I realised as soon as I walked in the door that sushi was out of the question, not due to the unpleasant decor, but the unpleasant odour. It smelt like a greasy food, a day old. So I opted for a curry, which tasted like something between a curry and a saté it was not even close to being tasty, and I was almost happy that the serving was on the small side. There was a place across the road though, only a couple of euro more expensive, that seemed to serve more authentic Japanese food. If I ever end up on a sushi hunt in this kiez again, I'll probably give that one ago.. I recommend that you do too!
