My cat went in for dental surgery and both of us were VERY nervous. The experience from drop-off to pick-up was above & beyond! The front desk was very helpful and friendly, the tech that came initially was very kind, and the interaction with Dr. R was very reassuring, she did not make me feel silly for asking questions and was extremely present throughout the intake conversation. Lastly, I have to shoutout Carly. She is AMAZING and beyond communicative, she provided timely updates and photos! I will be switching to Mid-Atlantic for all of my future kitty needs, check-ups, and everything in between.

They have since blocked their FB Messenger, deleted this from their FB page, all while not responding to my emails to rectify the situation. "UPDATE : I was the adopter mentioned above, placing an application for this specific kitty since she looked so much like my beloved Tortie that had passed almost 4 months ago, while this cat was not yet listed on their website and still in quarantine. Otherwise I was not yet planning on adopting just yet, but when I did I had intended on an older cat to provide a happy remainder of their life, as well as a companion kitten for enrichment. I expressed all of this to the Adoption Coordinator. After being told the Bengal mix would only be adopted out to someone who was knowledgeable about the breed, I did hours of research and found that my Tortie had prepared me well, as she also had similar characteristics and wanted a raw meat diet primarily. I emailed them each week day inquiring about the Bengals' well-being in the facility and that I would dash out to meet her, and together, choose a fur-buddy for her once I got the word from them. Yesterday I received an email (6days later!!!) that my application had not yet been processed, that the Bengal had been adopted out to a random person who already had an approved application (who, mind you, was clearly already planning on adopting and would have chosen another kitty), and that Talbot still had many other cat to choose from if I still wanted my application processed! What a tragedy! Not only was I going to adopt 2, learning of the exotic breed I was going to make a healthy donation. So Talbot was only able to, in this instance, adopt out 1 rather than 3 cats. Absolute ineptitude and irresponsibility, I am livid!" I do not recommend this organization to any of you.

I could have an appointment for one of my cats, and the Dr. will always check in with me on my sister's new puppy, or my nephews German Shepherd! The same goes for when my family visits, she will always ask about my cats. I am a Sphynx breeder, and sadly these cats are prone to many serious health conditions and complications. As a breeder, finding not only hands on, but pro-active care is very important. I have found this here at Choptank. I live over an hour away and will make that trip across the Bay Bridge for their care. I have also recommended her to other Sphynx's owners. They are also very good at handling skittish pets. My nephew has a German Shepherd that had an "alternate ID" and viewed vets as the ultimate enemy. It made it hard to get him care, as he is a huge German Shepherd. The Dr came in clutch with a "fear not" attitude and met my nephew in the parking lot, overlooked our dogs scare tactics and the two walked into the front door together. If I have ever had an emergency, and their schedule permits, I have been able to be seen, or diverted to proper care elsewhere. The staff is very friendly and professional and I recommend them to anyone not only on the Eastern Shore, but also within the DC Metro area.

With all due respect, this person should refrain from engaging in veterinary medicine in order to comport with professional standards. What is most disturbing is that the prices for medications reach the level of ethical fraudulence for they are outrageously expensive. Since you are given no choice at the time that they are dispensed then I would also add a dash of financial extortion. I rate it two stars out of a vague sense of generosity.

Called ahead to make sure this store could do it (since not all do) and was told they could. Pulled in and was a bit confused to find the store's fill station was inside the garden center's gate. Parked and asked the friendly cashier, who passed me off to someone who could help; was told to back in to the garden center. In the end, it was Leonard (I believe) who did our fill, with two other employees there to watch and learn. I always watch and stand by ready to correct in case the employee does something wrong that can damage the system (lots of places are staffed with folks who don't know how to properly fill an RV tank) but there was no need: Leonard knew his stuff, and did everything correctly and efficiently! I was worried that since I bought it as is I was out of luck. $400 down the drain ( short of repairing it). I brought the saw back and they took the saw back no question asked. I put that money towards a brand new 450. It runs like a top. Also they gave me a pretty nice military discount. Couldn't ask for a better experience.
