But guess what I still decided to go regardless of my mom's experience to check out the animals. let me tell you that some of the horses have NO WATER. NO WATER. Can you believe it? Its 90 degrees outside and these horses are worked like slaves. Meanwhile, there is one middle aged lady I'm guessing the owner's daughter from what my mom told me, lives up to the rudeness. She walked right past the horses with NO WATER. Animal control needs to get a hold of this. Please do not do business with them, they are only money hungry and could care less of the animals well being. Poor living for these horses. Avoid This Place - Total Letdown I showed up 40 minutes early, but they still made me wait till last. The whole place feels messy and rundown ,dirty, not well arranged at all. Like nobody cares. The horse was dead tired. Plodded like an old man shuffling--no trot, no life. And worst? It ignored every single cue--kick, reins, voice--total zero reaction. Like riding a statue. Frustrating as hell. Gear cheap: thin ropes, loose saddle cinch. Handler shrugged, "That's how we do it." Safety? Forget it. Guide? Not friendly, barely polite--phone the whole time, no talk, no info. One hour of boredom. Skip this dump. Go somewhere decent. read more

Had an absolute blast at Surfside Ranch! I booked the 1-hour trail adventure ride and it exceeded every expectation. The whole process was easy and stress-free from start to finish, and our guides were fantastic knowledgeable, friendly, and made everyone feel comfortable. I got to ride Toxica, who was such a wonderful horse. The trail itself was gorgeous, and the scenery made the whole experience even more special. I am a total novice rider, but the staff at Surfside Ranch made sure to select great horses for me both times I've visited. Eileen is a friendly and patient instructor and guide who made the whole experience comfortable and fun. The friend who came with me is a more experienced rider and she was very impressed with the condition of the animals and the facility in which they are housed. The trails are beautiful and we can't wait to return when the beach rides are available again. I would highly recommend Surfside Ranch to riders of all skill levels. read more

For my wife's birthday, she wanted to go horseback riding, so we searched around and found this absolute gem! From the moment we arrived to the time we left, everything was fantastic. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable right away. We were paired with Buddy and Silver (I believe that was the name) and set off on an unforgettable hour-long trail ride. The scenery was beautiful, the ride was smooth, and the entire experience was just amazing. We're already looking forward to coming back! read more
