I was at my primary care physician's office and, again, going through all of these ailments. She told me about this Dr who had recently opened his office in Joliet. She went and made a call and that doctor would see me as soon as I got there (WHAT?!?!!!!). That was Dr.Cheema's office. When I arrived to his office, his staff was so kind and truly cared for my well-being. I saw Dr Cheema within a couple minutes after completing the necessary forms. Dr Cheema LISTENED and we developed a plan together to treat each issue as we could. I felt as though I was his only patient (which I definitely was not!!!). I was on my was to feeling better, whether it was with medication, acupuncture, injections and more. If you are experiencing ANY kind of pain: Headaches, knee pain, back pain, cervical (neck) pain, lower back (lumbar) pain, numbness, whatever it may be, please do yourself a favor, and please stop suffering through pain, even being uncomfortable, and call Dr. Cheema's office and get the treatment that is perfect for YOU. He did small adjustments (some I couldn't even believe actually did anything!) and some accupuncture. Leaving his office, I always felt great. I went once a week for about a month and now I got once every 3-4 weeks for a "tune-up." Which is much better than going multiple times a week to a chiropractor! For my hip, I was having some groin pain for 2 weeks that was not going away. My physical therapist thought it was muscle related. My trainer thought it was some sort of pinched nerve. I see Dr. Feely and my hip was too far forward, so it was pinching in that area. The referral came very highly recommended and admittedly I had positive expectations. The result was that I made two visits to see the doctor and was treated with some adjustments and acupuncture. Dr. Feely is a man of few words so you can't help but wonder if you're being heard, understood or simply judged. Comparatively, his nurse is cheerful and personable. I was without insurance during my visits but have had insurance for the past 15 years. I was charged over $800 for two visits which came out of my pocket. I have never paid so much in my life for a routine outpatient visit. I spoke later to the freelance bookkeeper who reduced my bill down to "what we would bill the insurance company." This amounted to about a $300 discount. Wow! If the patient is paying out-of-pocket (on the spot) without insurance, why are we paying MORE? Does the doctor believe that this helps create loyal return customers? Is he only wiling to work with folks with insurance? Maybe it was just me or my referral that caused me to be charged so much. It certainly made me wonder. The front desk said that this was standard practice. My symptoms were not relieved in any way. I stopped coming and wrote a negative review on Yelp. What a rip-off.

So, it seems very strange to me that when I call the office for the first time in 2 years reporting an acute inflammation and pain flare-up asking to fill a prescription for an emergency Prednisone pack (which is what helped me in the past), I get a callback 5 hours later with their secretary's barely intelligible instructions on how to take Aleve twice a day with food. Did anyone even bother to look at my chart and medical history? A whooping 5 seconds would have revealed that I was under observation for the last year, following doctor's suggestion to gradually get off my current medications and reporting an acute flare-up is definitely a RED FLAG. Inexcusable. Also, how little am I informed about how to take Aleve after 10 years of joint pain? Why would I bother calling the office if I wasn't panicking in unbearable pain that I haven't felt in 7 years? Criminal carelessness and neglect.

Ketamine IV Solution of Chicago gets 1 star. The nurses and doctors are fine. They could certainly be more attentive, but they do their job to a satisfactory level. The problem is with the front staff that answer phone calls. Specifically, CARA and ZOE are angry when you call to make appointments. I just got off the phone to schedule my booster infusion and Cara was combative when it came to scheduling my appointment. It was bizarre. I have tried to report Zoe for similar behavior, but never received a call back. It's important that when people with PTSD and depression call to make an appointment for treatment, they are not treated like a nuisance. There's also a security issue when it comes to entering the clinic. It's located in the basement of a building, with no controlled entry access. I recall after my last infusion, I forgot my phone charger in the infusion treatment room. I was able to stroll into the clinic and into an infusion room to retrieve my charger, completely undetected. If you're interested in ketamine infusions, I highly recommend you seek an alternative clinic.

He offers extensive medical testing such as detail blood work, saliva, hair, urine/stool testing even your core energy field. He gives you a lot of paperwork/graphs/charts of your test results and goes over them to you in detail and you don't feel rushed. Dr. Galera is a medical Doctor so he can also prescribe pharm drugs as well as natural supplements (this is in his office). He helped me with my imbalanced hormones. Keep in mind his supplements can be a bit pricey. He's the only doctor that was able to answer my "whys" of how I emotionally feel, visible symptoms, and other issues that I use to have. So if you prefer seeing a holistic doctor than conventional ones, then he's a person to meet. However, they lost one star from me because they no longer take health insurance as o June 1, 2013. It is now Fee-for-Service practice with Payment-In-Full at the time of services rendered. For the cost of their services it is pricey.
