There were a surprisingly high number of patients waiting to be seen but we got in. Lindsey did the first set of X-rays and I was so impressed with the care and communication she gave the both of us the whole time. We even got a sticker of her cat miss Norris and we were told they are a hot commodity. I believe it. I hate that I didn't completely catch our nurses name working with doctor Washington- Kayla, Kaylee, Caitlin?! I'm so sorry!!! But she was so great throughout the whole night with my daughter and even gave her a brown bear at the end with a splint and cast on the same arm my daughter left with one. Ded. Dr Washington you were also very kind and thank you for doing your best to put the broken bones into place. We had a long visit but the care was superb so 5 stars to the whole staff. So so impressed and made the emergency visit less painful. Also note to the world- monkey bars are horrible and I shake both my fists at them.

I gave birth to my daughter, Kinley, by C-section on April 10, 2026, which was much earlier than her estimated due date of May 4. As a first-time mom at 36 years old, I was nervous, emotional, and honestly scared stepping into such a big and unexpected moment. But from the minute I was checked in there, I felt so thoroughly, thoughtfully, and genuinely cared for. What could have been overwhelming turned into a beautiful, peaceful, and deeply supported birth and recovery experience. I did not have any hospital bags so early and they had everything I could need and more! My stay was four days in a beautiful private room, and I am so grateful for how comfortable, safe, and cared for I felt the entire time. The hospital itself was clean, calm, and beautiful, and that really mattered during such a vulnerable and life-changing experience. It gave me such a sense of peace. What stood out most to me was the incredible staff. Every single nurse, doctor, hospital staff member, and person who came in to check on me or my daughter was kind, gentle, respectful, and compassionate. I never felt like just another patient. I felt seen, cared about, and truly looked after. I especially want to recognize Sydney and Jill, who were both amazingly kind, fun, attentive, genuine, and just wonderful human beings. They helped make such a scary and emotional experience feel smooth, safe, and even joyful. They were so patient with me as a nervous first-time mom healing from a C-section, and they were incredibly encouraging and informative without ever making me feel silly or behind. I felt empowered and encouraged. They taught me so much, helped me feel more confident, and brought such warmth into the room. I truly hope other moms get the chance to have nurses like them. I also want to mention my last nurse on discharge day, who helped with the car seat and made such a sweet final impression on me. She was wonderful, helpful, and caring, and it meant so much to end our stay with that same level of kindness and support. Most importantly, the care my daughter Kinley received was amazing. Watching how gently, carefully, and lovingly she was handled and brought into this world is something I will never forget. That means everything to a mother. I felt like both of us were in such good hands the entire time. I could not have asked for a smoother experience, especially considering how unexpected it all was. Providence St. Vincent gave me a birth story and recovery experience that I will always look back on with gratitude. Thank you for helping make one of the biggest days of my life feel beautiful, safe, and full of care. I wholeheartedly recommend Providence St. Vincent to any expecting mother or family. I will always remember how loved and supported we felt there. I know I will never forget this day and the days following my swift and smooth discharge with my new baby daughter, but I will ESPECIALLY never forget the amazing women who helped me through walk into motherhood for the first time with such care and compassion. It was truly more special than I could have ever even planned. The office also moved things along so quick and organized I never even had a chance to feel overwhelmed, was just able to focus on loving and caring for my daughter.

Great providers who really care, are extremely knowledgeable and holistically focused which are in alignment with my views. Dr Dewitt also does tongue tie releases and I've seen great results with the babies she works on. They really go above and beyond. Love that they have virtual or in person appointments and love that it doesn't feel like a hospital setting at all, it's very cozy and warm

I felt heard and supported throughout my entire pregnancy. Karen talked me through my concerns of having a big baby and going over my due date. She gave me tips to get my baby in a good position for delivery, and I feel they really helped as my labor was only 3.5 hours total from start to finish. I felt so calm once I got to the birth center and had Karen and 2 of her assistants help me have the birth of my dreams. I especially loved the time shortly after my baby was born where we were left alone in the room and able to bond with our new baby without being constantly interrupted. The birthing suite was so homey and we have had no problems with billing whatsoever. (They actually over estimated my cost with insurance and I got a partial refund!) Canyon was the perfect place for us.

I crashed all over the sharp edge of practice stairs and bled for over 24 hours. Right after the crash, Providence Hospital released me with no tests. The results were: -an ER visit 3 days later - having complete urinary incontinence for a year following -a year of severe tibia, knee, and hip pain that made PT for for my knee impossible. -having to miss three 5k runs I'd signed up for in 2018 (I actually did the 5k June 2018 Starlight Run BEFORE both knees were replaced.) I had the left knee done successfully in August 2018 with a responsible physical therapist who made sure my ride knew he must hold onto the safety belt, especially on stairs. - having to early retire at 62 because the fall caused my lower back to be in horrific pain and I would need to lose more work time due to an unexpected back surgery. -having to have spinal surgery-two rods, a cage, and pedicle screws--that I never intended to have, as I had kept it pain free for two years with exercise -12 weeks of terrible pain from the spinal surgery. -gaining 30 pounds due to inability to exercise. -losing my job of two years and the employee stock which I'd planned to earn by working another 10 years. The loss was because I could no longer stand, which my job required. -13 months of limping and having to use a walker, someone's arm, and store motorcarts in order to walk. -extreme emotional distress, pain, and suffering for 13 months -having to live on credit cards and getting into terrible debt. -and much more. -Providence called the crash a "lack of communication" in all medical notes. -Providence claims manager said it was my fault for not following directions! It took no responsibility. -Providence never sent me to a cardiologist in 2019, despite a year of chronic coughing and breathlessness and a history of heart disease. In October 2019, I switched to Legacy for obvious reasons. -a Legacy Urologist stopped the incontinence after 13 months, in January 2020. -a Cardiologist found four major arteries in my heart blocked over 80% in January 2020. -a three-day hospital stay to get 2 stents in my LAD and one in my circumflex and diagonal arteries and to start recovering. - having another three-day hospital stay due to chronic pulminary disease. -both of the above hospital stays were in February 2020. -My Legacy physical therapist diagnosed my painful tibia, knee, and hip 13 months after the Providence hospital crash. -I have no reflex in the injured leg. -I have JUST BEGUN physical therapy with Legacy for the injured leg from the 12/28/18 Providence Hospital crash. Providence claims manager says it was my fault for not following directions, which would not matter even if it were true, as the PT was standing away from me as I ascended the stairs, not holding onto the safety belt as required. This hospital administration has not apologized or taken any responsibility as of 2/22/2020. What would you say 14 months of a human life is worth? That negligent physical therapist and Providence failing to honor their mission statement of compassion, dignity, justice, integrity, excellence honor, dignity, took 14 months of mine.
