When we arrive in the room she seemed a little bit agitated and tried to school me about being late I explained to her that I wasn't late and I had gotten a text saying the appointment was on Friday but still came today..... She asked me about surgeries I told her I had my right ovary removed after telling her that she was agitated bc I didn't know how long it's been removed and asked her what do they grow back?? She proceeded to say I don't wanna ge looking for something that's not there WELL MAAM YOU CHOSE YOUR OCCUPATION THATS YOUR JOB.... Then she said lower your bottoms hold your stomach up In my 46 years of life I never held my stomach during an ultrasound even after 10 kids are could it be she didn't wanna touch a brown skin lady..To end it all she told me that I didn't have enough fluids and he would have to reschedule my appointment had told me she was moving me til 11 and if I leave tell the front desk we'll ma'am if I don't have to be back till 11 am why do you care if im there after you treated me like shit .....Saying this to say Lindsey is not a good look for Baton Rouge General this was by far my most horrible experience

The place was clean, the people seem to know what they were doing. I'm not sure if I already reviewed this place but Yelp kept sending me messages to do it again if I did. No complaints. Everything went better than I expected. I was in and out within an hour.

I'm extremely claustrophobic. The tech asked me about this and I was put into an "open" type…read moremachine. It was more like a hamburger bun (sides open) rather than having to be in a tunnel like machine. I had earplugs and a washcloth over my eyes, and probably would have fallen asleep if not for the noise. One of the most pleasant MRIs I've ever had. The technician was very nice and explained the process very well.

worst place ever! we were there for over a month...I would never recommend for anyone go there…read more. 90% of the people who work there are there for a paycheck and a paycheck alone..zero concern or care about the patient..thank goodness my husband is not elderly and also that I was there as an advocate because I can't even imagine the scenario for elderly patients with no advocate..there were many incidents that were upsetting but a few stand out.. *my husband is a paraplegic and had a pressure wound (3 inches in diameter) that wasn't attended to for about 10 days! no changing of bandages..not looked at..nothing! *my husband was told by his very kind physical therapist Rod that he could get water from a filtered water dispenser on the other end of the facility at any time and when I asked where it was so I could get him some, the response was "that's not for patients"with an eye roll by an extremely rude nurse named Kim.. so I went back to his room and there was no follow up about water for 30 minutes! I went and found it on my own to fill his bottles and told Kim thanks for the water and asked for her name and her reply was "don't talk to me like that" *and last but certainly not least was on his discharge day..not one person came in his room to discuss the discharge procedure! at 2pm my husband called me to inform me of that so I called and said no one had been in his room to discuss him leaving that day..the response was "we didn't know when he was leaving"..how absurd!! I told them he's leaving at 3..and when I got there at 2:30 still nothing from them!....normally when you leave a hospital a few different people come and see you to give you papers or meds or wish you well on your departure..normally when you leave a skilled facility a few people come in to give you papers or meds or wish you well on your departure.. no one came in for anything! I got him out of the bed.. I got him dressed and they didn't even start any paperwork or prepare to have his meds ready until they saw us walking down the hall to exit! absolutely unprofessional unprepared and uncaring.. it's very disheartening to be in a place that should be caring and professional..a place where loved ones spend lots of time there only to be neglected..disrespected..and completely disregarded...I feel sorry and concerned for anyone who decides to stay there
