Unfortunately, despite taking on the matter, the team was unable to effectively negotiate with the mortgage servicer or compel them to honor the agreement. Even more concerning, the firm filed for a court appearance and then failed to appear. This was not a minor administrative issue--it was a fundamental failure to follow through on a legal matter they had undertaken to handle on my behalf. When I subsequently provided feedback regarding the firm's disorganization, unprofessional communication, and lack of meaningful results, they chose to terminate our relationship rather than address those concerns. They did so just one week before they had previously agreed to represent me, leaving me without the assistance I had been relying on at a particularly consequential point in the matter. The combination of poor communication, failure to appear in court, failure to achieve the stated objective, and ultimately abandoning the engagement when I raised legitimate concerns was deeply troubling.
