As the current record holder for the "met-to-bought" time of 5 years, I have nothing but great things to day about this team, especially our phenomenal agent Garett Chatham. I only have one warning for the Gluch Group, specifically John Gluch: you need to fight like hell to keep Garett on your team at all costs. He is the best asset you've got. Where Garett goes, we go. And we're taking everyone we come across with us. Story time: Long, long ago, on an island far, far away, we started our house hunt. In February 2018, we took a trip from Hawaii to Arizona to check out the area and homes. My wife and I have never been to Arizona before this trip, but we loved what we saw. When we returned to Hawaii, we looked through websites and Yelp reviews looking for a realtor. Gluch Group stood out. We started working with Garett almost immediately and went over our plan to move by that summer. Well, our first setback (blessing) came when we found out we had our first child on the way due in November. We received a lovely gift package from Gluch Group for me, my wife, and our baby on the way. That's when he knew we were never going to leave or be taken away from Garett and the Gluch team. We finally put our home up for sale Hawaii and made the move to Phoenix in July 2019 and planned to purchase by the end of the year. We met with Garett and discussed areas around Phoenix that he felt would be a good fit for families like us. He was honest every step of the way. The housing market gave us a fighting chance. Although we really wanted to be homeowners, we trusted Garett with everything. He knew our life story and knew what would work best for us. Every word he spoke was the truth and in our best interest because he truly cared. If we liked a house and brought it up to Garett, he gave the home a thorough review and gave us detailed information and honest feedback on why we should put in an offer or why we should avoid the home. We have so much respect and trust in Garett that if he didn't like a house, we knew we wouldn't like it if we went against his advice. He knew exactly what we wanted and our minds were in sync during the entire 5-year-long process. 2023 came and after 5 long, hard-fought, tear-filled years, it finally happened. We met Garett again at home site, had a discussion and looked at the home together. We were ready, we liked the home. When Garett said he like the home and the deal, we knew the home would be ours and we would love it. We finally became homeowners and we love our new home. He was just as excited as us, and for us, when we got the great news. Garett began as our agent, but became so much more than that over the years. From tears of sadness to tears of joy, Garett has seen it all from us. Never once did he say, imply, or make us feel that we should "give up and call back when we're ready".
