We are a hardworking team & yes we do have fundraising just like any other sport out there. Nobody is forced into purchasing anything or even participating in the fundraiser, it is all optional. I personally believe in my own opinion the dance teachers are dressed professional for the profession they are in (Comfortable clothing, leggings,sneakers, etc) I just hate to see people out there using fake names on Yelp reviews trying to ruin a dance studios reputation. Many of the dancers have been dancing at this studio for 5+ years, it is like a family. My daughters personally have made the greatest friendships at this dance studio and have learned so much from the staff. They win awards and have built up their self confidence. So I do recommend Elite Dance Studio to anyone looking for a dance studio for a child of any age.

My daughters have been dancing here for 4 to 5 years as recreational (not competition) dancers and I love that this studio is committed to both recreational as well as competition. You never feel as if the recreational dancers are less important, which is nice. I also appreciate that the dancing is both tasteful and high quality. I don't feel as if they are in-training for strip tease. (which isn't the case for all dance recitals that I have seen!) For those of you wondering about the name, this studio actually does do dance theater. They include theatrical dance pieces both in the recital and in area theaters. (This year they performed Mary Poppins and Peter and the Wolf at the recital.) CONS: They have gotten much better, but in the past the administration has been a little disorganized. Communication can be erratic and sometimes classes can start 5 minutes late, but if you can live with all of that I HIGHLY recommend this studio.
