Carrington is horrible! They bought my loan from B of A and the transition was terrible. I began refi but then had to fix stuff first. Now, I am supposed to close refi tomorrow and Carrington will. Not send pay out info. They had 13 days so far and have not sent. Customer service is atrocious. I plan to make a formal complaint to the better business bureau once I am clear of them. It is unfortunate that I have to provide a bad review on yelp on this company. We were dealing with David Andrew Kuczkowski, of Tempe, AZ office. His service was subpar; very unresponsive. We were offered a different product than we applied for, and we turned it down since the rate was much higher than what we already have. Their claim on advertised rate and what they offer you is different, not to mention their subpar customer service. When I attempted to tell David how he could serve us better, he stated, "This is not a conversation we should be having on the telephone". Well, David, if your potential customer can't provide you feedback on how to serve them better on one-on-one, when and how can they? And how can you and Supreme Lending Improve? I guess on public review forums. How awful for Supreme Lending at this branch as I see there are other bad reviews. read more

Wow, I can certainly see why this company has such low ratings!! I received a call from this company, loan officer Dakota, from an inquiry I put in Lending Tree. Dakota was very nice and professional when he was trying to take my money and secure my loan, but as soon as I started hesitating and letting him know I was considering other options (rather than refinancing at a higher rate and paying over $8000 in fees and closing costs), he immediately became unprofessional, pompous and arrogant, talking down to me like I was a child. Not a company I would ever want to do business with or recommend. read more

This place is the worst! Stay away please! I was offered to refinance my loan, advised by Jonathan Marloe (loan officer) that if we get this refinance done soon we will not have to pay January and February. I complied with everything he requested of me in a timely matter (again, to get this done soon). A whole month went by and I hear nothing! I'm sitting there calling almost everyday leaving VM's, emails... Not only to Jonathan but to the branch manager. No reply back for almost a month. Finally I call yet again and get Jonathan on the phone he tells me "let me call you back in 20 minutes"... Never received a call back. A day later I called his supervisor and his supervisor said he would call me back the next business day with Jonathan on the phone. Guess what? Nothing! No call back! Keep in mind I'm sending emails to Jonathan. Finally I call ANOTHER BRANCH spoke with What turned out to be Jonathan's previous supervisor. He was able to get a hold of Jonathan and advices him to call me. Being the professional company that they are, I received an EMAIL! An EMAIL! From Jonathan. Not even a phone call but an email, after almost two months. He lied and said that he emailed me a month ago (obviously not true) or I would have stopped contacting him a month ago! Immediately I called his supervisor left a voicemail to get a call back. AGAIN NO CALL BACK! This place is HORSES*HIT! Oh and F*uck you Jonathan! You coward. read more

Horrible service, almost lost a deal because loan officer ignored contingency deadlines, and contractual obligations. None of the regional, or office managers would push to get the ball rolling. Avoid this company for online loans as they refuse to step up to the plate. This was the worst company I have ever encountered. I began working with "Jeff" three weeks ago and he obtained all of my confidential financial information and has not provided me with numbers or information of any kind. He does not respond to my emails or to my voicemails. I have tried to contact him 3 times with no call back from him. I called the Tempe office and spoke with Brandon (another pseudo loan officer apparently) and he refused to provide me with any contact information for a supervisor. He was rude to me and said they worked without supervision and continued to question me about the situation. I repeatedly tried to speak with a supervisor or obtain a number of a district person and he refused. He was arrogant, rude and upset that I would not work with him and said he would block my phone number. I was lied to and treated badly by these people and I would hope that I could speak with an executive representative of Supreme Lending. read more

RUN! DO NOT USE THIS MORTGAGE COMPANY! Their lack of communication with their team and failure to listen to the customer almost cost us the close of our new home and put us on the street! Our realtor and ourselves are the only reason we managed to get through the most stressful double transaction of our lives! My husband and myself almost ended up in the hospital with chest pains over this, NOT EXAGGERATING ONE BIT! They will not accept accountability for their mistakes! When they say all is going great...DON'T BELIEVE THEM because they don't handle anything until it is push come to shove (11 days before closing)! Rich micromanages the whole process with his team but when something goes wrong....it is the team's fault or the realtor's fault or best of all the client's fault! Typically a realtor doesn't have to get involved in the financing piece but because this lender twisted our whole transaction into a nightmare, we had to get her involved. Thank goodness or we would be homeless right now! A good mortgage company takes care of their clients, something Supreme Lending in Arizona managed to not make a priority in any way! read more

Unfortunately I put alot of trust and faith into Andrew Hopkins Tacoma WA. I was on a time crunch and facing losing my rental due to the landlord moving back in. I found my dream home and of course reached out to Andrew when everything went south. See I had been house shopping for about 6 months and had placed several offers. Andrew told me we were set to go. That I had been approved for a certain amount and to shop away. Then when I find my dream home, I THOUGHT that all that we had to do was determine if he could finance a home that had been moved......What I discovered was that he could not finance a manufactured home for me AT ALL. When I confronted him after the fact He stated that the rates made my debt to income ratio change and thus could not finance, however at the time He claimed he could not finance a Manufactured home. NOT ONCE did he tell me that he could not finance a manufactured home for me. He told me all he could finance was a brick and mortar- which there were none in my price range. Then I switched to another Mortgage lady and she had me approved within 24 hours. Unfortunately by then 7 other offers came in and the house is gone. The realtor even told me had my offer come in the day before, the morning I asked it to be submitted, it would have been an instant accept. So now I am forced to move into another rental and spend my down payment on rental expenses as I have not been able to find anything like what I found. And what I have found I have been massively outbid on. IF Andrew had infact had me pre-approved and worked thru the underwriters AND communicated with me clearly I would have had my dream home. Even my realtor agreed that he had lied to both of us and that he had caused us to lose that house but also placed us in a scary situation with prior offers. I cashed out my investments during the worst possible time to ensure I had a down payment that he told me would ensure I could buy the house I wanted by going conventional. His advice was the WORST possible advice and now due to his lies and misinformation I have to move into another rental and lose over 10k on moving, rental fees etc etc. Initially I did not want to post this review as Andrew seems like a genuine good person, but I feel like his advice and his misrepresentation completely ruined my financials and my home buying potential. I want others to be aware and strongly reconsider if he is the person to be working with. Consider a more experienced mortgage person especially if you can not afford to mess around and miss out on a home. read more

Terrible. I contacted them as they said they work with teachers and give back. I wanted to get rid of my PMI and switch from a FHA to a conventional loan. I was assured that would not be an issue- but from reading the other reviews, you know how that turned out. Jenn Moreti must have ran my credit 4 times and kept asking me to pay so she could fit me into a loan. Then as my current mortgage was due, she said they would take care of any late fee and this was all normal. I told her several times how uncomfortable I was making my payments late and ended up paying the fee and the note myself. Thats when she really stopped communicating. I would wait days for a response. She costed me more than if I just waited to refi. And never paid any of the late fees she promised. Her words dont match her actions. Go with someone else. read more

I chose Supreme Lending to refinance an existing jumbo mortgage that I have with JP Morgan Chase, which was 1-year into a 7/1 ARM at 4.375%. I started the process on 6/19/19 with Ozzy Lara out of their Arizona branch who was very helpful and responsive. I looked at a number of mortgage lenders including, but not limited to JPM Chase, Rocket Mortgage / Quicken, Amalgamated, Lending Tree, etc. After completing all the required docs and a credit check on 6/19 (my credit score is over 800), I was locked in at 3.375% rate on a Jumbo 5/1 ARM with Supreme Lending and a close date targeted on or before 7/18. Supreme Lending had the best deal out there, which should have told me something. On 6/22, Ozzy Lara looked at my income and had spoken to the Underwriter and said, "your in great shape income wise". Unfortunately, Ozzy left Supreme Lending the next day and I was introduced to Brandon Kurtz who assured me everything would proceed business as usual with my refinance. Brandon verified that that he had all docs needed and ordered the appraisal ($860), which was completed on 6/29. I went on vacation on 6/30. I periodically check-in'd with Brandon while was out of town and I was assured multiple times that everything was "on track", but I had my doubts. The appraisal came in fine and I was assured again on 7/7 that "everything was on track", but I still felt like something was off. On 7/10 (3 weeks after the start of this process) I get a call from the Arizona branch manager, Clinton Alcom, with some questions about my income and after providing some additional information to him he explained to me that I couldn't qualify for the loan. Keep in mind that Supreme Lending had all of my income information and all required documents for 3 weeks! Additionally, my income increased from the time that I closed on the original loan with JPM and this refinance was essentially the same loan amount (Ozzy had rolled in my pro-rated property taxes YTD into the new loan). Clinton then proceeded to try and push other loan products on me that he claimed I could qualify for which I didn't want because I had already done my due diligence on various loan products. Additionally, I had to threaten him with filing a complaint with the state for my $860 appraisal refund (JPM didn't need to do an appraisal because I will be doing a loan modification with them now, so there was no need to reuse the appraisal). The $860 credit was authorized today after I had cc'd the Dallas branch manager on my email demanding the refund. He got their customer complaint / customer service person involved and I explained the entire mess to her this evening. Now, I had to go back to JPM for the refinance. Rates have moved up 1/8th of a point since I started this process, so it is now going to cost me an extra $100 per month in additional payments on my refinance over 6 years. This is a cost to me of $7,200 over the refinancing term, which wouldn't have happened if I went with JPM Chase in the first place. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING DOING BUSINESS WITH SUPREME LENDING. Just go with JPM Chase or one of the big banks and avoid these non bank lenders. read more

If I wanted to change something to my loan, simple things like adding more every month to my payment, I had to wait for papers to arrive in the mail and send them back out. Problems logging into the website despite knowing my password and username. Do not have a mobile app, which for 2016 is pretty inconvenient. Over all it has been a pretty bad experience. read more

My mortgage was sold to Carrington three months ago and my payment is now three months behind! They wont let me make a payment...I have never dealt with a company as shady as these people are. They tell me my account number is wrong (which it wasn't) then they send me statements in the mail saying the payment went through with a confirmation number, after each time of calling and recalling to get the payments through...not so. I am still trying to get the payments to go through!!! I should mention that they have been adding late fees on to the amount and now I've received a forclosure notice!!!! This is a very dishonest company and should not be in buisness. I don't know what to do! Any advice??? read more

Our loan was purchased by Carrington from Bank of America over a year ago. The customer service and servicing of our loan has been terrible. The payment process has always been a huge pain, and now you have to pay a fee to make a payment online. I requested to get my paper bills in the mail again so that I could mail in my payment with a payment stub. This in itself was a huge hassle. I was transferred to so many different people, all of whom gave me inaccurate instructions on how to get my paper bill in the mail again. I made that request three months ago. A few days after I made that request I received a copy of a paper statement with no payment stub and I have not received anything since since. We will be refinancing with another company just to get away from Carrington. read more

they said they could close the loan in 30 days but it took 67days. the problem was poor communication on their part. the loan officer said its in underwriting, they said its in processing and they said loan officer hasn't given them the loan. the brank manager was no help. we had to go to the vp of the company to get it done. good thing is it sounds like the vp will fire a few folks. he wasn't happy. read more
