Food was Great, Service great and I like the laid back ambiance is a good feel when I'm here. I do how ever do not like hot food served in or on plastic..once I didn't know' and this time I forgot but the delicious ramen and miso are served with Plastic spoons and bowls. well first off me my cousin and gf wanted sushi. so we decided to go for sushi. she smokes marijuana and is prescribed so medically allowed, on top of that it's legal in BC. so we go in and she smells a little bit like pot. they refused service to us and wouldn't serve us alcohol saying we were intoxicated, i wasn't drinking but did want a glass of wine with my lunch. so ask me how the food was? we wouldn't know as the servers wouldn't serve us due to my cousin smelling like legal marijiana... in BC. mind blown read more

So glad they open earlier than that place up the street. Atmosphere is so relaxing. Rolls are plentiful and creative, plus definitely yummy. Tempura is so much better than down the road. New favorite place. read more

Really enjoyed this place. Tried to go to Yamagoya, but the wait was too long so we decided to give this place a try. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I ordered a crispy tuna roll and the hot stone bibimbap. Others in the group ordered the ramen, the salmon bento box and tempura and all enjoyed their meals. Happily surprised by our meal! read more

The atmosphere was great. Awesome service and the amount of food was way beyond expectation. The taste out of this world

Ordered to go, the server was quick to dismiss me shoving my item in the bag. When I arrived home my miso soup had spilled all over the other containers that were in the bag, as well we have ordered vegetarian sushi it was put all in one box along with other non vegetarian items. The food and service were good, but the lack of personal hygene among the staff raises concerns about sanitation. I was in the mens restroom the day before Xmas and a restaurant employee was sitting on the toilet (doing # 2). After wiping himself he left the bathroom without washing his hands and walked straight into the kitchen to prepare food for customers. The management needs to be on top of this and create a work environment that respects and enforces sanitary practices. read more
