They don't respect her either . So sad. I would recommend that on one of color shop here. Very rude and could care less about you... change prices accordingly. I was buying the wig off the head and they said they could only discount 2 dollars. Then changed the price to 10 dollars more to reduce it 2 bucks. I've been coming here for years, one of the owners (lady) is always sweet. But last night I went in for a wig and one of the workers wasn't very helpful and actually a little rude. The wig I wanted was sold out, the only one available was the on people try on (they give you a 15% discount). But the condition of the wig at the nape was Horrible!! I'm like that's it, and the worker was like you don't have to buy it! Ummm excuse me, I know that but I'm NOT a wig person and it was the only one that looked decent. And Big Joys was closed, believe me I wouldn't if I didn't need it. So needless to say I'll only be buying lashes if that, from here on out. They won't get my good coins! read more

For now I give it 2 stars. I purchased what I thought was 2 full packs of high remy hair yesterday. I had an appointment already set for today. When my stylist opened up one of the boxes of hair it was only half a role. I've never had this issue before but from here on out I'll check the hair before purchasing. I did speak with an associate over the phone about the issue and she told me to bring the hair back into the store so we'll see what happens. Well after taking the hair back, I had to explain the situation multiple times but the guy that works there did help me out. He told me the cashiers are supposed to open the hair and show you but noone opened my boxes or showed me the actual hair. If you choose to shop here, make sure you check the hair AND get your reciept. The hair itself from the other pack I purchased looks lovely. (Hi Remi) All I would say is, please make sure your employees are following procedures. I DO recommend people to go here just remember; CHECK THE HAIR FIRST! read more

When I walked in I was not greeted by the worker behind the counter. I wanted to find a wig to wear so I went to their wig area. The owners were having a discussion but he made sure to acknowledge me and had the worker in the area help me. I did not experience what the other reviewers have. The only con is there is a limit to how many wigs you can try on which is crazy because I wanted to buy 2 but was only able to get 1 that I definitely liked. To try on wigs you have to pay $ 0.50 for a wig cap. The store is very cluttered and it is difficult to move properly so I probably won't return. Wig was beautiful for $30.00!!! If you have automatonophobia, you will be creeped out upon walking into Supreme Beauty Supply: rows and rows upon mannequin heads line the shelves while sporting different wigs. If you don't have automatonophobia, great news: you just walked into an awesome selection of wigs! It's not the most modern-looking store, and stuff seems to be crammed in every available space, but I didn't care. I swung by here to pick up a wig cap for a Halloween costume. At first, I had no idea where to find them among the heads sitting around the edge of the store. But I eventually stumbled upon the wig caps, weave caps, processing caps, shower caps, and other kinds of caps towards the west side of the store near the cashier. Being a n00b to beauty supplies, I took quite some time comparing the various wig caps that had barely any instructional, descriptive text on the packaging. Finally, I settled on two kinds of mesh wig caps, both of which I showed to the cashier and asked for advice on which would work better for a wig with no clips but with an elastic band. She recommended the simpler one without velcro and threw in a nylon wig cap for free so that I could test that one out, too. I ended up with two wig caps for half the price of one at Lucy in Disguise. Win! The verdict: although Supreme Beauty doesn't have enough staff to walk around and play concierge to confused/indecisive customers, I had fun exploring the store and figuring things out on my own with some help at the end. Finally found a beauty supply store that wasn't a Sally's! My daughter and I both have long natural hair and Sally's doesn't always have the products I need at the price I want. They have a TON of products that are free of mineral oils, sulfate, alcohol, and paraben. I found products line that I had never heard of before and added some of their leave in conditioner to my basket. The owner was really nice and the staff was warm and helpful. The only downside is that some of their products are overpriced and can be found cheaper at Target or on Amazon. read more

I gave him my ID as well as multiple forms of identification and he still refused to let me purchase the hair in Credit only debt. I was in town visiting for a 5k, and forgot some of my daily hair Products at home. I'm a Yelper and traveler so this is my goto to find business in the area of interest. The reviews were not great but it was the closest to my hotel. When I entered the store I was not greeted but followed around the store with out offering any assistance. When I asked for help I was told don't speak English very good English wtf would you hire someone to work in customer service whom interacts with English speaking customers... don't waste your time here. I visited Austin on a girl's trip and was told by someone in a department store that Supreme Beauty was the place to go to find everything that we needed. I got a really good wig on discount and the store owners were friendly and generous. We got a lot of freebies such has lip colors, glosses and eye pencils. It was the thought and kind gesture that counted and not the size or quantity of the freebies. They seem very concerned with customer service and pleasing their clientele. My only concern is that I wished they had a more varied selection of wigs in terms of brand names that one would recognize. They do have brands just I was not familiar with them. Also they have a policy of trying on only 5 wigs per customer. I don't get that at all. That being said I got a really good human hair wig and like I said they really made us feel welcome and we enjoyed the service and experience. read more

I do not recommend this place to anyone. Only been to this store about four times and never had a problem. However the last time was the very last time I or my family will ever go to this store. The owner (a man) displayed very poor customer service in front of myself and my family........he was very rude and not helpful at all. I have never in my 39 years of life experienced this in a place of business. Please be aware of how unprofessional this business is. It is 7:35 pm and I made a trip to pick up some hair products and as I prepare to park I see two women leaving the store. I park my car and I begin to speak to the women as they are locking the door. I ask them why they are leaving because it is still early with 25 minutes left until closing. That's wehen the woman yells out "It's slow so I am closing early." I was shocked because when I googled the time the store didn't close until 8:00 pm. Needless to say I wasn't able to get what I needed and despite me telling the woman I still had over twenty minutes she ignored me and walked to her car. To me when you are in business you should respect your customers enough not to close the door and lock it and you see you have a customer needing to buy items from a business you set a time for. I will never come here again. FYI if you need something from them you may want to go somewhere that remains open until the designated time stated. read more

I bought some really expensive bobby boss indi remi from this place about 4 weeks ago. I have had this type of hair installed about 3 times before and it always lasted a long time and did not shed much at all. These other times I bought the hair, I bought it from Houston or Dallas beauty stores but this was the first time I bought this hair from Supreme. I don't know if they have old weave or don't store it properly but the Bobbi Boss indi remi weave I bought from Supreme was terrible. The hair shed like crazy even as the beautician applied it and she is a well trained professional who had installed this type of hair for me before. I thought it'd cease to shed but nope...the shedding worsened. Not only that but the hair became extremely dry after a week and was not much better days after I washed it. I take good care of the weave I have. Wash and condition it once a week with good products. I wrap it every night and I do not brush it but I only use wide tooth combs to detangle. This hair usually lasts 3 months for me but at the rate I'm going now, it seems it'll barely make 6 weeks. What sucks is that I'll never get back that wasted $190. I'll never buy weave from this store again. read more
