More like 4.5 stars! We frequently purchase our meat from here, especially their whole brisket (usually between 16-19 lbs) and most recently we purchased a plate of beef ribs for our smoking adventures. This is an old school, mom and pop type of place. Hand-written FYI signs everywhere, a mix of homemade items and Italian grocery specialties, and the guys that run it are very NY and great! In addition to our most frequently purchased cut (brisket for our smoker!) we also LOVE their homemade garlic marinated mozzarella. These are the smaller mozz balls and they're kept in garlic oil that could keep every vampire away from you. They have some anti-pasta items as well as canned/jarred goods, and even fun Italian sodas. Lots of freezer food too- prepared foods like dinners and soups (think Italian!) and also some frozen meat products. I don't think their prices are cheap (we wouldn't shop here weekly for meat), but I do feel like we get quality product always. We also like to call ahead to ensure they have what we want. Last week, we decided we wanted to make those amazing beef "dinosaur" ribs. We tried Costco, Fresh Market, and a few other places but Supreme Meats reigned supreme with their product. read more

I have shopped here many times and have been extremely satisfied with every purchase. The ground beef actually taste like ground beef with no pink slime when cooking it. It cost a little more for quality black Angus beef but we'll worth it. They custom cut for me and that's hard to find now a days. Try it, you won't be disappointed read more

I wanted a stuffed pork roast for Easter and no other market was offering to stuff a roast. So I called Supreme Meats who agreed to stuff the roast for me with spinach, cheese and Prosciutto ham (there usual stuffing) used when someone wants a stuffed roast. The person who took my order told me it would cost me $50 to $60 dollars to which I agreed to. Now it begins: 1. On Friday, the 18th, I went to pick up my roast which was 5 to 6 lbs. stuffed to the price of $143.00?? Are you kidding me!! I almost fainted. I explained to the person waiting on me what the cost was suppose to be according to the person I spoke to on Tuesday; which was to be $50 to $ 60 dollars with stuffing included. 2. So the butcher takes the roast back and starts mumbling to his partner (who I believe was the owner) and they decided to charge me $104.00 instead. So once again, I repeated to him what the initial price was. 3. So the butcher for the second time turns to the owner who then said just charge her $84 for the roast. I COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EARS NOR WHAT JUST TOOK PLACE. 4. SO FOR THE THIRD TIME they were negotiating the price. I was then told that the prosciutto was expensive that's the problem; what BS. There was no problem with the price of anything when I first ordered the roast. The problem was they were tring to cheat me. Finally, after trimming off 2lbs from the roast, I paid $65. When I got home I took a closer look at my roast. It consisted of 2Lbs. of pork stretched to accommodate a ton of spinach and cheese. I was completly dissatisfied. NEVER WILL I GO THERE AGAIN. There is an old saying: It takes and Italian to @#@$#@!! another Italian and this Italian market fits this saying perfectly. read more

I love the service I get when I'm in here! They make me feel like a princess. Lol so many great boar head meats, cheeses, olives, etc. they have a great selection of sauces, jams, and a ton of Italian pasta and sauce items. I really love their corn beef in the package. It's always fresh and tastes good. The frozen section is so handy when it comes to dinners. The lasagna feeds my family of five even though when you see the size you wouldn't think so. Lol I just add a salad to it and we're good to go. Literally anything you choose here you're going to be happy with. My favorite thing to grab and eat on the way back home after I bought. My meat is the garlic knots. The Caprese salad is also my go to if I'm hungry. I just got filet mignon's here and I would say each one of them was 8 ounces and they were about 20 bucks each give or take a few dollars. I got two packs of two and they were $87. Plus a few other things which I'm telling you you have to go by this place and check out. The ambience is very inviting and as I said the staff there is very welcoming. You won't be disappointed . Very good chicken piccata from their freezer section. - great taste, but too much sauce. It was like I had 4 cups of soup leftover after we ate the chicken. I look forward to trying the meatloaf tomorrow! The fresh mozzarella is amazing- nice and salty! I look forward to trying more of their frozen selections. I find the prices of the frozen selections comparable to higher end restaurant prices, but that is not necessarily out of order. The food was tasty and I prefer to eat at home. The chicken piccata was listed as serving sized for 2 servings. That is accurate if you are a small to medium sized human. Reasonable, but Would have liked another bite or two of chicken. (Especially with the price!) Keep that in mind if you are feeding a bunch of football players. The butcher case looks amazing! I'll consider the next time I have a bbq. Friendly service as well. I wish it was twice the size with a great bakery but it is true to its butcher shop roots. Overall- great food but a tad expensive. I'll be back! read more

We were trying to buy a better quality prime rib roast so we went to this store which has high reviews. We bought a 7 pound rib roast for our Christmas dinner which cost almost $200. It tuned out to be tough, flavorless, and had a big piece of gristle right in the middle. We have rarely ever been as disappointed in an expensive meat selection as this one. We will never go back to that store. read more

Old school meat and italian specialty market. It's the only place i can find imported italian items, the meat is well worth the price. I have never been disappointed. It's extremly hard to find certain items i'm use to here in Port st Lucie, so paying alittle more is worth it to me. I would rate them zero stars if available after my experience yesterday. Having been a customer for many years and being mostly satisfied I was extremely disappointed when I went in for filets for a family dinner. I choose to continue wearing a mask and received a very rude and disrespectful reception from the staff. When I hadn't chosen my frozen items fast enough for the person serving me he ridiculed me. Then made a production of asking me if I was SURE I was ready to check out. The political ornamentation made it all crystal clear what was happening. They must be doing very well with their business as they just lost this customer, who, as I previously stated, have been a customer for years. To add insult to injury, the filets were common at best. I have lived in Stuart area for 20 years. I love Supreme Meats - their meats and prepared foods are excellent. However, I think their staff have a real attitude - not that friendly, very abrupt, and just do not seem like they want to take any time with customers to answer questions and to be sure they are giving you what you want. If you ask for a receipt, they act like they are being put upon. This week I bought a little over a half pound of ground chuck and a prepared stuffed mushroom - a total of about $18. When I asked why it was $18, the butcher acted like it was no big deal, "just what they cost" - the mushroom on the counter top, was more than $13. So, I am going to stay away for a while. read more

The Eggplant Parmigiana is amazing, 11/10. The sauce was delectable, the eggplant was tender, the cheese and seasoning were delicious. Imagine your old Italian grandmother cooking all day, playing Italian music, and serving you this. And then she yells at you that you are eating too fast. I used to go there for the Italian sausage, but the hard casings have turned me off. They must not be soaking and rinsing the casing of salt. Salt makes the casing tough. read more

This is a legit store, and has all the classic things you would find at an Italian deli! Several choices of meats, fresh mozzarella, olives and more! I sadly don't get to come here much since it's in Florida near where my parents live. But I can understand why they love it so Much! The whole staff is very friendly and seem to recognize what their regular customers order frequently.
