Delivered fresh and beautiful and when needed. They are perfect. They were a breath of fresh air to usher in spring.

    Gorgeous, fragrant and perfect!

Thanks to the kind and professional staff at Surf City Florist, I was able to arrange (from Colorado) for the perfect bouquet to celebrate my cousin's 50th birthday! I was even able to send a personalized card to Surf City Florist, in advance of the delivery, so it would accompany the flowers. Lauren helped me with all the details - the vase, the color & type of flowers and most of all, ensuring they were fragrant! I strongly recommend this florist and greatly appreciate their assistance so that her birthday was special, even though COVID prevents me from being in NC to celebrate with her!

Once again Surf City Florist has done an outstanding job!! They always provide excellent service! This arrangement I had sent to my mom is overflowing with flowers unlike some places that use a lot of filler!!!!!!!!

    3 1/2" in diameter!

You have to be kidding me! My grandson and I ordered a wrist corsage and boutonniere for his first ever Homecoming dance. He is a high school senior, so this was kind of a big deal and he was so excited. When we went to pick up the flowers, we opened the box to see that the wrist corsage was a size better suited for a 5 year-old girl rather than a 17 year old girl. It was ridiculous! Look at the pictures. The wrist corsage literally fit in the palm of my little 65 year old lady hand! It was only 3 1/2" in diameter....not kidding! (Check out measurement in 3rd photo) My grandson's boutonniere, made with the same flowers, is almost the same size as the wrist corsage! It's actually embarrassing for him to present it to his date tonight because it's going to make him look like a cheapskate when in fact it was $58.71 for the two items. Next time we'll just visit the nearby Harris Teeter flower department. Ugh, this sucks.

    Not worth the money

my husband sent Mother's Day flowers while on deployment and while I appreciate the thought the pretty penny he paid was not worth it. It looks like they grabbed a handful of each type of flower and stuck it in the vase and off it went to my door step.

Delivered Monday and this was taken on Thursday morning! Sad!

Ordered a bouquet through the on line service which touted same day delivery. Ordered on Thursday and was told the earliest delivery was the following Monday and that my order would be upgraded due to the delay. I was there when the order arrived and the flowers were droopy and not fresh. The bouquet was NOT upgraded. The filler pieces died in 48 hours As you can see in the picture. contacted the 800 service and local shop. They both said I got what I paid for. Really? $70?

Emailed order at 9:30am and they were delivered by 2pm the same day!! I live in Raleigh and wanted to send birthday flowers for my mother who lives in North Topsail. Judy was quick to respond to my email, and pleasant over the phone when I gave payment info and specific delivery directions. I highly recommend this florist!

I asked for orange-coral flowers. What color are these? Pink.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. Absolutely horrible. My mom went in several weeks before my wedding (I was still in NYC and not able to go in person myself yet) and specifically asked for white lilies with a variety of coral flowers mixed in. My mom SPECIFICALLY explained that we absolutely did NOT want "pink" coral flowers, we wanted "orange" coral flowers. It was written right there in black and white on my order sheet. I even sent my mom the Pinterest board I made with bouquet ideas and APPROPRIATELY colored flowers, which she showed to Judy during this visit. Last week, I personally went in and spoke to another women, who looked up my order and confirmed what type of flowers that would be ordered and regurgitated the "ORANGE NOT PINK" note at the end of the form. I thought I was all set. WRONG. Today, my wedding day, my dad went to pick up the bouquet because we were promptly informed that they DO NOT deliver. What a disaster. First of all, the lovely Judy had put in THREE unopened lilies. That's right people, my bridal bouquet had buds in it, since the flowers hadn't bloomed yet. The "mixed coral flowers" were blatantly pink. Oh, and she also mixed in some HORRIBLE greenery which looked like it was covered in white mold. My parents and I are very forgiving and understanding people, so my mom called Judy to try and figure out where the miscommunication was and to see if we could fix the problem since there were still a few hours before my wedding. Judy became extremely defensive, informed my mother that she did NOT say to order orange flowers (keep in mind that I have the order form that clearly says orange, not pink... oh, and that her assistant confirmed it with me again last week), and that she made the bouquet perfectly to order. Well, that didn't sit very well with any of us. Long story short, my mom ran up the road to Food Lion and grabbed more appropriately colored roses, tore Judy's "masterpiece" apart and in 20 minutes had made a more beautiful bouquet than Judy could have ever hoped to make. My mother single handedly saved my wedding pictures. Everyone makes mistakes. And we are very understanding when a person acknowledges their mistake and takes steps to improve the situation. I just want to warn other brides that Judy is NOT that kind of person and you're better off making your own floral arrangements than placing your fate in her hands. Oh and by the way, my tiny bouquet of roses, lilies, the fungus greenery and alstroemeria (the cheapest flower on the market) was a gut-wrenching $150. That amount would have been fine if it had been a beautiful floral arrangement executed perfectly to our instructions. Instead, it was a solid waste of $150 on careless work performed by an indifferent business owner. Like I said, STAY AWAY. Harris Teeter has beautiful flowers and if you don't want them to make your bouquet then I suggest just buying stems from them and making your own. Trust me, you'll be able to throw something together that will be more beautiful and more affordable than anything Surfy City florist will ever offer you.
