Although it was our first time buying a house, we were probably significantly above-average in our overall preparation and research of market conditions. He remained my Real Estate Agent in several different capacities for the next 10 years or so. He was my Property Manager for the main bulk of time, and then when I was ready to sell, he easily slipped into being the Seller's Agent and represented me while I lived several hours away. During the time he was my Property Manager, Mike kept the condo full. I had a very good rate as far as low vacancy. He took care of issues as they came up and was very responsive (phone, text and email). He charged a fair rate as far as his commissions and would make sure I was happy with the final amount. As my Real Estate Agent, he found buyer's within a month, and we closed last week. It was a smooth sale, no glitches along the way from start to finish. Mike has a lot of connections in the area, and was always able to get the reliable handyman, Sears guy, or chimney sweep whenever needed, which is a big relief when, as the owner, you live hundreds of miles away from your property. I would recommend him in either role (Property Manager or Real Estate Agent).

I particularly liked the home inspector she recommended, who identified a few issues with the otherwise perfect house that I was able to use to reduce the purchase price. When my fiend, a nearly blind elderly widow, needed to sell her house so she could move into assisted living, Marilyn helped her find people to clean the house out to get it ready for sale. She worked with the seller to get through all paperwork needed to get the property listed, explaining everything patiently to the seller. She also helped the seller find people to clean out the house to prepare it for sale. Marilyn also took excellent photographs of the property, using some of her own furniture to stage some of the shots. The seller received multiple offers on the property within weeks of going on the market, as a result of the excellent marketing. Finally, Marilyn went above and beyond the call of duty by arranging for an air conditioning system and water heater to be bought up to code and having them inspected so the property could get a certificate of occupancy, so the sale could finally go through.
