We had driven from Baltimore to get ahead of bad weather, tried calling multiple times, and found the voicemail full. There's no website to confirm hours, so we were left guessing whether to wait. Once inside, we spent nearly two hours selecting eight fabrics for multiple projects. Many fabrics were not priced, and the single employee cutting fabric had to repeatedly walk to the front of the store to ask the owner for pricing or answers to basic questions, which made the process extremely slow. The final issue was a large-print fabric that had deep slashes running several yards into the roll, along with visible black marks. I asked that the damaged portion be cut off or that cutting begin from the other end of the roll. The owner refused and told me that if I didn't like it, I didn't have to buy it, stating multiple times that they are a "for profit store." I have over 50 years of experience buying fabric and have never been expected to pay for clearly damaged yardage. We ultimately walked out without purchasing anything, leaving eight rolls at the cutting table--well over $1,000 in sales lost. It's disappointing to see how much this store has changed. It was once staffed by knowledgeable, helpful people who wanted to assist customers. I won't be returning.

It is a bright, well lit store that shows the items to their best advantage. There was a demonstration for sewing a fabric Christmas Tree. The salesperson was very patient explaining and answering questions. I was able to find a special rotary cutter that I wanted at a decent price. Overall I think this location is pretty good. I have been coming to this location probably since it opened. In fact, the first week it opened my dad and I would go up just to, trying to find some sort of reason to go and check things out. Any time I'm in the store, I think of him. I have bought a variety of items from new sinks, power tools, plumbing, flowers in spring, and concrete. The concrete pricing and flowers you really can't beat; however, their prices are somewhat gouged knowing that they are the only show in town. Up near Pittsburgh where there is both a Home Depot and Lowes, prices are way more fair. Also, the issue here is a lack of knowledge and when you do approach the pro or contractor desk- they look down at you like you're bothering them. I've flipped 3 houses and you've seen my skills, how about some respect.

If i would have bought with a lowes card they would change it out within 30 days otherwise you have 48 hours to find problems then you have to deal with the manufacture. Such a joke buyers beware your buying nothing but problems. I will give my business to a company that actually cares like Menards
