This used to be known as Farnborough Hospital, but the current complex must be less than 7 years…read moreold and benefits from a modern design and layout. I'm not going to comment about individual services - with the NHS it can be entirely down to who you are due to see, about what and when. So, instead I'll concentrate on the facilities available and access: The hospital is served by at least 5 buses, but only the 261 and R1 actually enter the grounds. Most ward visiting hours tend to be 2-4pm and 6-8pm, though the nursing staff are pretty flexible if you give 'em advance warning. Visitors are pretty well catered for: there is a coffee bar and restaurant open during daytime hours, a newsagent which stays open longer and various vending machines. Tip: Finding a parking space at peak times is enough to give you a coronary however (as do the charges), so I recommend using the Sainsbury's car park next door. The hospital is pretty quick to get to from most places, as it is on the A21.

Poor service. I…read morewent to the urgent care centre and was very disappointed with the service I'm 17th weeks pregnant and was experiencing a lot of pain and feeling generally unwell. I was also worried about my unborn child. The dr that I saw was so pantronising. And spoke down to me as thou I had wasted her time, and was suggested that my pain was just due to growing pains! Please I dont choose to want to sit for two hours on my only day off to be told this. It turned out that I had uti. I asked the dr if she could check the baby's heartbeat as I was concerned she advised that they didn't offer this service due to patient misuse (which she was directing at me)!!! I have worked for the NHS for 18 years. And have never been so disappointed with the service.

When they are dealing with severe illnesses they are very compassionate and supportive, and well-organised in referrals and dealing with hospitals/community mental health etc. Highly recommended!

Once again I am having problems getting my repeat medication…read more Why should I have to act like a fish wife to even get my prescription sent down to the chemist so that they may bring it to me. My request was placed in the box in the hall at about 3-45 on Friday last. It is now Thursday 10/35 am Not sent down to chemist. Had to push the poor receptionist+++++ to find the prescription which she did afer asking to speak to Liz, Colin and DR. Parker. None available. The script was found and would be sent down to the chemist!! Written up on the 19th ??????? script still in ?? box at reception. Colin sort your staff out I though things would have been better as I had great problems getting my last scrip signed and sent to the chemist ??deliberate acct ?? or pure ineffiancy Great service from the Dr's It appears as you Colinhave no control over certain members of the staff I shall have to bring in the Health Authority to investigate It is now Thursday and medicines have not been delivered. With hope they will arrive Friday. Contacting the Health Authorities and ask them to investigate Liz and those responsible for the repeat prescriptions My life depends on the medication If necessary I shall take legal action against the person who refused to send my repeat prescription down to the chemist. If I was not housebound I would go over to the surgery where in the past I had similar problems and told them once if I did not get the prescription I would go to ST Thomas Hospital and find my cardiologist to write me up what I required. Liz and the others have no respect for the patients or themselves. ?? do they get a kick out of this action Colin remember you told me it was a 48 hour service!!!!!! after my last complaint. It appears that meetings are more important than the patients., Life is hard when one is not well
