I frequent many thrift shops in the surrounding areas. This store is the worst I've ever seen! The…read morestore has never opened on time when I was there. She has pulled in 20 mins late, Then (while I sat waiting) didn't unlock the door. She proceeded to slowly comb through the donation boxes people left (still waiting). A truck pulls in and she talk to this guy for another 10-15 mins! Finally, he leaves she unlocks the door and I meander over. Once entering the store the smell was like old wet socks hitting you in the face. Each time I see the owner it's a different personality. There are days that she is polite and then days she does not even greet you. Once as I was browsing the racks, a woman came in looking for a specific type of gown. The owner did not even get off her cellphone long enough to point her in the direction of the gowns! The woman threw her hands in the air and left. The quality of the clothing is below what I find for cheaper at Salvation Army or Goodwill. There are very few name brand items and most items are faded or have severe pilling . I suggest checking every zipper, button and seams as many items I have seen being sold were broken or in need of repair. Her prices should be cheaper for the WELL- WORN clothes she is selling. Overall, prices are high you can buy NEW for less at retail, don't expect to be treated well or find bargains. Call first before wasting your gas, she may not even be there.

The clothing is all pretty well organized by size. I appreciate that Thrifty Shopper does two Color-of-the-Day tags, one for 50% off an one for 75% off. I did find several garments tagged in those favorable colors, and used the pretty clean and handy changing rooms to try things on. Unfortunately nothing clothing-wise went home with me, but I did find a couple glassware items and a few books that I purchased. The books section is a small room in the back of the store, but if you dig around we found a few nice titles of interest to us and for our kids. The housewares area was pretty limited, I remember there being more selection. I still use our king-sized full bedroom set that I purchased from here years ago (it's a vintage NBA set!), and recall there being more of a linen variety too. But there was still plenty to poke around for the hour in this thrifting paradise while my husband was in his video game store paradise, haha. Everything is organized by category (womens tops, home goods, etc). The only thing I dont love is once you're in a section, it's organized by color, and not size, so you gotta prepare to be in the store awhile and to hunt. The store is generally clean for a sal val. The employees are super sweet. Usually there is a bit of a line for check out and they seem to be a bit short staffed, but trust they are moving and grooving. I do my best to gatekeep this location because I want it all for myself lol.
