Service after the sale is as important as the installation. We had the lock replaced by Patio Enclosures about 7 years ago. The technician was friendly and helpful. Based on the hold music it appears the franchise has been sold. If it wasn't for the insurance paying for the roof, I would not have it replaced. We have continuing problems with the sliding doors. They barely slide now and most will not lock without a lot of effort. Based on my interaction this morning, I would absolutely never recommend Patio Enclosures to anyone.

The material they used for the deck top rail, cap rail and baluster is poor quality. Wood is bowing porous cracking. The balusters are plastic. We plan to replace it. Buyer beware. DO NOT USE THEM.

Had S&S concrete pour a new patio in April 2026. The patio is satisfactory except for area at the…read moredoor that is too high, and Cameron was very nice and professional. However, the yard around the patio was not repaired well at all, as they state in the contract. They had to remove huge tree roots from under the old patio, but left them in the ground where they drive the bobcat up to do the work. The area at the end of the patio is much lower and large tree roots remain across the area, preventing laying sod. They scattered grass seed sporadically and a bale of straw, which blew everywhere. And they could easily have taken out the roots when they were here.I do not consider this repair and phone calls to Cameron are unanswered. I have pictures.

Simply because I never even knew about posting reviews on YELP. (did Yelp exist in 2012, 2013?? ,) Why Jeff is responding 2 yrs later years after the original post is bizarre. He obviously doesnt watch his reviews. Enough on that. It was a total mess. Nicholasville is 2 hours away from Louisville. ( IT WAS NEVER SUGGESTED THIS WAS TOO FAR, as a matter of fact, we were told they had several Louisville clients.) What in the hell?? They never should have taken on a site that far. The weather, NO ONES FAULT, was awful. Months of rain, which left our backyard a mess for months since they couldn't work. An outlier no one could forsee, WE GET THAT!!! Eventually, the work that was done wasn't good. A firepit that had to be redone because of unlevel work, causing ponding. Pond only 14 inches deep. (Good grief, a veritable sushi bar for Herron!) Damn. As far as we're concerned, the main issue was the distance between between the main shop and job. No supervision by the "boss" Aka "Mr. Duggins" 2 hours to travel to a worksite is a joke. His staff seemed to mean well, but there is only so much you can do. And yes, they constantly spit and we found numerous soft drink cans buried around the sight when redoing. Yes, they plowed over a small new willow tree and killed it. OK, STUFF HAPPENS, WE GET IT, BUT CMON. Seems Jeff was/is an entrepreneur trying desperately to increase his business. His original intentions were most likely very honorable. Unfortunately, it didn't work for us. We give everyone a fair shake, but sometimes, people ( businesses) screw up. It happens. H2O screwed up. Own it, deal with it, move on.Quit throwing blame and making excuses. We really wanted nothing but the best for our $$$ and we didnt get it. A lot of what he " remembers " is incorrect. Truly, we don't care. We eventually got our pond $17,000+ later) without his help. He needs to let this go, admit it just didn't work out in this case, quit demonizing clients, and learn from the experience, as we have. Spend less time on trying to justify poor work from years ago, and take care of current customers. I'm sure this business has many happy customers.
