The salesman Scott Moore promised installation in October/November which never happened. Then Andre promised December. That didn't happen either. Allie promised January installation. They came and worked two days and finished half and promised to come back Monday. They never showed up and never called. Finally they came back a MONTH later and finished in February 2025, FIVE MONTHS after we purchased. Chris, the installer, told me I would get an invoice but instead, Aaron had me sued ten days later. Aaron is a piece of work. Aaron yelled at me and when I asked to speak to his Supervisor, he said he didn't have one, yelled some more and hung up on me. No one ever answers the phone in the office. You have to leave message after message to get anyone to respond to you. We contacted our lawyer to answer their lawsuit. Basically they did such a LOUSY job that Aaron wanted to give us $250 to sign a non-disclosure agreement to forbid us to give reviews. WHAT? No way. The installers left debris everywhere and one window sill needed to be replaced and was not. Hopefully they come and fix that but this has been the WORST experience ever with a vendor. It wasn't even cleaned when put in. The small one in the bathroom had a pink 1-inch strip all around it when looking up. They came out said not sky light. Had them come out and look at the problems . They cleaned the sky light. I think the sky lights are cheaply made. A year ago I noticed a 2 inch crack on ceiling and all down the walll. A perfect line up from the sky light and wall. After alot of phone calls they came out and said it looked like a nail had come up. They looked at walls and ceiling. They hammered it down. Still leaking. Sent video of wall and ceiling leaking. Never heard back. Called a few more times. They said they got the video. Came out and found there was 4 or 5 shingles that was the problem. This was October. If they would have checked the shingles, it could have saved months of trouble. Asked if they were going to repair my ceiling and wall. He said he would check back and call me. Called in mid-December and left message. Fast forward February, called left message again. Called again. Got a call from the guy making the repairs. After a year, it is done. I hope it holds up. I am not sure. They had a habit of not returning calls. It was a nightmare. I have a list of all my caIls to and from them. Not enough room here to write of everything. I would not recommend them. This took much too long to fix a problem they had created.

Despite the door being under warranty, it took three weeks for a technician to initially come out. That visit lasted approximately five minutes, at which point I was told a replacement part was needed. It then took seven weeks for the part to arrive, followed by another week to schedule the installation. When the technician finally arrived to install the part, he was unable to remove the door from the track and left without completing the repair. After another week of repeated follow-ups on my part, I was told a return visit would be scheduled to address the issue. Unfortunately, the follow-up appointment resulted in a no-call, no-show. No one contacted me to explain the absence or to reschedule. What should have been a straightforward warranty repair has turned into a prolonged and frustrating experience due to poor communication, excessive delays, and missed appointments. This level of service is unacceptable.

I'm having other renos to my home and several other service people noticed these replacement and comments how well these doors were installed. They next replaced custom interior door - also went great. I next had them and other vendors quote some window replacement. They were not the cheapest, but the quality of the door installs were so good, plus they were willing to work with aspects of my security system as well as change the window style from double-hung to casement, so I went with them. It was to be a 2 day installation, but in the middle of day 1, we realized some of the windows weren't manufactured as expected. I immediately contacted Steven, my sales rep. After we spoke for a few minutes, he acknowledged the issue and assured me they would work with me to come to a satisfactory solution. Long and short of it is that they did work with me and we crafted a solution that I'm very pleased with. Plus, I was so impressed with their professionalism that I've now ordered my remaining windows replaced with them. I've read a lot of reviews for many vendors where complaints were made, and often the reviews are negative. I'll say this - renovate enough and you will occasionally run into issues. It happens, even with good companies. But the difference between vendors is in how they handle those issues. The Door Store gets an A+ from me. High quality, excellent service, and highly professional - not just the management but ever single service person in my home. Worth every penny.
