She has completed two installations and I'm waiting on the paper for the third. Valentina was very easy to schedule. We exchanged a few texts discussing the specifics of the job, the area to be worked and dates that were available. On the day of the first installation Valentina arrived on time and prepared with all the materials she would need. She was so considerate and thoughtful to wear shoe covers when in my home. After a few hours of getting to work Valentina let me know she was finished. She had already packed up all of her supplies and placed all the trash in a bag that she provided! The first mural Valentina installed was the neutral tone mural in my guest bedroom 2. It was FANTASTIC. Valentina's ability to precisely match up the edges of the paper was incredible thus making the wallpaper appear like an actual painting! I loved this look so much I ordered wallpaper for my guest bedroom 1 and Valentina returned for that installation as well! And again, Valentina's application amazed me! I'm literally looking for more spaces in my home where Valentina can work her magic! It's amazing how wallpaper... when installed properly...can truly transform a room and bring it to life. A skilled installation, such as Valentina's work truly makes that magic happen.

I'm so happy to have discovered Wallpaper City. It's wonderful to have access to such an extensive…read morecollection of beautiful wallpaper on the Westside. The team is genuinely friendly, patient and helpful. They took the time to answer my questions, offer thoughtful advice and made what could have been an overwhelming process feel easy and enjoyable. Their knowledge of wallpaper, materials and installation is invaluable. It's rare to find a business with this level of expertise and customer service. I highly recommend Wallpaper City to anyone looking for beautiful products and guidance from people who really know (and love) what they do.

BEYOND HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT SHOP HERE. WAS TREATED LIKE TRASH…read more 1. INCORRECT QUOTING - First off, they quoted me wrong (almost half of what I needed due to what I presume to be an inexperienced worker who was absolutely clueless). I trusted that they were correct, had my client pay, but when I showed the quote to my wallpaper technician I have been using for years, he told me that it was not enough and that they quoted me at single rolls and not double rolls - they should have caught this since it was in writing!!!!! I had already taken payment from client and now she does not want to spend more. Furthermore, the sales lady there BLAMED ME - yes - ME, for not catching it despite that it was actually THEIR MISTAKE! While I was there, the sales lady was making more mistakes with the other customer there, and you could tell the woman was also frustrated. I hope she does not order here. They are always changing staff every time I go there, and it's typically a crabby person. 2. RIDICULOUS AND PUNISHING BOOK CHARGE: When first came in, they tried to charge me $75 PER BOOK. I told them that I had shopped there before and was NEVER charged this ever. The sales lady said "Well I've never seen you". I laughed and told her I'd not seen her, that I had been a client since 2017 and to look up my account. I believe I even told her the name of my business, and she went to the owner and he approved the old charge of $15/book (industry standard) because he knew me. The deposit goes towards the purchase - totally cool. Then she was nice and calmed down - at least this time.. I was fully prepared to show them old invoices since they were giving me a bit of a hard time... They told me that the reason they do that is because people shop online, etc. - I get it. I am an interior designer and also a business owner myself. Totally get it, BUT to ASSUME I am not going to buy out the gate is disrespectful - just keep reading. I probably checked about five books. As to respect them, I also brought the books back on time as promised. 3. DISRESPECTFUL, AGGRESSIVE, DISCRIMINATOR-Y AND NEGATIVELY ASSUMPTIVE- STAFF AND OWNER: I came in a second time today, 7-14-26, to do shopping for the elevator and theater bathroom on the same project. I approached the woman who had worked with me before. Though she made it clear she was not the one who quoted me and said she didn't like that I blamed her and made sure she said it loud and clear -ironically in front of her other customer. She was there with a client and the owner was also there helping the customer, so I thought I could tell her the error in my quote from the week before. I told her that the original York quotation was wrong and that it caused my client to become very upset and now I had to shop again for a different paper because she did not want to spend more than the original incorrect quote. She immediately became extremely defensive and rude to me - in front of her customer. I told her I'm going to have to reselect the paper because my client does not want to spend more money due to it being quoted incorrectly. After the other client left, the saleswoman aggressively approached me , pointed, and started yelling at me saying that she didn't appreciate me accusing her of being wrong, and I should not have said anything in front of her customer. I reacted by stating "We'll, I don't appreciate being quoted incorrectly and being given incorrect information that caused my client to be upset. I WAS IN SHOCK! I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED THIS WAY BY A SALESPERSON EVER. I understand mistakes - but WOW. Now I have to buy another cheaper paper and spend more time due to their mistake. Sure - everyone makes mistakes -I did not mean to embarrass her, or cause the other customer to also be worried about the order (though she should). Im sure she was worried about loosing the other customer, but not my problem. I am too busy to worry about how and when to tell a salesperson that my quote was incorrect - I mean seriously? They made a mistake. DO NOT approach me with aggression. DO NOT blame or accuse the client -EVER! Just acknowledge the error, regardless of whose it was, and address the concern, drama free. Take care of the client. It's common sense and it's Sales and Customer Service 101. It kept escalating, and I knew Neil the owner from the past, so I asked to speak to h I thought hed be reasonable being that I'v ordered from him before. To my surprise, he came out and started yelling at me as well and saying "you're not really a customer are you. You're not really going to buy!!" Woman shouted out like an auctioneer $75! Now its $75 a book - sure punish me. NOT SHOPPING HERE. DO NOT AWARD BAD BEHAVIOR BY SHOPPING HERE. They don't deserve yours or my business. SHAME ON WALLPAPER CITY

She came the first day and explained that my room was too warm so she agreed to come back the following day. her prices were a minimum of 25% below the next competitor. but more than anything else is that she knew her business!! the job looks amazing! so easy to work with. I had just made my final decision to do an accent wall resulting from an episode of Home Town. After a frantic search for the wallpaper, I began my search for an installer. Folks traditional painters remove wallpaper but you really need to look for a paper installer if you're serious about the job getting done right! Kathryn and I corresponded via YELP email, text and voice mail. I don't think I ever waited one hour for a response. I told her how big the wall was, sent her a link to the paper; she told me how much to order and quoted a price. She gave me some tips too which I found helpful like: Check the dye lots and ensure it's the paper you ordered. We agreed once paper arrived and confirmation ready to proceed, we'd set up a date! She arrived this morning right on time. (I needed to push original appt to an hour later for personal reasons) no problem. She's no BS - surveys the area to see what tools she needs, gets right to work and provides insight regarding install and after care. I did test her - I wondered if she'd remove the grate vs work around it - she removed it! A true professional! YELP, NextDoor, Facebook - social media in general is about the only way to find a "referral." Look no further folks. Kathryn is your gal. By the way, upon finishing the job we spent some time chatting. She's a really cool person too. Just call her already!
