As a long time cannabis patient. I have tried many of the dispensaries in town. When Surterra opened up close to me, I started going to the COLONIAL dispensary. I have gone there ever since they opened up and every single one of the staff is absolutely amazing. Never had a problem, always smiles and great product. About a month ago, I realized that my prescription had not been renewed and called my doctor. He gave me more points and I proceeded to Surterra to fill my prescription. They had a wonderful sale going on, so I thought I would stock up once and not returned for another three weeks. I had a new young lady behind the counter that pulled out the product and then proceeded to tell me that I had completely run out of points and she could not dispense the full amount. !! This had never happened to me, especially since I just renewed my prescription. !!! I bought the flower that she would sell me, and I came home and went into an absolute anxiety attack , since I count on this medication for serious pain and anxiety and insomnia. During this week of 420, I went back to get some concentrate and was helped by Rey. He had helped me before, he really really really knows his product and is one of the kindest people when dealing with patients. I mentioned something about not being able to buy flower. and could he please look up in the government website when I could buy some more. He turned around and told me you have plenty. I can dispense some more right now! I was in shock after suffering for a week thinking I could not get any more flower. It seems the young girl that was dispensing made a complete mistake . She was not kind. She was not sweet. She was not helpful. Again I think management needs to take a look at this young lady and make sure that they're training her properly so that she knows how to read the prescriptions. On the other hand, Rey explained everything very carefully to me and spent a good 10 minutes going over products and the government amounts, since I don't understand that part. Something changed at this location since the renovation, and more of the employees need to understand that we're not utilizing them for funsies - that they're standing between patients and their medications. I was told by three people on three days over the course of two weeks about when I'd be able to refill. Three people, three days, gave me the the same answer: "it'll roll over tomorrow." Instead of calling me to tell me my prescription wouldn't be filled, it sat in pending. "Don't you know how to check this yourself on the registry?" I do, thanks, but figured I'd rely on these folks to be communicative. Avoid this location, the Colonial location has been much better so far. read more

The only reason this has two stars and not one is because the situation has been rectified (pending delivery tomorrow), and because I want this review to be noticed by someone who can actually do something to prevent this situation from repeating in the future. I visited Surterra two weeks ago on my birthday for the first time, it's a bit of a road trip for me (1.5 hours drive) so I waited for a special occasion to justify the drive. Spent a nice chunk of change as it was my birthday gift from my fiance. I left with three Coral Reefer Vapes and one Florida's Finest cartridge. The FF cart burned out with a little more than 1/4 product remaining, it completely stopped working. Two of the CR vapes I bought (1:1 Cabana Daydreaming) tasted like sucking burnt hair through a straw halfway through use, so medicating was a very unpleasant experience. The Surfing in a Hurricane vape worked fine, the medication was nice as well. I contacted Surterra via their social media and email (separately) the day after these issues began happening with the CR vapes, as they specifically told me that issue lied more with the carts than the disposables (which of course cost more). I was told I'd need to call their help line (then wtf is the point of emailing??) and I replied informing them I didn't have phone service at the time, until just yesterday. This didn't stop them from repeatedly calling me instead of replying to my emails, leaving voice messages, knowing full well I could not make/receive calls at the time. I emailed daily to no avail, and received the same initial response ("thanks for contacting us, please provide your patient info etc...") to every inquiry. Thank you Surterra for the excess and heightened anxiety I experienced because of this. Finally, yesterday I was able to call and speak to a supervisor (after I spoke to a CS rep, told her everything, to which she replied "uhh.. ok so what's the problem?". She was clearly baked out of her mind and sounded it too) who insisted they would fix this and call me back within 30 minutes. So I waited... Ten hours. Called back again and was told an order was PENDING FOR PICK UP (by me, in the store) for ONE FL Finest cart, which I told the previous supervisor had no desire to try again. I don't know why patient care seems like such a joke to everyone at Surterra's wellness/customer service centers, but I can say with confidence I will never return to Surterra. Credit where credit is due, the reps in store were very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable, however that isn't enough to negate the overall experience I had. This entire situation has left a taste in my mouth worse than those burnt carts did, and the level of unprofessionalism I encountered with having to deal with this for two weeks is absolutely incredible. As I stated earlier, my intention with this review is in hopes that Surterra recognizes the massive hole in their system and makes the effort to actually rectify the many many issues wrong with it. Surterra could be a genuinely great dispensary if they spent less money on the aesthetics of their products and stores, and more on training compassionate and capable reps to handle patient care properly. I will stick with Curaleaf and Trulieve who are both models of how a dispensary should be operating, especially with regards to patient care and well-being. read more

Horrible! I've had to stop going to this dispensary because their pet policy is out of control and creates a huge risk for individuals such as myself who have a Service Dog. My Service Dog has almost gotten attacked many times inside the Orlando location. I've had employees witness many of these issues and just ignored the situation, when in reality the business will get into trouble for allowing such aggressive animals on there property and allow these pets to attack myself or my medical assistance is illegal. Surterra has recently placed a pet friendly policy to protect these aggressive pets so sadly I can't risk my health and the safety of my service dog for a dispensary whose products are over priced and there employees don't know what they're talking about. I've gone very recently and remembered why I will never go back again. If you want to get attacked by an aggressive pet and being shown by there staff that your health doesn't matter, have over priced product and horrible customer service than this is the dispensary for you. read more

I placed an online order and it took way longer than ever before because I had to wait for two people casually shopping not sure what to get - which is fine - but the old way allowed people who were quickly picking up to get their stuff and go. Avoid this place like the plague. Like the pandemic. I know it sounds harsh but they are rude and very unprofessional. I walked in with my wife and sat down while she was getting her medication oils for her cancer. I sit down and the young lady tells my wife he should not be in here, it's not allowed. I have always walked in with her because of her condition. Her inflammation cause dizziness. Without hesitation they asked me to leave. I responding by trying to explain. A supervisor comes out and expresses how they try to accommodate and that I should why before making my comments and string my feelings. If I could give a 0 I would. Worst cartridges and products I've ever purchased. They don't even tell you if the carts are flavored! I got 2 carts thinking they would be good and NATURAL and instead I was given fruit infused crap. Carts are a HUGE waste of money, don't even bother. They leak EVERYWHERE if they aren't upright, god forbid you cant store it in a pocket 24/7 or something. If it tips over, you'll have a mess on your hands (I had to clean my entire purse because it leaked everywhere). The carts clog 24/7... I store it upright constantly because of this issue, and it still does nothing to help the faulty cheap manufacturing or clogging. 5 minutes ago I hit my final straw with these carts. I just tried to hit my pen and a piece of the wax from inside the pen shot into my throat and it's all over my fingers and teeth from trying to get it out of my mouth. I have half a cart left and would rather throw it away than deal with these issues anymore. If I'm constantly storing it upright, tell me how the wax keeps getting into the mouth piece?! Apparently you have to pay online for them to hold your order it does not say this on the website nor does it say your order will be canceled and put back.
